Julian is very friendly and knows a lot about the history of Spain and Madrid. Although 5 hours seems like a lot, it flew by with so much to see. He managed to make good use of the time including a nice tour of the Cathedral and the Crypts and the few, remaining ancient ruins. Julián was the most incredible tour guide of Madrid during my stay! He was kind, easy to talk to, and an expert on the history of the city. I learned so much more than I ever thought possible. As we talked and got to know each other, he customized my tour to highlight points of personal interest. We even jumped into a historic building tour after perusing Barrio de las Letras. We are so grateful for this time. Iker did an amazing job setting the context for the art over time, the societal expression, the significance of art pieces and a joy and fascination both for the artistic talent and artistic expression. We feel like we got so much from the tour. Even my teenager liked it and felt it was so much better going with him and really diving into some pieces vs going on our own and not understanding much. Iker is a heart filled person who is a joy to meet and gives insights into the Spanish culture. We visited the Palace the next day and it was cool how much of what he shared informed that visit also. A gift in art, history, love and life.

Egle was a wonderful tour guide. She took us around so many points of interest in Madrid. She sensed our pace and adjusted to how my family and boys walked. She shared some history of the places we went to,, took pictures of us, pointed out great places to eat for meals and tapas and churros with chocolate. At the end of the tour she walked us over to a restaurant that she recommended for the type of food we wanted to it. She even called ahead to make sure they can seat us. She has a great personality and we enjoyed chatting with her during our tour. She is a gem! I high recommend her! Wonderful tour!

We had a great time exploring Chueca and Justicia with Mateo. He showed us the neighborhood and gave us a lot of interesting information about the history, architecture and daily life of the places. We went into interesting shops (chocolate! magic!), looked into hidden courtyards and had great conversations about life, music and the people of this part of the city. I did 3 days of photo workshops with Julio - and I wish I could have done more. Julio arrived prepared with suggested itineraries for each session, including different locations and lighting scenarios as well as composition and technical exercises. He had reviewed my photography in advance to ensure the workshop would help me refine and improve my skills. His enthusiasm for photography, for the city of Madrid and even helping me practice Spanish made our 3 days fly by. His workshop also feels like a cultural and historical tour of Madrid as he familiarized me with this beautiful, lively city. It was such a pleasure spending time with him. Excellent private tour with Victor and my family. We stayed on the bike path along the river so it was safe and free of cars. Victor showed us many unique sites we would never have seen on our own, many of which were as amazing as the big ones you normally go to as a tourist. We did a 3-hour bike tour with Victor and truly enjoyed it. We took a very safe itinerary and could see parts of Madrid far from the main tourist areas, which is exactly what we wanted. We requested a relaxed informal guide for our first trip to Madrid having only arrived in the City two hours previously. Victor quickly assessed our requirements and personalities and provided a first class tour. We (spouses) had a 3-hour private tour with Victor, a native Madrileno, to learn very early Madrid history and about the existing historical buildings associated with it. He clearly is intellectually curious about these subjects and makes it a life priority to be an expert communicator concerning them. He provided an in-depth historical context for the many buildings we visited (outside only except for the crypt beneath the cathedral). He discussed not only the structure but the who, why, and how about each one. He knows many details that I doubt other guides would know. We felt like Víctor brought the entire historical center alive. Also, he seems to know everyone. We had what seemed to be spontaneous behind the scenes access to restaurants and another locations that added a completely unique and personal feel to our tour. Victor did all this with an understated, happy and easy-going personality that put us completely at ease. This tour was well worth the cost. Don’t hesitate to trust Victor to make your day. We were a group of 6 British adults who had been to Madrid before staying and visiting in central Madrid. Our time with Julian was a neighbourhood off the beaten track tour and it didn’t disappoint. Interesting buildings monuments churches best tapas bars and bakeries were all part of the tour! Julian was well informed providing excellent commentary throughout our tour. Victor met us at the appointed place and time and immediately set the tone of the tour as being fact-filled and widespread. My only nit-pick is that he spoke rapidly and sometimes it was challenging to keep up. HOWEVER, he gave us AN EXTRA HOUR of his time without even mentioning money or the fact that he was doing so. I was so involved that I didn't look at my watch and was startled to realize what he had done. Bottom line, I would love to have him as a guide again. Knowledgeable and Friendly Guide

Majo provided us with a great tour of the Prado! She conducted a tour that was chronological in order of the art, deftly moving us from gallery to gallery all over the museum. Her Art History knowledge and pointing out nuances and highlights of individual pieces provided us with a fascinating perspective on many famous Spanish artists, as well as life during those centuries.
