Julian is very friendly and knows a lot about the history of Spain and Madrid. Although 5 hours seems like a lot, it flew by with so much to see. He managed to make good use of the time including a nice tour of the Cathedral and the Crypts and the few, remaining ancient ruins. Julián was the most incredible tour guide of Madrid during my stay! He was kind, easy to talk to, and an expert on the history of the city. I learned so much more than I ever thought possible. As we talked and got to know each other, he customized my tour to highlight points of personal interest. We even jumped into a historic building tour after perusing Barrio de las Letras. Unbeknownst to me, he walked me through the city and led me all the way back to my hotel before parting ways. I happily recommend Julián as a tour guide and would book him again in an instant! Wir waren begeistert von der Tour. Our selected guide canceled at the very last minute and rebooked us with Victor. He talked too much and didn’t keep the tour flowing with walking and talking at the same time. We stopped at a pub but he didn’t allow someone in our group to order wine instead of beer. I also thought it was insensitive to yammer on about killing animals given that he was aware individuals in our group were vegetarian. Our least favorite tour

When we started the tour, Julio asked us what we would like to see. We specifically said that we wanted to get to know more about neighborhoods and interesting stories about Madrid , or locals perspective, but that we don’t like a lot of history. Well although where we rode was pretty, and it was a nice ride, all we heard at each stop was history. We were therefore disappointed.Wasnt what we expected…lots of history

Iker has an extraordinary gift for connection, whether it's connecting with our teens through humor and conversation, or revealing connections between the past and present. Yes, he knows his stuff, but he goes beyond just sharing facts into much more interesting territory. The Prado can be overwhelming and Majo did an excellent job of focusing on the most important pieces and the stories behind them. She was also good at engaging our two 12 year olds. We loved every minute of it. Our tour was at 5:00 p.m. which meant the museum was not too crowded. Excellent tour of the Prado with Majo

We have booked a tour of the Prado museum, and the surroundings. Victor has helped us better plan our tour long before we even got to Madrid, and his advice did not stop to Prado museum only. We are so grateful for this time. Iker did an amazing job setting the context for the art over time, the societal expression, the significance of art pieces and a joy and fascination both for the artistic talent and artistic expression. We feel like we got so much from the tour. Even my teenager liked it and felt it was so much better going with him and really diving into some pieces vs going on our own and not understanding much. Iker is a heart filled person who is a joy to meet and gives insights into the Spanish culture. We visited the Palace the next day and it was cool how much of what he shared informed that visit also. Egle was a wonderful tour guide. She took us around so many points of interest in Madrid. She sensed our pace and adjusted to how my family and boys walked. She shared some history of the places we went to,, took pictures of us, pointed out great places to eat for meals and tapas and churros with chocolate. At the end of the tour she walked us over to a restaurant that she recommended for the type of food we wanted to it. She even called ahead to make sure they can seat us. She has a great personality and we enjoyed chatting with her during our tour. She is a gem! I high recommend her! Wonderful tour!

We had a great time exploring Chueca and Justicia with Mateo. He showed us the neighborhood and gave us a lot of interesting information about the history, architecture and daily life of the places. We went into interesting shops (chocolate! magic!), looked into hidden courtyards and had great conversations about life, music and the people of this part of the city. I did 3 days of photo workshops with Julio - and I wish I could have done more. Julio arrived prepared with suggested itineraries for each session, including different locations and lighting scenarios as well as composition and technical exercises. He had reviewed my photography in advance to ensure the workshop would help me refine and improve my skills. His enthusiasm for photography, for the city of Madrid and even helping me practice Spanish made our 3 days fly by.
