Saravarint was right where we expected her to be at the meeting point which she customised for us which was very helpful as this is our first time in Bangkok. We visited three temples and the outside of the Grand Palace and wandered through Chinatown. Not to forget the coconut ice cream stop. Artty was one of the best guides we ever had! He gave us a deep dive into Thai culture and heritage and we were able to see a lot of real local sites off the usual tourist tracks! Having real Thai lunch with the locals at a tiny restaurant, seeing a beautiful temple where locals pray and experiencing some traditional rituals. Our entire family of 5 loved Tuangtip and her kind nature - my son said he wanted to give her an 11 out of 10! The temples she chose for us were perfect for our first day in Bangkok, and she paced the half day tour so we could recoup in air conditioned spots and recharge so the kids and us got the most out of the attractions. We by far learned so much more with having her and her insights were very thoughtful and made us appreciate the culture we were learning about. She found us local snacks and a lunch spot to eat like a local which were delicious, and even went to help Me find a set of Thai pants I had been searching for while we ate lunch. Tony was a wonderful tour guide. He was knowledgeable and expert. His explanations of the temples, shrines and cultural nuances were clear and concise. He was also flexible as we asked him to take us to the Grand Palace rather than to an additional market and he obliged. Moddy was a wonderful guide. We did temple tours with her, and she was so knowledgeable about Buddhism and the history of the temples. She also couldn’t have been more accommodating. Akarin is highly knowledgeable (having a PHD in cultural history), fun (for adults and children), makes everything come to life, is extremely honest and helpful, and has impeccable English. We went to the Royal Palace and Wat Pho/the Reclining Buddha and he brought together vast knowledge, storytelling and entertainment - we then did a tour of the khlongs on a private longtail boat and he brought the various neighborhoods to life for us. The next day we went on a tour of trendy Tad Noi and Chinatown, were provided with more delightful history and stories in the Temple of the Golden Buddha and the temple of the princess of Compassion, amongst others, whilst milling through the streets and various markets, and stopping off at interesting and arty coffee shops, taken to high quality eateries and, for something different in the morning, did a tour on the Mon Island (Akarin arranged for the museum to be opened for us during the week, took us to make pottery, toured the island on electric motorbikes and gave us a fascinating insight into the Mon people and the island). Akarin was full of ideas of things to do and see and also very happy to listen to our preferences, was full of information about what to do on our other days and helped make sure we had value for money on purchases. This was not our first time in Bangkok but Akarin's integrity, friendliness, knowledge and sense of humour made it so special and memorable. We had a perfect tour with Moddy. We asked that the tour be modified a bit so we could have lunch and coffee as we toured. Moddy created an ideal tour for us touring some, having lunch in Chinatown, touring some more, then having coffee and finishing up at the reclining Buddha which was the highlight of our visit to Bangkok. Moddy is smart, energetic, and fun. We noticed other tourists struggling to figure out the metro, bathrooms, and best locations for photos: but with Moddy as our guide we had no struggles, only fun. Our guide Tony was a happy, kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable guide. He planned an exciting behind the scenes experience, and he was still open to our needs and limitations. We took off on an exciting boat taxi through the canals to our first destination. We experienced the behind the scenes of everyday life in Bangkok. These were views of life for the people, their humble homes, and way of life. The ticket taker on the boat scaled the outside ledge getting everyone's fares. We arrived at a couple of different places first was the reclining Buda. Tony had great understanding of the history and insight into how and why it was built. Things about the king of Thailand at the time it was built. detailed information regarding the paintings around the Buda, and I felt sorry for the crowds of people thronging to see it, because they weren't getting the inside information that Tony was providing us. Tony was kind, and helpful, getting us cokes when the heat was too much. He took us to a special place for lunch that included a picturesque view of another large temple area while we enjoyed great food and he shared about the water crafts on the river below and the temple beyond. The day was filled with so much information. Tony also took me to a place to shop for somethings I wanted to buy. He assisted in getting me a good price, and helped us at every turn. Tony has an excellent command of English ( as well as German he told us) he made every moment of our excursion delightful. One of the best things was riding the Tuk Tuk's. These were colorful golf cart type of taxi. We had been told not to use them because they may take advantage of you. The whole time I felt safe and secure with Tony, He looked out of all of our needs. I'm so glad we got to have that experience with him. What a wild ride! All day long. I am so glad I chose to use a local, and Tony is the best. Bangkok like I never imagined

Suda was so welcoming. She was so pleasant to talk to and yet informative about Bangkok and its history. She took our group to the Golden Buddah, Chinatown, Flower Market and another local temple. Some of our highlights: 1) She brought us to the market to have lunch. It was the best tom yum I ever tasted in my life. 2) She helped me interpret conversations when looking for something specific and coordinating with the private driver that we hired for the day. 3) She hailed us a tuktuk to convoy since we didnt fit so our group didnt separate. The day with Moddy was full of great experiences and new information about Bangkok, thai culture and history. We got a tour spezialized for us: some history and tempples, chinatown streets and street food experiences. Got good tips and hinta for rest of our holiday and took great photos and most important have so much fun!!!!Great and fun day Moddy

Tuangtip guided our group of four on a January weekday in Bangkok. Our plans to meet her at a subway exit were thwarted by the subway being shut down. A kindly Bangkok resident noticed our plight and helped us by actually riding the Skytrain withthus as we took an alternative route. Tuangtip demonstrated her flexibility by finding us after we arrived. Her tour was insightful and helped us understand the temple complexes and the statues of Buddha. She was attentive to our interests and answered questions with poise and solid information. Tuangtip even took photos of us and shared them on “WhatsApp” after completing the tour. She talked us onto a Tuktuk for a wonderful ride through some busy traffic. Her manner was gentle, kind and thoughtful. When we think of Bangkok we will always remember her. We can recommend her without reservation.Knowledgable, Flexible and Charming

Tuangtip guided our familj of four with two teenage boys. It was a very nice day, with a little bit of everything (temples, food market, China town, tuk tuk, and last but not least a long tail boat ride at the canals). The boys loved to see and feed the fish, turtles and follow the water lizards. Thank you for giving us an insight into Bangkoks must see sights! Good experience with local knowledge
