Nikolas was a fair tour guide. His knowledge was very good and his route was interesting. However my constructive comments are that after several discussions about the heat and sun, previous to the walk and during the walk, it wasn’t until I made it very clear that we need to stand in the shade during explanations, without further debate. He also walked very very very slowly at the beginning, reprimanding us to stay with him always, even though his pace was slow. And at nearing the last 25% telling us to pick up the pace or we won’t finish in time. As mentioned his knowledge was good but his delivery lacked any sense of humor and was a bit dry. Lastly, though also requested by texts, a restaurant for 10 of us, he did not disclose the location until the end of the tour. It was a 25 minute uber ride out of the centre, as he said it would not be touristy. We however had transportation to catch back in town after lunch (another 25 minute cab back in) and added 50 minute to our hotels for pick up. There just seemed to be a lack of maturity on understanding our needs. I am sure he will improve.Ok, could improve

A delicant mixture of history, architecture, culture and local food, all woven together by Yorgos astounding ability to tell stories. My little brother, not the type to be fascinated with anything but football was impressed by how much he enjoyed the tour. After the tour we all had a feeling we had gotten to know the city through a perspective that other tourists around us were not able to. We had the absolute pleasure of touring Athens with Ioannis, and we can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the start, Ioannis made us feel like we were spending the day with a good friend rather than a tour guide. Thomas took my travel group of 8 around Athens for half a day and everyone had a fabulous time. Thomas is engaging and knowledgeable. He first made sure that the rest of our stay in Athens was well scripted and made useful suggestions. Then we set off pounding the pavement and the time flew by in an instant. Between the historical background, the anecdotes, and the jokes, even the teenagers were engaged which happens approximately never. He catered expertly to the needs of our very needy group, including pit stops of different varieties. Great time; highly recommended!An expert with a great personality!

We would highly recommend Voula. Our group of 4 ladies booked a 5 hour walking/food tour with Voula and we are still talking about it today. Voula was so knowledgeable and personable . Guiding us around was like she was one of our friend group. After meeting for 9:00am we headed over for a mini tasting of a cheese pie and a milk cream pie. From there we explored the history of Athens. Lunch with so many tapas was incredible followed by an olive market sampling. We tried so many different olives. Off to see many different markets including the fish and meat market where Voula arranged a sampling of a Souvlaki a recipe from Northern Greece before heading off for desert of honey donuts and ice coffee. It was the most perfect tour we’ve had yet. Everywhere she took us the people were incredible. One VERY important thing to note, a lady in our group was celiac (very special diet because she also had food allergies) and Voula did an absolute incredible job to manage this. Our friend ate like a queen that day and she was so grateful for that experience. Thank you Voula for that. We highly recommend Voula……Voula thank you once again. It was a perfect day. Ioannis was incredible in his knowledge on just about everything Greek-mythology, ancient history, current history, art, food, music, architecture, and politics. We had a great two days with Thomas, and I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Athens. Our first day was a five hour walking tour of the city, and we had such a great time that a few days later we booked and went on a driving tour exploring the Athens Riviera and the Temple of Poseidon. Both days felt like spending time with a good friend. Thomas is extremely knowledgable about the city and its history, sharing stories and answering questions. He clearly loves what he does, and wants to ensure anyone booking an experience with him has a great time. On both days, he definitely showed us 'hidden gems' that we wouldn't have found by ourselves, which definitely added to the experience. We'd consider a trip back to Athens just to do more of Thomas' experiences! Excellent experience - highly recommend!

My husband, 8 year old son and I enjoyed a great morning in Athens with Makram. He tailored his stories to our son, who is very interested in Greek mythology, and did a good job of pacing our tour to keep our son interested and engaged. Our group had a great 10 Tastes of Athens tour with Makram! The food we sampled was delicious - the kritzini (breadsticks) were a revelation - and plentiful - we should have refrained from eating all day to fully enjoy all the tasty selections! I booked this a few weeks ago and asked for a private guided tour of Athens. I didn’t save my email text request but wanted a tour of the acropolis and places where Paul preached. I apparently chose the wrong tour which I found out toward the end…the guide was nice & knowledgeable of the areas we were shown, but I would not have chosen this tour had I known what it did not include. I think that the tour should have made it clear that we were NOT seeing any of the acropolis or where Paul preached. It should be in bold red letters on the website. The price I paid was not worth the money for this tour. I was very disappointed. We ended up walking to the entrance and doing the acropolis tour on our own along with the spot where Paul preached. We spent a day with Ioannis on the Cape Sounio & Temple of Poseidon Private Day Trip. What a treat! After picking us up at our hotel, Ioannis took us on a very scenic drive along the Greek coast to Cape Sunnio. The experience at the ruins of the Temple of Poseidon could not have been any different than the chaotic one we had the day before at the Acropolis. The Temple of Poseidon was just as spectacular in its own way, but without the crowds. But be prepared for the wind. It was fierce the day we went. Following our visit to the temple, Ioannis took us to a nearby village where we had a leisurely lunch and even dipped our toes in the Aegean Sea! We had a great time sitting and visiting with Ioannis. His knowledge of local history is remarkable and he really makes it come to life. This was one of the very best tours we have taken in Europe and I thougt it was a great value. I cannot recommend Ioannis highly enough. A great tour. An even greater guide. A Fantastic Day

Dionysis blew away all expectations for our food tour of Athens. He took us to local spots with top quality authentic Greek food. The amount of food for our party of 8 was plentiful and he kept asking if we'd like to order more. While walking between restaurants, Dionysis was a wealth of knowledge about the history of Athens. We also requested a stroll through Plaka, and he was happy to oblige.
