Wear your comfortable walking shoes, bring water if it is a hot day, because you are going to see Everything! And you are going to learn more. Roxane is super nice, full of personality only overshadowed by her knowledge of the city, the history, the hidden gems, local eats, where to get the better than "the best" listed on the internet. Plus great advice on using public transportation. Multi lingual, great energy, even though we were her second tour of the day. Our five hour tour was a whirlwind of stories, and sites, while paying attention to logistics (bathroom breaks, time in the shade, and breaks for the older folks in the group to rest) She assisted in all communication and purchases with locals and vendors. When it is time to eat, just ask her where she would go...and then go there! We thought our time was over with her and then we asked if she would like to guide us through the Belvedere Museum, this leg could be a tour of it's own. She is a food expert, and as we found out, an art/architecture/cultural encyclopedia. Touring with Roxane is like touring with a local friend, and we now consider her our friend in Vienna. Thank you Roxane. So Happy!!! To have a tour with Roxane!

Our group of 4 really enjoyed our tour with Roxanne. We had fun, she was informative, and the pace was great. Her English is wonderful. She tailored the tour to our interests. She was flexible with changes, even during the tour. We had an ice cream break and threw in a library tour that was well worth it and one of the highlights. She timed it perfectly to get us to the opera house in time for our tour there. We all talked about the tour that evening and agreed it was the best one we've had so far in Europe. Thanks. Hiring Roxanne to show us around Vienna was a wonderful decision. Roxanne tailored our walking tour of Vienna to our family’s needs (some physical limitations). She also was very willing, accommodating, and flexible to find a driver that could drive us since we had someone on our tour with limited walking capabilities. She has a kind and friendly disposition, and wonderful knowledge of the history of Vienna. Susanne war sehr nett und hat uns tolle Lokale gezeigt und interessante Facts zu den Orten oder Wien erzählt. Die ersten beiden Stops waren auch super. Allerdings haben wir dann beim zweiten Stop recht lange gebraucht, sodass wir nach hinten raus zu wenig Zeit hatten, um noch etwas anständiges zu essen. Der dritte Stop war dann in einem Pralinenladen und der letzte ein Café zum Bier trinken. Es war also relativ wenig Essen bei der Tour und das letzte Café wirkte eher zufällig gewählt. Laut Beschreibung hätte es 6x Essen/Trinken geben sollen. Wir sind aber somit nur auf 4 Stops gekommen. Wir kennen das so anders von anderen Foodtouren, vor allem für diesen Preis.Gut, aber zu wenig Foodstops

Roxane hat sich super nach den Bedürfnissen der Gruppe gerichtet. Wollen die mehr weniger, kürzer ..oder noch was anderes wissen. Geschichtliche zusammenhänge wurden witzig in Anektoten verpackt und verknüpft mit was wir schon gesehen hatten -so merkt man sich wirklich was. As this was our first time in Vienna, we chose a City Kickstart tour through Withlocals to get an overview and introduction of what to see. Our local guide, Roxana was amazing! In addition to her bubbly warm personality, she was a wealth of knowledge. In the relatively short time together, we learned more about the history, art, culture and unique aspects we never would have picked up in a large group tour or reading a visitors' guide. A really great experience! Sandie can tell you a lot about Vienna as well as travelling to many other places. In terms of food, there is plenty to eat! It is a good mix of savory and sweet Austrian dishes. It is also a good introduction to the city's center -- this is a great thing to do on the first day of a stay in Vienna, as it will give you a good sense of both the city and the cuisine. Sandie is a wonderful vivacious Guide. She was knowledgeable & engaging. She picked me up at my hotel & as we walked she explained the history & significance of the buildings & monuments. Her tour was perfectly pitched for a first time visitor. My food experience was amazing. I so enjoyed my sandwiches @ Trezesniewski. We next went to Cafe Engländer where I enjoyed the best Vienna Schnizel & potato salad - the dressing was delicious. I enjoyed my first glass of Viennese wine - similar to Riesling. Desert was at Cafe Diglas & even though I was fit to burst I managed to enjoy the most delicious Apple Strudel Sandie was generous with her time & my tour ran until its natural conclusion. We only had one day in Vienna and really felt Claudia-Marie was the best fit for us. She worked around her schedule so we could have a 3-hour city tour with her. She was so knowledgeable, but also mixed in a lot of stories with the facts which made it so much more pleasurable and memorable. Even though it was a city tour, we stopped in a famous place and got a pastry and had an opportunity to sit and get out of the cold as well as an amazing wine bar with a cellar!
