Weil das Museum am gebuchten Abend bereits geschlossen war, hat uns David kurzerhand angeboten, die Führung durch das Museum am nächsten Morgen nachzuholen. Wir haben somit fast eine doppelte Führung erhalten. Gulbenkians Ausstellung war echt sehr interessant, und David hat uns noch viele zusätzliche Tipps mitgeben können. António was very pleasant even though we were late getting to our prearranged meeting. He was hired to take us around the Gulbukien museum. He was knowledgeable about Mr Gulbeckian’s life but told us nothing about what we were to see in the exhibits. He walked around with us but seemed to know nothing about the art. I felt we paid a lot for no information. The collection was wonderful and l was fascinated by the art nouveau jewellery which I didn’t know was there. It would have been interesting to hear about the designers.

Our tour was supposed to be a museum tour but it turned out that the museum was closed. Diolo, being the skilled tour guide and beatboxer that he is, thought quickly, improved and offered us options on what we could do as an alternative. He took us on a tour around Lisbon that gave us some of the old and new sights that showed us what makes Lisbon the vibrant city that it is. Occasionally displaying his hype beatboxing skills, Diolo’s love for Lisbon and exuberant energy made our detour one of a kind! Absolutely loved our walking tour around Lisbon with Ines. She offered to meet us at our hotel which we greatly appreciated. Ines is incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s rich history with fascinating stories and local insights. Her enthusiasm and passion for Lisbon was enchanting and refreshing. We came away with a deeper appreciation for Lisbon and some great local tips. Ines helped us to understand the train and tram system for our visits to Sintra and Cascais. Our family of four were lucky enough to spend a magical evening with Alphé touring and eating throughout Lisboa. He took us to a longstanding cafe, a charming family run restaurant filled with local families, and amazing pasteis de nata spot where they are made right in front of you. We got to sample some delicious authentic Portuguese food and he made certain to point out buildings with exceptional craftsmanship, beautiful chapels, and jaw-dropping renovations. He even sent a follow-up list of stores and other restaurants and historic spots to visit during our trip. I can’t recommend this experience with him more highly- it was like touring Lisboa with a dear friend who had a vast knowledge of their hometown. We all got so much out of this tour- not just yummy food, but a real sense of the town & Lisboa customs and culture. The night we spent with Alphé will stay in our memories for a long,long time! I can’t imagine a better way to experience Lisboa than with Alphé!!! A magical night in Lisboa with Alphé

I traveled solo for my first trip to Lisbon. Rodrigo was the perfect choice for a tour guide. He knows literally everything about the city and its rich history and is friendly and funny. Rodrigo was also very flexible and able to show me areas and shops that met my interests. And, his little sidekick, Poznan, is the perfect ambassador for the city. Her tail never stops wagging she greeted everyone with excitement. It was a great tour and I cannot recommend Rodrigo highly enough for solo travelers, families with children or groups. Great fun in Lisbon!

This was our first time in Portugal, and the day with Lius was one of the best experiences we've had! He communicated with us before the tour and accommodated with a later start and ending due to personal reasons. We never felt rushed. He was highly knowledgeable about the history and the details of everything. He provided history along the way, an added bonus! He also gave us a brief but nice shopping break in Cascais. I cannot imagine this tour without a guide like Lius. He provided us with excellent touring tips for the following day. He is also super fun! This was our 1st time in Portugal and this tour enabled us to see Obidos, Fatima, and then remain in Nazare, our next destination after Lisbon. Our tour guide Luis was absolutely fantastic! He was really fun to travel with and extremely knowledgeable about the history of all places en route! We never felt rushed and had the perfect amount of time at each town. And when we arrived in Nazare, he assisted us in checking in to our next hotel and orienting us to other aspects (restaurants, etc). Again, we chose not to return to Lisbon. When we eventually return to Lisbon, we will definitely be reaching back to Luis!Great tour to Obidos, Fatima, and Nazare

We had a 5 hour city tour of Lisbon with Amanda on Saturday, June 14, 2025. It was marvelous! First of all she is so immediately warm and friendly - I felt as though she was a good friend that I've known for years. She took us to amazing spots for stunning vistas, informed us on all aspects of Lisbon; history, architecture, music and my favorite- Portuguese food! She's full of energy and gave us an experience and knowledge of this beautiful city that we would absolutely not been able to achieve without her. She gave us a number of recommendations for dinner after - specifically some with vegan and vegetarian options. It was a perfect afternoon, a highlight of our 10 day trip to Portugal. We booked our food tour last minute (within two hours of the tour). David was very responsive! He showed us around the city, giving us a lot of history about Lisbon, the food, the drinks. We tried many different foods which were all very tasty. And it's fun to walk around town with a local and get little tid bits along the way. He certainly went the extra mile, showing us different rooftops, ways to get around Lisbon, and truly a lot of history, which we really enjoyed. I would highly suggest David to anyone. Really a nice guy who seems to enjoy what he's doing.Fantastic tour and guide!
