We had a wonderful tour with Katerina. She is very knowledgeable about Porto and was very accommodating of our children ages 9 and 6, making sure to include them. This was the prefect choice for us and we were very happy to have booked this tour, we saw and learned so much more than if we had been on our own. She even found a unicorn for my daughter! If you are in Porto with your children we definitely recommend having Katerina show you around.💯 recommend

We had an excellent tour with Katerina. We were not too familiar with Porto and so wanted someone knowledgeable to show us around and we definitely chose the correct person! We have two 5 year olds who are decent walkers but don't always last too long and she did a great job interesting them when appropriate and letting them do their own thing as well. She was totally flexible in doing what was right for our family and we really felt that this was the right way for us to see the city and get to know new places when we were only going to be in town for a few days. We just loved it and could not recommend her more!Wonderful tour!

Our walking tour with Katerina was fantastic! In addition to being entertaining and very informative, she planned the tour in a way that walking was always downhill ( not an easy feat in Porto!) and totally doable for kids and person after ankle surgery in our group. Katerina is also very personable and informal, and has lots of local suggestions. Highly recommend! Fantastic tour

There’s no better way to kick off a trip with kids in Porto than having Katerina to show you around and ignite interest in the city for the kids. My boys (2 & 4) warmed to her immediately. The 4 year old happily held her hand walking and this made all the difference in keeping him moving for 3 hours. Our umbrella stroller was great to have for our 2 year old. We learned much about the history of Porto and she left us with lots of ideas on how to spend the remainder of our stay. As a mom herself, she knew what would be best for the kids. Katerina could not have been a better, more patient guide. We are traveling with our 2 year old son- and she was so willing to pause, stop, reconfigure the tour- even push the carriage at times- … I can’t even describe how happy we were with our tour. She took us all over Porto but in a very manageable way. We stopped for a gelato, enjoyed the views, learned so much. Through it all, our son had his moments and Katerina happily dealt with us all! Katerina provided us with a terrific tour. Her tours were accurately described as child friendly. The pace of the tour was perfect and she was a wealth of knowledge. She can be easily heard and speaks very precise English. My two year old took to her right away and of course loved the Gelato stop. It was a great walking tour if you want to learn about and experience authentic Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Katerina gave us a wonderful in depth tour of all the highlights Porto has to offer. The tour was well planned and very informative. From interesting stories about the multitude of historic churches to the history of tiles and their importance in the day to day lives of the local people, there was another story to be found around each corner of the city. The view from the Porto Cathedral viewpoint, the Cathedral courtyard history and the stroll through the neighborhood leading to the Ribiera District was a wonderful highlight to the end of the tour. We had the best experience with Katerina on our 3 hour walking tour of Porto. We saw all of the top sites and many hidden gems. We had the most fabulous time with Katerina. We had been in Porto for a few days but Katerina brought to life monuments and sites we had just walked past with wonderful stories and history. She also took us to some back streets and was remarkably knowledgeable about the architecture and history of different streets and areas. At the end of the tour, which was perfectly paced, she directed us to a lunch place near the river which had delicious local food. Katerina (Kate) was not only enjoyable and knowledgeable but also extremely accommodating after our early flight from Lisbon to Porto was canceled. She adjusted our meeting time so we were able to catch a later flight and still do the walking tour of Porto, and since we were hungry, she took us first to grab a delicious small sandwich at a nearby shop and chat before we started the tour. We saw many of the main sights in Porto while Kate entertained us with historical information and intriguing stories about various places and people. Katerina was a phenomenal tour guide in Porto! She brought us to so many fascinating places and her knowledge of history, art, restaurants, and every aspect of Porto was awe-unspiring. Deftly leading us through the busy streets from neighborhood to neighborhood, pointing out important sights, and stopping at her favorites, Katerina exuded enthusiasm and pride in her adopted city. Among the best were the Portuguese tile library, the Pasteis de Nata at Manteigaria, and the discovery of so many charming neighborhoods we would have missed if it weren't for her tour. She also made sure we had many ideas for the rest of the week. We gladly followed her advice to take the tram ride along the coast early the next morning, then visited the Crystal Palace gardens, the photography museum, and the TimeOut market for an amazing dinner. Katerina was a phenomenal tour guide! She was able to pack a lot of facts and sights to see in during our time together. She is flexible to accommodating people if they come with sights they'd like to see and have her speak/take them to those places. My partner and I did not come with a list, and just went with the flow on where she was going to take us.
