This was a one to one night photography lesson. Pavel took time to ascertain how much I understood about my camera and spent a lot of time explaining some issues I had failed to understand. Based on this we set up the tripod and Pavel talked me through the aspects of using a long exposure. We spent about an hour experimenting with various shots, and Pavel explained why some worked and some were not so successful. I learned a lot during this session. Later we moved on to light painting and this was such fun. Pavel showed me various techniques using torches and flash units. The results were fascinating. I enjoyed the evening very much indeed and would recommend a lesson with Pavel to anybody interested in photography, next time they are in Prague. Pavel was an excellent teacher and he was such fun!

Pavel was very patient with me and offered explanations at the level of detail I would understand. In addition, he showed some fun ways to light paint. I would recommend him if you want to learn to be creative in your photography. Good photo teacher

Excellent experience, well worth the time and money invested on it. I am an experienced photographer but Pavel had so much to teach me, I learned many very useful techniques that surely will be used in the near future. Due to last minute changes I had to take my 12 y/o tweens with me for the the workshop. Pavel got them engaged since the very begining, showing them photo techniques they could apply. After dark he thought us “painting with light” , amazing technique, fun results we had a great evening in Prague that my kids (and I) will never forgetExcellent

Pavel is a patient and professional teacher who although not feeling well, still took us on a short walking tour around Prague to improve my knowledge of night photography and introduce me to the art of light painting in photography. It was great to get a professional tutorial and opinion on a few photos, and I think I have a better idea and understanding of what's required to take better photos consistently. Thanks Pavel for making the effort to spend a few hours with us. We're happy to have found Pavel and his great workshop. I booked the tour for my daughter who loves photography. Pavel turned down his level to hers and teached her the basics of lighting, focus and settings to achieve beautiful photos at dusk and night. She learnt a few tricks to paint with light and she and my son had a great time playing with the camera in different locations in the city. I felt like a kid in a candy store on this tour. Pavel got us so excited about what we could do with our camera settings to take full advantage of the night lights of Prague. What we achieved was so much fun. We played with the light and got so many interesting and beautiful images. These are some of the most artistic photographs I've taken. Pavel is a fantastic teacher.
