We had a great time learning about Malaysian food and culture with Siidoz! He accommodated meat eaters and vegetarians in our party and even added in some special treats for our kids. This a must in KL! We had an amazing time trying all the best street food in places we would never have found without Siidoz. Siidoz was super knowledgeable and we learned about the history of KL as well as the street food culture. He was a great host. Our only negative was there was too much food!!! Siidoz was an excellent host and chauffeur for my party of 3. Since my disabled mother was joining us, Siidoz made sure that we could visit the sites that were most accessible with a wheelchair. Had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon food tour. Siidoz is very easy to get along with and very knowledgeable on the food and local Culture and the area surrounding Central Market. We were shown down narrow alleyways in China Town which we would never have found and treated to some amazing food Malaysian, Indian and Chinese. Some in restaurants others at small stands serving maybe just four dishes. In the words of Siidoz, non of his guests ever finish a tour not feeling well fed, which was certainly the case. We really enjoyed the tour! He was forgiving when we were unintentionally running about 15 minutes late in meeting him due to an unexpected problem earlier. He introduced us not just to the food we were eating that day, but also local specialties that one could buy in supermarkets and smaller shops as well. He also adjusted the tour itinerary and route to take into one of our party who was older - e.g. more frequent stops at public toilets if required, a slower walking pace, and a stop at a Chinese temple. Oh and the food was delicious - including the fact that we wanted to be challenged at least a little. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending others to book TK on a food tour. Thanks, TK!Friendly, informative, well paced.

Our group of 4 enjoyed a great private tour in the heart of KL’s Chinatown with Siddoz and his trainee (Steve?). Siddoz was firstly very patient and understanding as we were delayed in KL traffic for ~15 mins. He catered to my fussy parents, explained the dishes we were trying and introduced us to foods we wouldn’t have ordinarily tried. He also took us to a couple of really cool spots for photo ops, some of the best photos on our holiday (thanks Steve, our personal photographer too!). We had requested a food tour focused on authentic local cuisine and street food that the locals eat here. I am a foodie and amateur cook myself, having lived and worked on three continents – most recently for three years in China. My interest always lies in the true local cuisines of ordinary people. I had not yet experienced Malaysian cuisine firsthand. Through Siddoz, we learned more about this cuisine in one evening than we could have on our own in a week. Siddoz guided us to some good food which was a useful introduction to Malaysian cuisine. He spent quite a lot of time on his phone so there wasn't a lot of interaction between us but he knew his way around the best food stalls which was really what we were interested in! Het was heel leuk om met TK op stap te gaan. Naast de heerlijke Food tour, nam hij ons ook mee naar een feest van het Chinese nieuwjaar, dit was voor ons een extra inkijkje in de cultuur, wat wij erg leuk vonden. Verder gaf TK ons nog allerlei andere interessante tips. TK weet veel over het eten en welke plaatselijke dingen je echt moet hebben geproefd. Dank je wel, TK!Het was geweldig!

Thank you TK for taking my family and I on a personalised food tour around Central Market and Petaling Street! TK was extremely responsive from the get-go and really easy to communicate with. On the day, my grandma decided to join and TK was super accommodating. Due to this however, the tour was made challenging as my grandma (being elderly) wanted to wander on her own and didn't really understand the concept of a "tour". TK was once again super understanding, and paced the tour so that my grandma could keep up.Fantastic host

I was surprised to find out at the beginning of the food tour that it was snack food only which I wasn’t aware if. . We tried a variety of small foods, but had to buy our own dinner. We found our guide to be friendly enough, but also a bit distracted by his phone during the tour.Not what I expected

Even prior to the meeting Siddoz was very prompt with messages and tailored the tour as per our needs. This was my third visit to Malaysia and I think I knew most about Malaysian food. However within the first 2 dishes quickly proved me wrong. We went from stall to stall - each hand picked for what it was great at - and we got to try some great dishes from the differnt ethnic groups that make up the Malaysian population. Would definitely recommend this guide. Great intro to malaysian food.

Sidoz was knowledgeable and friendly and we enjoyed our time sampling different local foods. There was only one dish we didn't enjoy, but we still were completely full at the end! It was an abrupt end to the session, but that was down to heavy rain that suddenly appeared.Great half day food tour

I met Siddoz (and Cash who was being trained at the time) at the Central Market and was taken on a food tour to remember. I got to sample Malaysian, Chinese and Indian food. It was all great but the Asam Laksa was outstanding. Siddoz is very charming and shares a lot of interesting information on more than food alone. Great experience. Siddoz took us around to places we would not have otherwise found and got to experience some great, authentic food and sights, as well as insights about the history and culture of Malaysia. Highly recommend doing one of these tours, especially if you like trying new foods and finding hidden (inexpensive) gems! Siddoz was also great at giving us some advice the day after, when we were venturing in to Little India - had some of the best Indian we have had there, on his recommendation. Am ersten Tag in KL hatten wir direkt den Eindruck, dass vegetarisches Essen nicht so leicht zu finden ist, wie gedacht. Daher haben wir die Tour mit TK gebucht, die mit vegetarischen Alternativen wirbt. Was soll ich sagen, unsere Erwartungen wurden zu 100% erfüllt. Es war interessant umd vielseitg. TK war super nett und entgegen kommend. Er spricht perfektes Englisch und kennt dich super aus. Wichtig: wirklich mit Hunger kommen! Es gibt viel und reichhaltig zu essen🙃Super Tour, auch vegetarisch

Siddoz was a fabulous guide- he took us to numerous delicious stops, expertly tailoring the experience to be a good fit for two vegetarians. The food was absolutely delicious, the conversations interesting and we learned a lot about the history and culture of the areas we were eating in. Also, the value for price was perfect! We were so full we had to ask to take away food from the last 2-3 spots and they easily accommodated us. Now we have ample leftovers as well of delicious food. Highly recommend booking with Siddoz! We undertook a food tour with Siddoz which exposed us to the very many varied cuisines available in Kuala Lumpar, and he proved to be a very knowledgeable food host. Along with his offsider trainee guide Raja, we learnt a great deal about not just the food, but what goes into it, and the endless variety of what we might consider to be the nasi, mee, and ayam classics, and so on. Trying everything from unusual small cakes, flavoursome tea, various forms of laksa, tasting noodles everywhere from the real back street food scene to the new and upmarket, the night did not lack from a variety of foods and tastes. The tour also had the advantage of being able to be experienced within a short walking distance so the time was well spent. On a final note, bring your appetite. There’s a lot to try and experience!A walking feast
