We had a fantastic experience with Dulshan as our tour guide. From the very beginning, his hospitality and service stood out, he made us feel completely comfortable and genuinely welcome throughout the trip. Dulshan provided detailed and engaging explanations about Sri Lanka’s history, culture, and religion, which added so much depth and meaning to the places we visited. He went the extra mile by treating us to some local delights like king coconut, delicious rolls, and sweet treats from a nearby bakery such a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more authentic. What we truly appreciated was how flexible he was, he asked if we wanted to explore any other specific places outside of the usual tourist route, and made every effort to accommodate our interests. We had a wonderful time exploring Colombo with Dulshan. He is a very charming guy that is a pleasure to hang out with. We had lot of fun while we explored some of his local favorites. He has every broad knowledge of Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan food and is very eager to share it. We explored the general market and snacked on casave chips, local tea, coconuts, samosas and more on the way. We went on to a fruit and fish market where there where only locals and had a very tasty mutton roll in the Nippon hotel (again only locals there). Overall we hat a wonderful time! Wow! Exceptional! Heartwarming! Dulshan is not your regular tour guide, but he is a guide with heart, and true love for wanting to show the beauty of Sri Lanka and he became a friend. Dulshan was there to customize, make pit stops, answer our 1001 questions and even go out his way for everything we wanted. We wanted him with us wherever we went cos that's how he made us feel, like family and really good company. He went above and beyond with everything and gave me a morning surprise of balloons, cake, deco and a personalised picture of me and my family as a birthday gift and I am truly appreciate and grateful for. We couldn't recommend Dulshan enough! He made our trip to Columbo. He's kind, speaks brilliant English and really cares about his job. Dulshan ist mehr als nur ein Guide - er ist ein guter Freund, der unseren Urlaub wirklich sehr bereichert hat! Er ist der netteste und herzlichste Mensch den wir auf unserer Rundreise durch Sri Lanka kennenlernen durften! Wir haben seine humorvolle und unterhaltsame Art sehr geschätzt. Als wir noch in Deutschland waren hat er sich schon um all unsere Anliegen gekümmert - er hat uns bereits Zugtickets gekauft für die Reise nach Ella und war bei der Routenplanung immer offen und ehrlich. Auf unserem Flug ging leider unser Gepäck verloren - auch hier hat uns Dulshan sehr geholfen, indem er mehrmals täglich beim Flughafen angerufen hat. Letztendlich hatten wir unser Gepäck schon nach 3 Tagen wieder. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass er uns nicht zu überlaufenen Touristenspots gefahren hat sondern uns die einheimische Kultur näher gebracht hat. In diesem Zusammenhang ist auch zu erwähnen, dass wir dank Dulshan einige kulinarische Highlights erleben durften, die wir alleine niemals gefunden hätten. Wir hatten wirklich ein Rundum-Sorglos Paket mit ihm - er hat uns sogar spät abends nochmal in der Unterkunft abgeholt und uns ins Restaurant gefahren, da es geregnet hat. Er war wirklich Tag und Nacht für uns erreichbar, immer sehr zuvorkommend und stets pünktlich! Mit Dulshan hat man nicht nur einen super Guide an seiner Seite, sondern auch einen sehr talentierten Fotografen - dank ihm haben wir jede Menge tolle Erinnerungsfotos. Außerdem hat er alle Touren für uns organisiert und das stets zu einem günstigeren Preis wie andere Anbieter. Neben der wunderschönen Insel Sri Lanka durften wir auch noch seine Familie kennenlernen - auch das war ein absolutes Highlight unserer Reise! Wir haben uns während unserer Rundreise sehr wohl gefühlt mit ihm und freuen uns ihn bei unserem nächsten Urlaub wiederzusehen! Dulshan is a very jovial and knowledgeable guide. He was very punctual on the pick up time and very accommodating on my requests. As I’ve been to Colombo a few times and have taken some tours before, he had to change some of his original itinerary so that I won’t see the same things again. I’ve had food that I didn’t have on previous tours, went to places that the other tours didn’t being me and most important of all, I got to see the culture and went to places that the locals frequent for their meals. He also brought me to a spot I walked past numerous times and many tours brought me pass it but non of them ever told me that the last king of Sri Lanka was imprisoned there. I had an amazing solo 7 day tour around Sri Lanka with Dulshan. From the beginning when I contact him requesting a tour guide, he was very helpful and we kept in touch until the start of my trip. He was a perfect host, so nice guy, friendly, enthusiastic and shared so much knowledge about Sri Lanka culture and history. I had already been to Buddhist culture countries, but for the first time I was able to better understand this religion. Besides having guided me through the cultural sites and monuments, he introduced me delicious foods in local and family restaurants. We created our trip with the help of Dulshan and it was amazing, we did the best plans in Sri Lanka, meeting local people and going to fantastic places all over the island. Special mention to our magnificient driver and guide Nilantha, apart of being a friend of us at the end of the trip, he helped us and brought us during all the trip and was really kind with us. He was a really good driver and had all the fuel prepared, but also he was really nice and helpfull. If you go to Sri Lanka and look for a driver, you definitely want Nilantha as your driver and Dulhsan as your trip manager.Wonderfull

