We were with my 80 year old parents, and weren't sure that a three hour tour would work for us. Tom shortened and customized the tour for us. and we had a lot of fun! He checked in with us during the tour to make sure my parents were doing ok. We had such a fun time with Tom. Seeing London lit up at night was a treat. Tom shared the photos he took at the end of the tour for us. He also made sure to show as the inspiration for Diagon Alley and the Tardis. I would highly recommend this tour for Doctor Who fans. You might want to brush up on all forms of Doctor Who. Tom was just fabulous. He spent over 4 hours with us seeing so much of London. He had tons of great Doctor Who sites and facts, but also filled in the spaces between with London history, little known facts, and more. Our son had a great time. Our family signed up for the Doctor Who tour with Tom and got more than we signed up for! Over the 3-4 hours together, Tom led us through history (both London and The Who-niverse) and introduced us to new parts of town that we hadn’t explored yet. Our 9-year-old wished he could have spent the rest of the day with Tom and we all left the tour feeling like we’d made a new friend. We will look for other tour opportunties with Tom next time we’re in London. WHO knows what we’ll learn next time from Tom?? Tom introduced us to the Who-niverse!!!

Tom was amazing in his knowledge not only of Dr Who series and the various London landmarks used in the series over the years, but also the writers, storylines, characters etc. He specially designed a full day tour and went out of his way by meeting us at our hotel and getting us set up to use the public transport to take some of the time and walking out of the day (we're a bit older and less fit than we'd like). While his Dr Who knowledge is incredible, Tom also has great knowledge of broader London history and interspersed stories of the great fire, the WW2 events, the old city walls/gates, architecture and some of the iconic people and buildings. I thought I knew a lot about London but was surprised to learn lots of new info about the place and the people. Tom's banter was infectious and we found ourselves drawn in to debates about the Dr and actors/writers as well as plot lines. He was very careful to pace the tour and take breaks at significant locations with lots of photo opps along the way. Especially enjoyed the lunch at PieMinster and the look out at the Tate to get a feel for the ongoing development of the city and the different stages of architecture and how they all sit together in today's London. Tom also made sure that he adapted his usual tour route to get us back to our last point of interest stop just across the road from our hotel. A great day full of information and lots of fun. Oh and complimentary Jelly Babies!!Whovian dream+ London history thrown in!

Our family of four (with two teenagers - 19 and 14) spent three unforgettable hours with Tom during our first visit to London. Tom is an incredible storyteller and allows you to get to know London in an engaging and relatable way. He introduced us to key landmarks like Tower Bridge, House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben, and helped us orient ourselves on our first day in the city, so we could go back to some of his recommended spots. He also suggested a great pub circa 1663 near the area we stayed in and it was fantastic! Great food and ambience. Tom’s comment about London truly stuck with us - “London might not be the most beautiful city, but it’s definitely the most honest - as it’s not afraid to show the good, the bad and the ugly.” That really resonated - it’s truly such an eclectic city full of contrasts. Tom was great. He was very knowledgeable not only about the bands from the era - The Who, Beatles, Hendrix, Stones, Zeppelin and Bowie - but also about local history. He’s a talented storyteller, weaving together various anecdotes at each stop that made us feel like we were actually there at the time. He even kept my 17 year old daughter, who usually rolls her eyes at “my bands,” interested. As the official tour was wrapping up, he asked if we had time to take a cab ride to Abbey Road Studios. We readily agreed! After a few more great stories, he offered to take our picture walking over the famed Abbey Road crosswalk. He even had us do it again because we had an accidental photo bomber. We are a family of four with a 10 and 13 year old. We wanted Tom because of his storytelling description and we weren’t disappointed. Tom was fun and engaging and was full of stories and history which our kids ate up. We discussed tons of topics and he seemed to be able to answer or provide some insight to every topic. Travel delayed us and we joined Tome almost a half an hour tarty. He was gracious and creative. He tweaked the tour, changed the itinerary a bit and we covered all and more we had hoped for! Firstly, I must truly appreciate that Tom was ever so accommodating given we had messed up our train journey and were running quite late! He shared some charming insights into the history of the Royals, all with a dash of humor to keep us entertained all the while. The highlight of our tour was undoubtedly when we saw the King and Queen driving into and then again out of Buckingham Palace! Those moments specially were exhilarating. We booked Tom for both a Royals Tour and the Swinging Sixties Tour. A full day. Tom labels himself as the Storyteller. He is that and alot more. Tom makes it all come alive from Ian Fleming favorite bar, to the Beatles last concert sight, and to the first club Jimi Hendrix played in. Tom will take you there and then fill in the significance and make it come alive. Was such a fun day. Tom is attentive, warm and easy to connect with. We were a group of 9- 5 adults and 4 kids (ages 11, 11, 9 and 9). Tom took us around Westminster, Buckingham, and St. James Park for 3 hours with a stop at a cafe by our request. He was friendly, interesting, and very knowledgeable. At the end of the week, everyone agreed Tom's tour was our number 1 thing we did- even the 4 kids. Very worth the price!Great Experience!

Such a great tour. Tom led my mom, sister, and me on a super fun tour of the 60s music scene in London. My mom loved the Beatles trivia, and my sister and I enjoyed the David Bowie and Jimi Hendrix sites. Wandering through SOHO was super fun too. Highly recommend for a unique London experience! We had an unforgettable walking tour of London’s 60s rock history with our fantastic guide, Tom. His passion and deep knowledge of the era brought every stop to life, from legendary venues to tucked-away gems you’d never find on your own. We explored iconic locations like Ronnie Scott’s jazz club, the building where both Handel and Jimi Hendrix lived (talk about worlds colliding!), and the art store where Yoko Ono first met John Lennon. Standing outside the former Apple Records studio and visiting the home of Paul McCartney added even more depth and context to the stories of that revolutionary time. Of course, no rock history tour would be complete without Abbey Road—and yes, we walked across that famous crosswalk and visited the studio itself. It felt surreal retracing the footsteps of legends. His knowledge of The Who, Beatles, Hendrix, etc was fantastic and how it all collided within the streets and burrows of London. Be scampered through the posh areas, seeing Fabergé eggs selling for $1,000’s to an area where someone threw out Yonko’s art thinking it was trash. We booked Tom to give us a 2 hour walking tour of Soho as part of our work team day. Tom created a bespoke tour for us and was both knowledgable and entertaining throughout. Wir haben eine dreistündige Stadtführung mit Tom gemacht. Tom ist sehr angenehm und freundlich. We spent a wonderful morning with Tom exploring the hidden gems of London. Unfortunately, he was at a disadvantage (our fault) because his tour was our 4th in four days.
