We had a good time on our tour with Ellie. She was kind and the kids enjoyed the sticker scavenger hunt with the prize at the end and snack along the way. (Kids ages 2/5/7) we liked learning the history of gaudi. I know time is limited on the tour, but I wish we did go inside the Sagrada familia at the end of the tour or into one of the other structures.Gaudi walking tour

We loved having Ellie take us around Barcelona. We have three kids under 5, and she was excellent with them - lots of engagement at their level, and flexed when we needed to make an urgent potty stop. Ellie was amazing at keeping the smallies engaged and so enthusiastic with them. We big ones learned a lot too and a real lesson in discovering the details right in front of us and not just rushing on quickly. She didn’t overload the littlies with facts, but instead kept them looking for themes and motifs that were repeated. And they didn’t have to walk far and she knew toilet stops whenever necessary. Ellie is wonderful and has this tour perfected to a tee ! It was my first trip to Barcelona with my boys age 8 and 9. She managed to engage them all the way through and also kept it super interesting for me in the process too . Appreciated all the extra hints and tips too ! Fabulous tour !

Ellie’s treasure hunt tour for families was great. She kept our 8 year old son engaged and entertained throughout - he even earned a small trinket to remember the tour. Would definitely recommend Ellie and this tour for families.

We had a private tour with Ellie and our 3 children (ages 9, 7 and 5). Ellie was engaging from the moment we met her. The kids (and us adults) were informed of the history of Gaudi buildings, Catalonian history and culture by way of a treasure hunt. The kids were given stickers to mark landmarks on a sheet of paper. We walked to the subway and caught the tube to La Segrada Familia and learnt the history of the building. We tried chocolate and marroqui samples (the hot chocolate is next level!). At the end of the tour, the children counted their stickers and received a small prize. We said our goodbyes and made our way into the Segrada. This was a great tour for both kids and adults alike! Ellie was very nice and kept the kids interested. My husband and I learned a few things along the way too. She had stickers, a few lollipops, found us some samples of chocolates, and had a little prize for the kids at the end! Very happy with our experience and just a nice person to give advice about the city of Barcelona :) Fun, engaging for kids and adults!

A kids tour is secretly a great way for us adults to learn interesting things about stuff we wouldn't necessarily see. Ellie was great and very personable. We all had a great time! Our only feedback would be that the sheets the kids used were a little grubby, and the photos on the ipad were not ideal to view in bright sunshine, and perhaps could be updated to less blurred versions.Great tour for kids and adults!

Our kids are 4 and 6 and really enjoyed the tour. It was a great informational activity for their age group and they really participated in the questions and learning. Ellie is great with kids and I would recommend it for families with kids that 4 or older. You should probably have a snack/drink ready for them, although we purchased them while on the tour. The kids are walking/standing most of the time with a couple of places to sit. There is a nice kids park on one side of sagrada Familia and I highly recommend to get entry tickets ahead of time.Great activity for kids

We had a great time with Ellie on our tour of Barcelona. She was well engaged with our two children, encouraged them to participate, and answered all our questions. She was cognizant of the age range of our children, and paced the tour appropriately! It was great to enjoy a tour with someone who was truly local - the experience felt so much more genuine than a normal tour and we really appreciated it. We had been traveling for almost two weeks by the time we had this tour. Our 9 year old daughter and 6 year old son were exhausted and had some serious museum fatigue, and I was nervous about their ability to spend 3 hours learning about Gaudi. However, it couldn't have gone better. Ellie kept our kids fully-engaged with a scavenger hunt, and our family of four was able to enjoy the architecture way more than if we hadn't had Ellie there to explain it all. We did a scavenger hunt kids tour with Ellie and it was amazing! Our 7 year old was impressed, listened very attentively and asked lots of questions. Our 5 year old wasn't too much into Gaudi architecture but loved the fun format of the tour (there were stickers for every thing kids found in the scavenger hunt). We had a FANTASTIC time with Ellie on our Gaudie Tour through Barcelona. The treasure hunt was PERFECT for my daughters (7&8 years old) and it made the morning go by fast! Our experience with Ellie was our first in Barcelona and we're so glad we booked it. Ellie was wonderful and our girls (7 and 5 y/o) enjoyed the treasure hunt (especially the stickers!). My family and I did the Guadi treasure hunt with Ellie. It was a really brilliant tour which I highly recommend. Ellie was incredibly knowledgeable and imparted a lot of fascinating information about the architectural treasures in Barcelona in a way that was accessible to both adults and children alike. Ellie was very good with children and was a calm presence in a busy part of town - having a clear focus on what information she wanted to impart and also what tasks she wanted to set the children at each location. The treasure hunt part of the tour really kept the children occupied and they also found it a lot of fun. They wanted to do more tours like it. Ellie was also very easy company - as with all the with locals I hired very easy to talk to and a real people person. All in all I recommend this tour very highly.A great tour

Ellie was a wonderful guide. She had surprising little tricks up her sleeve that we never would have known about without her, such as a way to view the back of Casa Batllo. My 77 year old mother-in-law was with us, as well as my daughter who just turned 7 and Ellie managed to make the tour interesting for all ages. She kept our young daughter engaged and enthusiastic the entire time. We learned not only about Gaudi but also some Spanish and Catalan history and cultural facts. We booked a walking tour with Ellie pretty late the night before we wanted to meet with her for a tour. We sent her a couple of questions about the tour and was hoping she'd see the questions before we planned out the day prior to our meeting. She contacted us promptly the next morning, answered the questions and set up the meeting. She was very vigilant in making sure we were all together, had great, up-front views of the buildings, and were protected from some of the distractions around the city. Not only was her tour of Gaudi's architectures very in-depth but the way she weaved the back stories lent life and character to his works. Rather than seeing just a building, we saw Gaudi's emotion, dreams, and his reality in the works of art. After this tour, I have a much greater appreciation for Gaudi's work and life's work. Ellie was great in making sure all of our teen and pre-teenagers were included in the tour and could see what she was describing. Her knowledge of city of Barcelona, the Catalan culture, the rich history was remarkable and her unique point of view was refreshing. She took a genuine interest in our background so as to better be able to relate Gaudi's story in a way that we could better relate and understand. I would highly recommend a tour with Ellie. She has an admirable passion for her trade and is a library of wonderful knowledge. My only wish was that I could stay in Barcelona longer so that I could take other tours with Ellie.