I decided to visit Sri Lanka for just a day due to changes in my Europe itinerary and had expected a full day city tour of Colombo at best. However, the itinerary arranged by Dulshan completely exceeded my expectations. From my first message to him requesting a customized itinerary, he was helpful, responsive, and demonstrated a strong commitment to making my day in Sri Lanka both fulfilling and logistically feasible. Dulshan fetched me from the airport to the hotel, brought me for the Covid test I needed for my flight back the next morning, and took me for a Colombo city tour before we headed to the Madu River for a river safari and Galle to catch the sunset and tour Galle Fort. A great conversationalist, Dulshan enthusiastically engaged me in discussing Sri Lankan culture, cuisine, language, life and geography (among other things) along the way. The day ended with a delicious meal of Biriyani at a local restaurant in Galle recommended by Dulshan, and a 2.5 hour journey back to the airport. I was dropped off with just the right amount of time to spare to chill at the lounge before my flight, my heart full, and my head filled with fond memories of Sri Lanka. I will certainly visit Sri Lanka again, and have no doubt that Dulshan will be the guide I look for. Dulshan was the perfect host! My family and I all joined Dulshan to prepare and cook a Sri Lankan curry. Dulshan was full of energy and enthusiasm as he told us all about Sri Lanka which gave a wonderful context for the food we were about to prepare. As we prepared and cooked the food, Dulshan was engaging and fun, making everyone feel at ease. The instructions were made easy to follow and Dulshan gave guidance to manage the spice levels for each individual. The food was delicious. Overall, it was a fabulous cookery course. I had such fun! We did the chicken curry cooking experience with Dulshan and absolutely loved it! Dulshan is a great host, from setting up the event, to making us feel welcome in his kitchen, and teaching us about Sri Lanka, he is a real joy! My family did a group cooking class together as a Christmas present to my mom. Dulshan made our evening so fun, enjoyable, and tasty. He had us laughing and smiling throughout the entire class. In addition to teaching us how to make delicious chicken curry, he shared wonderful fun facts about Sri Lanka’s history, culture, and cuisine with us. Dulshan really took an interest in our family and our goals for the class. He remembered anecdotes I had shared weeks before when I first booked the class and he was just a joy to be with. He also customized his cooking instructions to our personal spice comfort levels and stovetop heating options across three different states and at 4am his time. Can’t recommend him highly enough! Our evening with Dulshan was amazing! Dulshan was warm, welcoming and a great chef! Not only did he teach us a wonderful and delicious recipe but he shared the history of Sri Lanka, which made eating the dish afterward all the more special. Dulshan was patient, funny and a wiz with technology. He had 2 cameras set up so that we could see the normal view and close ups of the food, which helped us follow his instructions perfectly. A small group of us met virtually in Dulshan's kitchen, as a chance to meet across London, Kent and Sydney. It worked perfectly as a way to prepare lunch/dinner (UK/Australia), and we learnt about Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan food along the way. Dulshan was lovely, attending to each of us, checking on how our food was coming along. And the dishes we made were really delicious and straightforward. Highly recommend!Delicious

Dulshan does an amazing job of teaching Sri Lankan cooking. He sent the ingredient list beforehand so I could have everything ready beforehand. This is my second time with him, the first we did chicken curry and potato curry. This time we did shrimp curry and potato roti. His English is excellent and his directions are easy to follow. He waits for me to catch up to him and answers all my questions. I highly recommend this experience. Fun and I learned a lot

I spent an evening with my 2 daughters , the three of us in our own kitchens cooking with Dulshan and his wife in Colombo. Dulshan's English is excellent and his instructions very clear. He was very generous with his time and we spent a very entertaining couple of hours. The recipes were delicious and we were inspired to try some more Sri Lankan dishes. Strongly recommended. I have already passed on the information to a number of friends.A great idea

We had a great time making so many different foods with Dulshan and Madu. They are lovely hosts and carefully watch us to make sure we don't make any mistakes. They are like family now! Fun and delicious!

We cooked a chicken curry and a lentil curry with Dulshan and his wife. My goodness - It was fantastic and it brought back so many good memories of Sri Lankan food I have from a trip we took this past February. Can't wait to cook some more with them!Nom nom noooooommmmmmm

I was gifted an experience of cooking with Dulshan to make curries. What a wonderful guy who is patient and and a real people person. Despite our technical issues to begin with he set up a Zoom meeting to make it easier to connect. My 11 year old Son cooked with me and he engaged him right from the start - encouraging and praising his efforts. Dulshan made a huge effort to set the pace just right with lots of opportunities just to chat and find out about his country. We loved this and would 100% recommend this experience. The food we made was delicious. An experience to remember and talk about. A great guy who obviously loves what he does. Thanks Dulshan it was great cooking with you, laugh when we burnt our tea towel and chat about cricket.Fantastic experience with Dulshan

We had such a wonderful experience with Dhulsan and his wife. All 3 kids had their first hands-on cooking experience virtually and it worked out perfectly well. We were running out of ideas on what to do during quarantine life and this came at the right time. Easy to follow recipes, clear instructions and amazing authentic Sri Lankan food... looking forward to our next session!Great family activity
