We are very pleased with Selin as she is full of information about Vienna and its hisory. I must admit we had a challenging time trying to remember who is who but Selin is very patient with us. The pace of walk was just right for us at our age and Selin was constantly checking with us and giving us options given the limited time we had with her. My wife and I had an excellent tour with Susanne of the Schonbrunn Palace. She is a wealth of knowledge. Provided us with great context for all that we saw and detail about the Hapsburgs and Austrian and European history. We learned a lot and enjoyed Susanne's ability to teach without overloading. After we finished the Palace, we had a fantastic walk through the gardens. Susanne answered all of our questions and was extremely clear and personable. Susanne war sehr nett und hat uns tolle Lokale gezeigt und interessante Facts zu den Orten oder Wien erzählt. Die ersten beiden Stops waren auch super. Allerdings haben wir dann beim zweiten Stop recht lange gebraucht, sodass wir nach hinten raus zu wenig Zeit hatten, um noch etwas anständiges zu essen. Der dritte Stop war dann in einem Pralinenladen und der letzte ein Café zum Bier trinken. Es war also relativ wenig Essen bei der Tour und das letzte Café wirkte eher zufällig gewählt. Laut Beschreibung hätte es 6x Essen/Trinken geben sollen. Wir sind aber somit nur auf 4 Stops gekommen. Wir kennen das so anders von anderen Foodtouren, vor allem für diesen Preis.Gut, aber zu wenig Foodstops

Roxane hat sich super nach den Bedürfnissen der Gruppe gerichtet. Wollen die mehr weniger, kürzer ..oder noch was anderes wissen. Geschichtliche zusammenhänge wurden witzig in Anektoten verpackt und verknüpft mit was wir schon gesehen hatten -so merkt man sich wirklich was. Wir werden Sie jedenfalls weiter empfehlen- wir haben Sie als Private Führerin genommen, und das war super!!!Wirklich großartig & lustig!

Claudia is very personable and very knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and culture of Vienna. She led us through the highlights of the city and hidden areas for walking and traversing the town that only locals would know. Roxane gave us a wonderful introduction to Vienna. This was our first experience with a personal/local tour guide and I don’t think we will be able to go back to group tours after! As this was our first time in Vienna, we chose a City Kickstart tour through Withlocals to get an overview and introduction of what to see. Our local guide, Roxana was amazing! In addition to her bubbly warm personality, she was a wealth of knowledge. In the relatively short time together, we learned more about the history, art, culture and unique aspects we never would have picked up in a large group tour or reading a visitors' guide. Doing this on foot was fanastic as we saw so much and knew exactly where we wanted to return to to spend more time and tour inside. Roxane amazed us with her depth of understanding the history: good, bad and quirky facts that were fascinating to listen to. Selin gave us a lovely mixture of history and food tastings that introduced us to Vienna beautifully. Our meeting point was not clear, however, so it was frustrating to be waiting for over half an hour in different places around the cathedral, both too worried about moving to look for each other! I suggest giving better instructions or even posting a photo of where to meet, telling clients what you will be wearing..the crowds at the Cathedral made it difficult! We were glad Selin didn't give up on us when our phones were not working and we eventually connected via email. A great tour, very personable and some great food! Laye start, but a good tour.

We only had one day in Vienna and really felt Claudia-Marie was the best fit for us. She worked around her schedule so we could have a 3-hour city tour with her. She was so knowledgeable, but also mixed in a lot of stories with the facts which made it so much more pleasurable and memorable. Even though it was a city tour, we stopped in a famous place and got a pastry and had an opportunity to sit and get out of the cold as well as an amazing wine bar with a cellar! Claudia-Marie helped us look for unique gifts as we walked as well. With her archeology background, she was able to add another dimension to the history and architecture. Our tour with Selin was fantastic! She has deep knowledge of the culture and the history of Vienna and gave us a fantastic introduction to the city through her story telling. We learned a lot about Vienna and Vienna’s history while enjoying extraordinairy local (vegetarian) food at the best local places. Our teenagers also enjoyed the tour very much.
