Laura was great! She was very empathetic with our daughter and she kept her engaged through the whole walk by sharing stories and fun facts. Our daughter enjoyed a lot the questions Laura asked, and the honey candies from her home town. We enjoyed a lot what Laura told us about her field of research: women in 15-16th century. We feel we visited places and learnt things nobody else could have told us!Amazing!

I booked Laura for two walking tours -- one through Seville and another through the Alcazar. I was traveling with my 9 year old granddaughter who knew very little Spanish history. It was in fact her first visit to Spain. We'd traveled to other countries in past years and I always found local guides (for example in Venice and in Athens) to be very helpful. But Laura is a whole other level of wonderfulness. Yes, she is knowledgeable. Yes, she knows details you could not possibly discover on your own. Yes, she loves Seville and knows it from all her years growing up in the city. And she is genuine and cheerful. But what really put her over the top is that she has enormous sensitivity to children and their needs, attitudes, quirks, personalities. She works with disadvantaged children so I suppose it's no surprise, but I think, too, it's just her personality -- Laura is a caring, wonderful person. I am, of course, almost twice her age, and yet I honestly felt that Laura was our friend during these walks. She cared about us and she shared stories of her own life when appropriate, so we felt a real connection. My granddaughter totally agrees -- Laura was just fantastic. We absolutely loved her!Laura is absolutely the best!

Laura, Laura, Laura, oh how we miss thee! Here we are, 20 days after our fabulous experience with Laura and our family still talks about her. We were soooooo fortunate to have Laura as our guide for the beautiful city of Seville. Laura is everything you want in a tour guide, and then some. She is clearly superbly educated and knowledgeable, which makes her a treasure trove of information. She is engaging, she is funny, she is charming, she is patient, she is understanding... she is a GEM! With her, we discovered so many hidden treasures of Seville, along with the traditional "must see". She brought all the sites to life with her impeccable knowledge and lively demeanor. Cecilia was the best treasure that we found in Seville! We are a family with 3 kids (7,8,10 years), very active and curious! We had an entire day tour starting from the historical part in the center and finishing with a tapas tour and a discovery of the Market. The kids loved Cecilia and followed her everywhere, she was a star in engaging them in all sort of stories and experiences. We enjoyed a Family Walking Tour and Tapas Tasting with Cecilia around Seville. She was a very knowledgeable guide and had organised a kahoot quiz for the children, who were 10 and 13. Cecilia was very flexible about changing the times when our arrival was delayed. We went to some really interesting venues and ate some delicious Tapas. Had an amazing tour with Alba in Seville. She kept our boys entertained the whole time (not an easy task), and at the same time imparted her extensive knowledge of the city. Alba delivered as advertised! When we met at the meeting point, it was a common spot for tour groups to meet. My family and I were very happy to be on a private tour with someone as knowledgeable as Alba vs. being on a large group tour. Some tourists even came up to her asking if she was their guide because she sounded so knowledgeable. My wife and I came with our 2 kids who were 3 and 6 and Alba kept them engaged, especially the 6 year old. I highly recommend Alba as a guide when you’re in Sevilla. You won’t be disappointed! On our very first morning in Sevilla and our first morning in Spain we met Alba and she gave us a lovely introduction to Sevilla. We had a wonderful time walking with her and learning about the history of our surroundings. We have two boys, ages 10 & 14, and this set the foundation for our entire trip to Spain. They began to understand that we were in a place with a layered & rich history. A week later we toured Granada - they exclaimed several times “this is the king Alba was taking about” or “these are the orange trees Alba was talking about in Sevilla!” It also was fun to start our trip meeting a friendly local. We really enjoyed our tour of Seville! Alba was engaging and personable. She got the kids involved and kept them interested. She had a lot of knowledge about the city. We needed to reschedule once and she was easy to work with on that. There was a procession in the city the morning we rescheduled and she re-worked our tour to avoid the huge crowds which was wonderful! My 8 year old daughter and I had a great time learning about the city with Alba. She arrived early to the meeting point, was super friendly, and has impressively good English. Es war so interessant! Wir sind eine kleine Familie und unser 2 Jähriger läuft noch nicht so viel und hatte auch mit den 34 Grad in Sevilla zu kämpfen. Kein Problem für unseren Giude Alba. Wir haben alles ganz langsam gemacht. Sie hat dabei geholfen, zwischendurch einen Wickelplatz zu finden, ein Eis für den Kurzen spendiert, Spiele/Rätsel dabei gehabt und war sehr freundlich. Informationen gab es reichlich, so dass wir uns jetzt fast wie Insider in Sevilla fühlen. Es gibt soooo viel über diese Stadt zu erzählen und zu entdecken. Ohne unseren Guide hätten wir viele Infos niemals bekommen. Wir empfehlen diese private und individuelle Tour daher mit Nachdruck. Perfekt für Familien

Alba's overview during our walk through the old part of Seville was focused on the history and mythology of the city. She also gave us some idea about the people, customs and lifestyle in current day Seville. She tried to engage our daughter with a multiple choice "quiz" book that appealed to my daughter's competitive spirit as it ended with a visit to a local bakery. Alba pointed out places and things we would have walked by otherwise, such as ancient Roman columns, and put everything in a good context for us. After the tour, when we were on our own in the Alcazar gardens, we came upon a monument behind which Alba had told us the history during our tour...We were happily surprised that in all the large garden area, we had been able to see it and know its significance. Following the tour, Alba kindly emailed a list of suggested things for us to do that we had asked her about, including a great recommendation for an authentic flamenco show. We were grateful to have her "insider" suggestions following our tour.Historical walk through Sevilla
