We met the smiling Bibiana in front of the Musee D'Orsay, which had been unexpectedly closed for technical reasons. The queues outside were kilometric! Bibiana skillfully navigated us through the crowds and has us inside the building within minutes. Bibiana abounds with natural enthusiasm when sharing her knowledge of the museum and its art collection. Our family of four loved our Louvre tour with Emilie! I told her our daughters' ages in advance and she prepared a special tour for them, and made sure to point out things of interest for their age level. She saved us a TON of time from skipping the entry line, to being able to use the group visit rest room, to making sure we saw all the important works within our two hours there (the kids can only really muster so much time in a museum before they start losing it :)). Her knowledge of the art and the history was fantastic, and she answered all our questions patiently. She really explained the history behind each painting and made it interesting for all of us. Bibiana met us at the Musée D'Orsay and gave us a private tour based on my interests as an artist. A lively and insightful tour of Montmartre touching on architecture, civic history, art, local crafts and Paris’s signature bakery seductions. Having mentioned that I was step-averse, our local guide, Bibiana, devised a way to get to the basilica with as few stairs as possible. We had an enjoyable morning at the Louvre with Bibiana who is an expert in Renaissance Art. We started touring from the foundation of the Louvre understanding how the palace turned into a great museum before maneuvering between the most iconic exhibits of the Louvre. Bibiana's narratives was simple and precise. As a painting expert, she did not just throw out a bunch of information but instead she weaved a historical picture of how painting styles evolved and how an amateur could understand the story and thus appreciate each artwork. Emilie provided us with head sets so we could clearly hear her stories, background and history of everything we viewed today. Emilie was sensitive to our limitations and accommodated accordingly. We had an awkward start through no fault of Emilie’s. The Lourve opened an hour late and there was at least a couple thousand people in line. Emilie kept us comfortable and entertained. She also helped keep our spot as second in line while countless other groups tried push their way to the front or “make friends” at the head of the line. Once inside Emilie gave us a wonderful tour and even spent extra time with us to make up for the late start. Highly recommend her!Emilie is the best!

Thank you so much Emilie for our fantastic tour of the Louve! We can't rave enough about Emilie and are so thankful we booked the Louve with her. We didn't give her a "must see" list of art to see, we are experienced museum goers so we left it to Emilie to show us her version of the Louve. We spent a fair bit of time learning to history of the museum itself rather than running from one masterpiece to the next and are we the better for it! There is a vast part of the original medieval fortress that predates the museum that many people miss. We learned all about it and so enjoyed this part of the tour! After teaching us the history of the Louve, we did see several "must see's" as well. I also wanted to visit the Couture Exhibit and Emilie made sure we knew exactly how to get to the beginning of that show. We could not be happier with her and highly recommend Emilie as a guide! Bibiana was a wonderful tour guide, very warm and friendly. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She made the building and the art come alive for us as she customized the tour to suit our needs. She kept us on schedule and showed us a large variety of the collection in only 2 hours which I know we could not have done on our own. She also was informative about the art without being dry. Bibiana was a great communicator. She helped us navigate everything and we didn't have to wait in any of the lines. Since this was our first time, she started by explaining the building's history itself and how it came to be a public museum, which was really interesting. Then we covered three main areas and periods of work. Two hours is not terribly long but we got through a lot of things and it made it so much more enjoyable than if I had wandered around myself unsure of why I should be interested in different pieces. Bibiana was excellent and prompt with all communication, very knowledgeable about the Louvre, art history, etc. She was very nice and helpful throughout preplanning and the tour, she made all members of our group comfortable from baby in stroller to adults. I can’t fathom doing the louvre without a private guide, it’s so insanely crowded and huge, even just entering is an ordeal, but not with Bibiana. She knew just how to move us through the crowd and skip the lines and navigate the huge museum. We just returned from a vacation in Paris. It was a family of eight ages 7 years old to 78 years old. We had a fantastic time with Bibiana. She was so knowledgeable and accommodating to our family. Due to the younger one could easily be sidetracked and the older ones could easily get tired, but Bibiana was fantastic in keeping everybody engaged and teaching us so much. It was also very nice that she knew her way around the Louvre and was able to get us a locker for our coats and skip the lines. She knew the great spots to see and view the very interesting pieces. I would highly recommend her, and her English is very good and easy to understand. Absolutely no negatives regarding this experience! Perfect Guide for the Family!

Thanks to Bibiana, my family and I had the opportunity to spend a very pleasant evening at the Louvre. Bibiana took care of buying the tickets in advance (which on our day were free and we didn't have to pay) and quickly helped us skip all the lines. We then decided together on the visit that best suited our needs considering that we only had two hours and also a teenager with us. Despite some technical problems at the start dealing with wheelchair access and some other problems that are not worth mentioning, Emilie proved to be a resourceful person and very knowledgeable every step of our visit. Because my husband is handicapped and travels on a small scooter, it’s a bit more challenging when negotiating his way through museums.
