We booked a second tour w/ Hugo on a return trip to Paris because we had such a good experience the first time! Hugo is an excellent guide. He loves art, is incredibly knowledgeable, and does a great job of making art accessible to all ages and backgrounds. He curates what he shows you, which is incredibly helpful in an overwhelming space like the Louvre, and is happy to answer any/all questions. He is also thoughtful about customizing information if you have kids, or special interests. His english is excellent and he's charming. He also uses a mic/headphone system which helps tremendously w/ communicating in crowded spaces. We would happily book with him again!Second Great Experience

We’ve toured with many private guides; Fernanda is among the best. She is not only extremely informative but so enthusiastic. She welcomed every question; whenever we showed interest in an object we were passing on the way to elsewhere she stopped and gave a full explanation. She was a lot of fun, too, and so friendly. 5 STAR. My wife and I were very fortunate to have Hugo guide us through the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay on two separate days. Despite some technical problems at the start dealing with wheelchair access and some other problems that are not worth mentioning, Emilie proved to be a resourceful person and very knowledgeable every step of our visit. Because my husband is handicapped and travels on a small scooter, it’s a bit more challenging when negotiating his way through museums. Emilie was very attentive and made sure that he and everyone around him were safe. Emilie also added some personal comments and anecdotes which made the guided visit even more interesting. Hugo while touring us through d’Orsay and 5th floor, provided historical and architectural information of d’Orsay. Then our tour from Manet to Monet, Cezanne and contemporaries was enlightening as to both the style of painting they evoked and well as the personal histories of the artists. Then Post Impressionism with Van Gogh’s history as well as his extremely productive final 2 months of his life. Hugo gave us a wonderful tour of the Musee D’Orsay. He is clearly a pro at this. He tailored his talk perfectly to our mixed age group (including 8 & 9 year old boys). He showed us a great selection of artwork, whilst ensuring we never felt rushed and there was plenty of time to take in the views too. He is great company and hugely knowledgeable. From the very beginning of this tour I was so happy I booked it. We were at Musee D' Orsay during spring break and it was very very busy. Fernanda took us to the front of the very long security line and then even helped us skip the ticket line so that we could buy a joint ticket with L'Organerie. Fernanda was very knowledgable and kept it interesting for both me and my 10 year olds. I will be booking with her again when we go back!Very Worthwhile

If it's your first visit and you don't have all day, a guide is the way to go! Super friendly and knowledgeable, Hugo guided us expertly into and through the Musee de'Orsay. There are a lot of people and a lot of art to view, so having a guide took the guesswork out of figuring out what pieces to see and navigating through the crowds to them. Fernanda took us on a fantastic and very memorable trip around the Musee D'Orsay. The tour was tremendously well organised and was both very informative and accessible. Fernanda has amazing knowledge and was very good at communicating that to us. My teenage children (not the easiest audience in the world) were really enthralled and both very much enjoyed the tour. It was genuinely fascinating. Fernanda herself is a very charming and kind person who really couldn't do enough to accomodate us. I always find these tours are made not only by what the guide knows but how good a company they are generally as you walk around, and we all really enjoyed Fernanda's company. I have had the privilege of visiting many art museums with group and private tours. Fernanda blew them all away! She is knowledgeable, passionate, and so effusive. Her excitement about the art and history was infectious and we could have easily stayed for 4 or 6 hours with her rather than our prescribed 2! She was so generous with her time, staying a little extra to make sure we tied everything together and got the full picture. Chrystelle gave myself and my two daughters (ages 21 and 18) a wonderful guided tours of D’Orsay. Informative, friendly, and knowledgeable - she took us through the museum explaining its history, how the art had been carefully arranged to tell the story of Impressionism as a reaction to the Academy. She also focused on key pieces of art and artists, explaining their importance and the story behind the artists. Would highly recommend! Chrystelle is a wonderful guide!

The tour allowed us to skip the lines and secure tickets even when the museum said tickets were sold out. Our guide Fernanda was perfect! I had been to the museum years ago and had looked dutifully from the first gallery to the next. Hugo put a thematic emphasis on our visit, which meant skipping some galleries and paintings but then putting emphasis on others, so that a real (his-)story emerged.
