This was a great way to see HCMC and work out where we wanted to spend more time. Huyen was really proactive before the tour, getting in touch to see how we might want to personalise the tour and give us some useful tips for our stay. We opted for the 5 hour tour, which we thought might be hard for our kids but they loved it and really enjoyed meeting with Huyen. Huyen was very flexible during the tour, and we changed things as and when we decided where we wanted to spend a little more time. We really enjoyed our walking tour with Thien. We loved getting an insider view of HCMC and the local neighborhoods and history of the area. My wife and I spent 2 delightful days with Huyen Bui, the first getting an insider’s view of Ho Chi Minh City and then a day in the beautiful Mekong Delta. She tailored our tours to our preferences and after a very short period, seemed to really understand what we would find interesting. My wife and I are in Vietnam for the first time, only for 5 days. We were seeking a tour that would give us a good taste of HCM, insights into daily life, etc, that were different and more personal than the normal tours. We haven't worked with a guide before, we weren't sure what to expect, but it was exactly what we were after. Thien is very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about her home. Her English is "perfect", the places we went to interesting, and there is some flexibility to seek more depth in some areas and less in others. The places we went to would not have been accessible to us through other means. We did this tour on the first day of our staff and used it to help plan what we would do on the rest of the stay. It was an excellent choice for us.I would give more stars if I could...

We had the most wonderful morning with Thien. I would whole heartedly recommend her to be your tour guide. I was a mother travelling on my own with my 10 and 7 year old. My children were very jet lagged and hot. Thien was a diamond from the start, she got them interested in the tour and made them laugh. I asked for Thien to take us to some must see spots along with trying local Vietnamese food. Her mother was a chef, so she had some wonderful places to take us. She also gave us recommendations for later in the evening. The best Pho in HCM! My son is autistic and a very fussy eater, she was able to get him to try new things and even dropped him his favourite bao buns to the hotel. Such a kind soul. We visited Book Street, the Post Office, China Town, Saigon Flower markets to name a few. My children really enjoyed the tour because of Thien. I learnt so many interesting things about Ho Chi Minh City and felt very safe in Thien’s company. She’s a fountain of knowledge and felt like a friend right from the beginning. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will definitely book her again next time. Thanks so much Thien, we won’t forget you and your kindness. Thien went above and beyond!

We had a fantastic experience on the food trip in Ho Chi Minh City with our guide Hoàn. The communication via WhatsApp beforehand was superb, and we were able to share our preferences and wishes. Hoàn was very friendly and guided us through the city mostly via Taxi, sharing interesting facts about Vietnamese culture and history. We tried 6 out of 10 delicious dishes, but unfortunately, the 3-hour time frame was quite short, and we would have loved to try more. We had the best Banh Mi ever! Additionally, drinks were not included in the price, which wasn't entirely clear to us. Despite this, the experience was very enjoyable, and I would recommend the trip, as you learn a lot about the culture and life in Ho Chi Minh City. For two people, the price is a bit steep, but the quality of the guidance and the insights into local culture make it worthwhile. A cool Experience

We were lucky enough to book the Mekong Delta day trip with Thien and had the most amazing experience imaginable. Every aspect of the day exceeded our expectations. The itinerary is so thoughtfully designed, offering intimate and authentic encounters with local people. Our driver was excellent, and my wife, our 7-year-old son, and I felt completely safe and cared for throughout. Highlights included visiting a traditional river clay brick workshop — a sadly fading craft but fascinating insight into working life on the Mekong — coconut candy and rice wine tasting, live music, boat rides big and small, and watching the most wonderful women making rice paper rolls and weaving mats. Each stop provided a beautiful glimpse into village life. What truly set the day apart, though, was Thien herself. Her rapport with the local people is extraordinary, and it’s clear how highly they regard her. That warmth extends to her guests, and nothing feels gimmicky, touristy, or mass-produced, even when visiting more popular spots. Instead, every moment feels genuine because of the connections she’s built. Thien is bright, insightful, witty, and simply a joy to spend time with. Our food tour with Spring was one of the best we have done. When travelling we like to do a tasting tour in the city we are visiting and we can honestly say that this tour was amazing. We not only tasted so much tasty local food, we wandered down back alleys that as a tourist we would never see. We spent our last morning in Ho Chi Minh City on a walking tour with Thien and I am so glad we did. We have been on many tours over two weeks in Vietnam but no other guide had Thien’s depth of knowledge on Vietnam’s history nor her sense of humour and fun. Many thanks to Huyen for this well organized trip. Our transport van was high class and along the way we gathered some deep insights about vietnamese culture and the Mekong delta. As we arrived a private boat brought us deeper into the swamp where we really got that jungle cruise feeling. By walking, Huyen provided more information about the sourrounding nature and we got to ride a tuktuk with the local farmers and even a canu. At the final stage we could enjoy some of the fish and specialities of the local cuisne aside the river. Finally, on our way back we visited the Pagode and were provided with interesting information about buddhism and its development in vietnam. It was really breathtaking and we could even vitness a monks ceremony. We highly recommend this! Many thanks to Huyen for this very informative and funny trip. We were very fortunate to be guided by Spring through the streets and eats of Saigon today. We ventured through ‘shortcut’ alleyways we never would have tried, ate with locals and by the end of the tour we were able to cross those hectic roads like locals. Spring introduced us to a variety of dishes and fruits we had not tried before. All delicious. She was also very helpful, answering many questions and offering tips for the rest of our time in Vietnam. Would highly recommend. We had an amazing excellent tour with Huyen, she was very careful and kind and always making sure we were comfortable. During our walking tour with our daughter the pace was ideal and lots of interesting facts and infos were provided. The market and temple were definitely worth seeing !
