Es posible que vea varios arroyos de montaña que fluyen murmurando en las laderas de las montañas a lo largo del camino que sube, pero es difícil ver un arroyo de montaña oculto donde puede escuchar una sinfonía de agua que golpea el acantilado y se sumerge en agua clara y fresca cerca de su cascada. Junto con el trekking, puedes parar en una superficie de agua y practicar cómo lanzar piedras saltando por encima del agua, ¡es muy divertido! El Parque Nacional Ba Vi te da la opción de subir los escalones de piedra de dos picos. Un pico lo lleva a alcanzar el pico más alto, y se trata de 1200 escalones empinados de piedra donde puede encontrar una pagoda de la torre Bao Thien y un templo dedicado a Ho Chi Minh donde puede encontrar una parte sepultada de Ho Chi Minh durante la guerra de EE. UU. . Las vistas desde el lado del templo de Ho Chi Minh son increíbles, desde allí puedes contemplar el río Da y los arrozales debajo del valle. Loan organized and lead a private tour for our family from Hanoi to Ba Vi National Park. She communicated clearly before the trip, she arranged a safe and friendly driver, shared lots of information about the area we were visiting, and was interested in us and our kids. We really enjoyed spending the day with her.
Ba Vi National Park is not a really strenuous hike - we climbed up two separate hills with lunch in between each hike. You are on very clearly demarcated, recently updated trails for the hike. Definitely safe, great for kids, lots of stair-climbing but also lots of opportunities to stop and rest if needed along the way. It was great to get out of busy Hanoi for a day and see some of the countryside.Wonderful guide, great for families.

While the first part of the tour in Ba Vi National Park was enjoyable and showcased the natural beauty of the area, the second part of the tour—a hike in the surrounding area—was an extremely disappointing and unsafe experience.
Due to the aftermath of a storm in September, the hiking path was heavily obstructed by fallen trees and overgrown vegetation. The guide and I frequently had to climb over or duck under fallen trees and even leave the designated trail to navigate blocked areas. This made the hike not only physically demanding but also unsafe. I did not encounter any other hikers on this path, likely because the trail’s condition posed significant risks.
The presence of overgrown bushes, fallen trees, and even a small snake during the hike added to the sense of danger. To make matters worse, when asked whether there would be restroom facilities, the guide suggested “using nature,” which is not an acceptable solution during a paid tour.
Given the state of the pathway, it was highly irresponsible to include this hike as part of the itinerary without notifying me in advance. I expected a safe and enjoyable experience but instead found myself in a dangerous situation with no clear access to help had anything gone wrong.
I strongly believe the hike should have been replaced with a safer alternative or removed altogether, given the current state of the trail. I cannot recommend this tour unless significant improvements are made to ensure the safety and comfort of participants.Unsafe Hiking Experience - Avoid

It was a convenient and fun outing at Ba Vi. Loan drove us through the local village before the park, pointing out the way of life and local specialties.
She packed a tasty box of noodles that we had at a peaceful stream, then brought us up above the clouds. Sitting at the small serene temple with windchimes is just amazing, I could stay there all day.

Loan is incredible!!! She was super nice, got in touch with us before the trip and explained some organizational things with us. She offered a lot of information during out hike, super flexible with our requests and a fun person to be around. The views are great, it s quite, a lot if nature and the trail is organized with steps, parking and a place to eat or drink something/ go to the toilet if needed. Loan took my girlfriend and I on a day trip to Ba Vi National Park. The entire experience was outstanding in every way imaginable and greatly exceeded our expectations.
If you want a local guide with excellent knowledge of her country, including its history and its natural environment, Loan is the perfect choice. She gave us a variety of options on how we could spend our day and showed us some gorgeous views, secluded settings and remarkable historical sites. She answered all of our questions in great detail and offered other interesting facts that helped us gain insights into Vietnamese wildlife and culture. She even provided us with additional recommendations for other places we could visit while in Vietnam.
It was a pleasure getting to spend the day with such a friendly, organized and knowledgeable local. Loan went above and beyond to ensure we made the most of our trip.

We had a great time with Loan in Ba Vi Nationalpark. We first went to a waterfall in the rainforest and then went up to the second highest peak. Loan gave us insight into the nature in Vietnam and we had a wonderful time. There were quite some mosquito in the rainforest but Loan asked us to bring mosquito spray so we were prepared. Wir wurden vom Hotel abgeholt... das war schon mal ein Plus. 😊Die deutsche Verständigung war eher schlecht... aber es gab ja den Google Übersetzer ☹️Aufgrund des doch sehr schlechten Wetters (da halfen auch die Plastiküberzieher der Reiseleiterin nicht ) haben „wir“ den Ausflug vorzeitig abgebrochen... daher kann ich auch nicht mehr in die Bewertung schreiben. Die vorzeitige Beendigung des Ausflugs ging von uns aus nicht von Loan.

Der Trip in den Nationalpark mit Loan war einfach großartig. Sie war schon so oft dort und kennt gefühlt jeden Stein. Schon auf der Fahrt hat sie und viel erzählt zu Dingen, die am Straßenrand zu beobachten waren. Sie zeigt einem die Dinge, die man sehen will und wann immer man mal eine Pause braucht oder ein paar Fotos machen möchte wird halt angehalten. Ich kann mir keine bessere Art vorstellen, Ba Vi zu erkunden :-)
Zudem habe ich vorher ein wenig mit ihr geschrieben und sie hat mir noch weitere Tipps für Dinge in Hanoi gegeben.Nur zu empfehlen

Great day trip up to ba vi, great to get into the cooler mountain area. Definitely one for the hikers/walkers and locals. Nice pagoda and shrines at the top. Bring food/packed lunch as the restaurant there is for larger groups only and shops only have snacks. Lovely day out to ba vi national park

Vietnam is so green and you can really get close to the nature with a visit to their national park. The climb is intense. I'd say that if you are not in good physical shape, this tour might not be for you. The steps going up to the temple were under improvements so there were uneven and muddy areas that anyone with uneven footing, balance issues, or weak leg strength might want to avoid until the renovations are complete. You can still visit the park and walk around which is beautiful. If you can undertake the climb to the temple, it's worth the time and workout. Stunning views! Loan put together a great experience. Her english was easy for me to understand and she was very knowledgeable. We went outside the city to do some hiking up two mountains and got to see temples at the top. The view was amazing and she was able to provide a lot of insight on the area. It was a fun day and you will get to go outside and explore as much of the nature as you like. Loan will never make you feel rushed and allow you to take in the sights for as long as you like. One of the greatest joys in life is the opportunity to connect with people from different backgrounds, to explore new countries, and to immerse oneself in diverse cultures.
I am fortunate to have a rich and varied heritage—half from Hanoi, a quarter from Ninh Binh, and a quarter from Hoi An. Growing up amidst such diverse cultural influences in Vietnam, I was surrounded by fascinating stories shared by my grandparents and parents about our country’s history, culture, traditional food, and way of life. These stories sparked a deep curiosity in me, and I became an avid reader, always eager to learn more.
Traveling has always been one of my greatest passions. As I grew older, I had the chance to explore many parts of Vietnam, as well as travel across Southeast Asia and Western Europe. I am deeply proud of the beauty of my country and love to share it with others. My experiences abroad have also given me a new perspective, allowing me to see the contrasts between Eastern and Western cultures, which has only deepened my admiration for the unique beauty of each place. Above all, I have developed a profound respect for cultural diversity and a commitment to preserving and celebrating my own heritage.
Though I once started a local business to support rural women and children in need—a venture that didn’t ultimately succeed—I was then introduced to Withlocal.
