I was just in Rome with my daughter and nephew and booked a guided visit of Ancient Rome in English with Eleonora. The tour went above and beyond my expectations. Eleonora was knowledgeable, fun and perfect for our little group: a college student majoring in history, a high schooler with a keen interest in the classics and history, and me, a lifelong learner. Eleonora led us expertly through the ruins, alternating intriguing stories with hard facts giving us a solid foundation and understanding of life in Rome in the past, through the centuries, and up to the present day. Valeria was really friendly, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her architecture background brought a really great insight to the tour of Colosseum and Forum. If you’re questioning the cost in anyway, I would say it is worth every penny. Not only do you have the great knowledge, one to one attention of Valeria and therefore you can ask any questions, but also when the attractions are so busy it’s incredibly valuable to have your own personal guide who can take you to one side easily and find somewhere quieter to give you more information. Yanira was wonderful, I highly recommend her! We were a blended family group of 9, including grandchildren, parents, and grandparents, with Spanish-only speakers and English-only speakers. Yanira did a wonderful job of switching back-and-forth, not just juggling historical information in multiple languages, but also supporting our widely-varying needs - spotting the lift for elderly grandparents who might have had difficult managing the Colosseum steps, unerringly navigating to the toilets for the pregnant woman in our group, finding the nursing room for our nursing mother. I don't know where to begin. We first met Barbara when she was our Coliseum tour guide. She was so friendly and her knowledge about the Coliseum was amazing. She gave us so much information and insight into those ancient times. We are 80 years old and she made sure to include stops when we needed a break. Then she helped us find a taxi back to our hotel, as we were exhausted. We had a Vatican tour scheduled with her the next day but had to cancel because my husband was sick. She took the initiative to call our hotel and talk to the manager about my husband. He sent a doctor and an ambulance came and took my husband to the hospital. Barbara kept in touch with me and even came to the hospital to help me. I also called her and asked her to talk to the doctor for me and translate what he was saying. She was truly my angel through this terrible ordeal. Don't know what I would have done without her with locals is very lucky to have such a caring, knowledgeable guide. WONDERFUL

We really enjoyed our tour with Pietro. He was very knowledgeable and blew us away with information. I do believe the site should have been more informative of the breakdown of costs. Our tour cost 498 Euros for 3 people for 3 hours. Then an addition of 150 Euros total for tickets, which we thought were inclusive of the tour cost. So overall a hefty tour cost.Loved our tour

Pietro was our guide for the colosseum and the forum. We had our 18 year old grandson with us so loved how Pietro was able to keep him engaged. We learned so much about how the games were played and then about the palaces and forum hill. Pietro doesn't just recite names, dates and places he really creates a picture you can imagine of a complex time. I'd do another tour with Pietro.Great way to learn about the colosseum
