Although the guide that we booked was not available, he sent along another experienced guide, Efe, who was very familiar with the city. We had a pleasant three hours walking, talking and learning about Bodrum. Frankly, there aren’t a lot of things to see so the majority of our time was strolling through the old commercial area. It was pleasant and Efe gave us plenty of tourist information including a recommendation of a restaurant that turned out to provide our best meal of the entire Turkish portion of the trip.A Walk Around Bodrum

We were on a a short 5 hour day trip from Kos and wanted to make the most of our short visit. This guided tour was perfect. Durmus met us off the ferry (he was very patient as the customs queue was long) he tailored our tour to what we wanted namely an insight into the city today. He was totally flexible. He took us around streets and cafes we would never have found ourselves. He recommended places to eat with the best food, atmosphere and views. He outlined the history of Bodrum and the peninsula with recommendations of places to visit if we so wished. Durmus is a wonderfully knowledgeable and polite guide. A taste of Bodrum

Although we booked with Durmus, Alfie met us for the tour. He was knowledgeable, interesting, considerate and attentive. As a result, we very much enjoyed our visit to Bodrum. My only suggestion is that the meeting place might have been closer to the pier, or you could let your guests know how long it will take to walk to the location.Alfie was a great guide

Our party of six thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Bulent was an excellent guide and gave us an inside view of life in a turkish village. He drove us out of the city to his home in the mountains where his wife had prepared a delicious feast of traditional Turkish food. We were seated on cushions on the floor around a large table and Bulent accompanied the meal playing music on several Turkish instruments.
