We had a fantastic experience with Eric. Our meeting spot was easy to find, and we began our tour by ascending to the rooftop bar of a nearby building, where we could see the whole of Brussels from above. Eric was truly a wealth of information. He is a native of Brussels who obviously loves his city and is eager to share its history and unique charm. Over the course of our 3-hour tour, we covered much of the central part of the city – all the major highlights, as well as a few “hidden gems” that were off the beaten path. And at every stop, Eric explained the history and significance of what we were seeing and thoughtfully answered all of our questions (and we had plenty). We especially appreciated his extensive knowledge of the demolition and reconstruction of many parts of the city that occurred throughout the centuries, and where the few remaining medieval sections were located. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Eric is amazing, and we will definitely book with him again on our next trip to Brussels – maybe even for a guided day trip to Bruges or Ghent. We had a blast with Cristophe. He has a great personality and knows so much about Brussels. He took us to the classic buildings and points of interest that you need to see when you visit Brussels, but then also took us to unique little gems that we would have never been able to find on our own. For example, he took us to all three of the “P“ statues and also to a small part of the canal that still exists that used to go through the center of Brussels. Eric is a true expert in Brussels. He has great insight, great wit and really listened to our questions and added in a new venue based on my love of Art Deco. The whole 3 hours with the added hidden gems was better than expected and I can’t thank him enough. Finished off with a cracking waffle! I am so thrilled that I booked our walking tour with Tiago. The 3 hour tour gave us lots of history, food recommendations, local insight, and more. He truly was a great storyteller, and hit exactly the right tone for our family, which included our young adult children. I certainly feel that we saw parts of the city we would not have known about otherwise, and the restaurant he recommended for dinner was stellar. Asefeh gave us an engaging and insightful tour of central Brussels, explaining the history of the major tourist attractions. She also showed us some interesting nuggets and gave us her personal perspective - all this while battling against the (at times) torrential downpour. We were first time travelers to Brussels and just came for the day on the Eurostar from Paris. Our group of six wanted a guided tour of historic Brussels and Thiago was everything we expected and more. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. Shanthuru is an excellent guide! I took the tour 5 months pregnant and he was considerate of me when I needed to stop and buy water and even asked if he was walking too fast which was not necessary but very much appreciated! He is very knowledgeable of all things Brussels and gave us great recommendations for sweet and savory snacks, food and dinner. My friend and I had a wonderful tour with Tiago, a really lovely and informative person. I must say I’d been a little worried as I’d booked and paid for this tour last December with a different guide , and on me writing to confirm with him a few days before out tour had him reply that he would no longer being doing it…… He recommended Tiago for us and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better morning. We learnt so much, Tiago ‘knows his stuff’ , clearly loves Brussels and had a great sense of humour. I’d most certainly recommend him. He even got me to try beer!! Thank you Tiago. My partner and I recently had the pleasure of taking a walking tour of Brussels with a local guide named Eric, and it was truly a highlight of our trip. From the moment we met him, Eric's enthusiasm for his city was infectious. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into the history and culture of Brussels at every turn. What made the tour even more enjoyable was Eric's wonderful sense of humour, which kept us engaged throughout the three hours we spent with him. Eric took us to a variety of very interesting sights, each one brought to life by his passion for architecture, which clearly shone through in his commentary. He had a knack for pointing out details we might have otherwise missed, making the city feel truly vibrant and layered. A particular treat was his recommendation of a local takeaway spot for some authentic Belgian Frenched (no, not 'French') fries - a delicious end to a wonderful walk! Beyond Brussels itself, Eric went above and beyond by offering us some excellent advice for our upcoming visit to Bruges the following day, which we really appreciated. I would say the price was good value and we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Eric as a guide.
