We were a group of 4 friends who wanted to learn about the history/culture of the Island and its people. Putu was the perfect guy for that. He was professional from the beginning,he was always available, flexible and exceptionally friendly. I Putu was the best guide! He picked us up on time and showed us the sights of Bali! He was so pleasant and fun! Very knowledgeable about everything Bali. His English was impeccable and so was his understanding of the language. The only drawback was the traffic!! It took hours to go just a few miles. Of course this was not his fault we just felt bad for him and all the driving. It made for a long day. BUT I would gladly spend the day with him again. He also arranged for one of his team members to transport us to the airport! All around great experience!Great Day with I Putu!

We asked Putu to tailor us a tour which did not involve sitting in traffic for too long. (We had read a lot about that in reviews of tours) Staying in Nusa Dua that limited him to less options however, he came up with the perfect tour for us and took us to some areas where the locals go and visit too. We ended at Melasti beach for a Kecak dance show which was fantastic to see and watched the sunset there. Much less crowded than Uluwatu which we did enjoy. Do watch out for the monkeys there at the temple. It was moments like this that made us glad we were with Putu. We saw two pairs of glasses stolen and destroyed and a lady had the scrunchie from her pony tail ripped out of her hair ! They would have got a phone too if Putu did not warn another tourist. Asides from all the wonderful things we saw Putu went to great lengths to explain the Balinese way of life, religion and culture. His English is perfect. Car clean and safe and he provided us with lots of cold water to drink too. Thank you ! You will be in safe hands with Putu!

We had an unforgettable day in Ubud with Budi as our guide. My wife and I were picked up from our hotel. Budi shared so much interesting information about the places we visited. We wanted to escape the usual tourist traps, and Budi knew exactly where to take us. We strolled through a peaceful monkey forest, visited the temple in his village, and indulged in some seriously tasty local dishes. We also got to explore a traditional Balinese home. Budi kept us entertained and informed all day, answering every quirky question we had about local life. It was an awesome day full of laughs and learning. June Sophia picked us up from our hotel, she and our driver were on time and very polite and pleasant. we travelled first to the stunning views of the rice fields, a beautiful area with a host of activities available to enhance the experience. we did the swing but decided against the tandem cycle across the gorge. great fun. a tasting of a very unusual coffee and teas followed before a temple visit to a beautiful temple. we finished the trip with visits to the silver and art museums which were interesting but we chose not to purchase any and were not pressurised by the sales staff. all in all an excellent day out in Bali. the traffic is a combination of chaotic and terrifying but our driver drove sensibly throughout the tour. would certainly use June Sophia again on other tours in the region. a great day out in Bali

We organised a day tour with I Putu Merta around the Ubud area. We sent him a message ahead of time letting him know what we were interested in, and what food we'd like to try. He was incredibly flexible, building an itinerary together with us. Whilst on the tour we mentioned we'd love to try some local fruits and he managed to fit in some durian tasting at the drop of a hat. I would say where Putu shines as a guide is at translating the complexities of local Balinese culture into simple terms for tourists to understand. Spent a great half day with DeNopi exploring a beautiful waterfall, local woodworkers, a small coffee plantation and a beautiful temple. Agung picked us up at port in Bali and drove us around for almost 8 hours, We saw local house and very interesting museum and temple. We had reasonably priced lunch with him at local restaurant which was great. He took us to art and batik shops which were very nice and where we had plenty of time to purchase items. Our „Full Coverage Bali City Tour“ with Agung was incredible. Agung was interested in our wishes and plans, so we started at the Rice Terraces, although this was a spontaneous idea.
