I took a Paris Pastry tour with Rachelle. The tour was originally for my daughter, granddaughter and me, but a heat wave rolled into Paris and the two girls wouldn’t go. I asked Rachelle to give a shorter tour for me because of the heat, and we visited 4 lovely bakeries/patisseries and she gave me an abbreviated history behind the pastries and the Marais neighborhood. All the pastries were delicious! Rachelle is friendly and engaging and speaks perfect English. She even let me try out my rusty French. Marais is a very charming neighborhood and I would highly recommend this tour. Couldn’t ask for more!

We took the Pastery tour with lovely Alexia who skillfully guided us between hidden spots, bakeries and parks in an interesting and fun way. The challange was not the easiest, really warm weather and us already starting the day with another tour and on the day of the festival "the day of the music", that brought half of Paris to the streets, Alexia had done her homework in advance, having multiple bakery options, in case of pasteries beeing sold out and even replanning on the go for a ice cream stop in the heat by choosing the lesser known location to avoid the huge lines at the main shop. The thing that really stood out with the tour was the truely great effort and huge heart Alexia showed during the tour and doing so in a genuin way that made it feel like beeing shown around by a friend. We had a wonderful afternoon with Alexia amongst delicious pastry, magical surroundings and streets filled with music. Our group of 5 had a wonderful patisserie tour of Paris. Anukool is very knowledgeable and was able to provide an excellent tour of some very unique patisseries in Paris. We had a lovely time on our tour with Rachelle. She was great with our two daughters aged 15 and 11 and really engaged with them as well as my husband and myself. We never would have found the places she took us to. Each one was amazing and there was lots to choose from at each patisserie. The hard bit was choosing! The other reviews are true- you won’t find a better tour guide anywhere in Europe! We did the pastry tour- but I think Rachelle would be just as fabulous at any tour in Paris- her knowledge is unbelievable, English perfect, and personality off the charts. Pastry tour was super interesting, food was yummy, and it was just a nice alternative to a traditional historical site tour. Book her now!Best part of our trip!

We had the most enjoyable day on our perfect pastry tour with our incredible hostess Rachelle. Rachelle was so friendly and knowledgeable about the art of pastry, the history and background of various specialties as well as the history of her beautiful city Paris. My husband is here in Paris for work and I joined in for the trip. We met Rachelle and couldn’t have asked for a better experience and start to our trip. She was clear with communication, her English was excellent, timely, engaging and so friendly and sweet. She was so knowledgeable about the city and it was like walking around with a friend sharing stories and experiences. She made us feel completely comfortable, and she gave us many suggestions to use throughout our stay including coffee shops, restaurants, museums and other shopping. We signed up for the pastry tour on our 1st day in Paris after an overnight flight. The tour was a reasonable pace and, in addition to the wonderful pastries, offered a glimpse into part of the city and its history. Stop researching and book with Rachelle! We did tons of research and based on the great reviews of her tour we booked with her and we even though the expectations were high, she exceeded them! She was especially great at making the tour interesting and fun for my 7-year-old. Throughout the tour it was clear that she had excellent relations with all the shop owners and that helped make our time really efficient. We learned not just about the pastries and their shops, but the Marais district and modern Parisian life. Plus, I really need an iced latte and she knew exactly where to get a great one, which is tough to do in Paris!Great tour! Especially for kids!

We had some train delays and cancellations which caused us to change our plans last minute and end up in Paris early with nothing planned. We braved our jet lag and met Alpha for a wonderful afternoon of Parisian treats. We tried crepes, eclairs, fancy cakes, coffee and specialty chocolate all while wandering mostly throughout the 3rd Arr. Alpha was a wonderful guide and she got along great with my young adult daughters and gave them recommendations for fun “young people” spots in our hotel’s neighborhood.
