We had a wonderful time being shown around by Purichat (aka May). It was fascinating to see the aspects of the city we would never have found on our own. Purichat is a local born and bred, and knows the city inside and out. She’s very friendly, speaks great English, enjoys sharing her city, and, as our adventures trying local fruits in a market proves, is maybe a little mischievous as well. 😀 As we’d already been to one place she was planning to take us, she quickly adapted the tour and took us to a new site. We’d happily recommend this tour and Purichat as a tour guide. A fascinating tour of Chian Mai.

We had the pleasure of spending 3 hours visiting a variety of temples, sites and markets around Chiang Mai's old city. Minty is a wonderful guide and easily accommodated when a sudden rain storm hit where she took us to the Chiang Mai Museum until the rain passed. May was a great tour guide. She was hugely flexible with her time the day of our tour since a couple of my boys got sick. A fun and exciting tour with Naphat, who was great company, very knowledgeable and adapted the tour to my preferences. Although there were several highlights as we walked around the old city and chatted, the real gem of the Chiang Mai tour was Naphat herself. Eddie was so knowledgeable about the history of Thailand/Chiang Mai It made our trip much more enjoyable as we better understood the cultural and historical background of the sites. He also took us to a local place (open for 40 + years) where they served the BEST mango sticky rice! He then helped us with booking a customized tour for the next day which took us to see various temples (with an ex/monk as guide) elephants (ethically) and a small village of Kayan/karen peoples which was interesting and enlightening! PGreat experience

My cousin and I had the best half-day introduction to Chiang Mai, thanks to MInty. In an afternoon, she walked us across the backlanes Old Town, offered us highlights of popular temples with an in-depth visit of the most breath-taking one (IMHO! :D) and finished off with an extremely comfortable drive in Minty's luxury van to the Chinatown Night Market / Flower Market PLUS a secret roof-top, birds-eye view of Chiang Mai along the river that we most certainly would have not discovered on our own. We appreciated that she was able to tweak the programme en route once she learned more about us (foodies!) and accommodated pit-stops along the way (coffee! fruit! glutinous rice snacks! braised pork rice!) that personalised this for us and really added value to the experience. We paid for all the extra eats, of course. The best introduction to Chiang Mai

Boy gave us a fabulous morning tour of Chiang Mai highlights today. He is charming, intelligent, and interesting. We really had an enjoyable morning with him. We finished the last part of the tour in the fresh market where he pointed out many local delicacies and we were able to sample several with explanations. We will book him again for sure. ‘Boy’ delivered a great three hour tour of the city, introducing me to some history, some culture, and some delicious Thai food and drinks I would not have tried on my own. A fantastic, very professional, and personal tour with boy. We started with a overview of the ancient city where we learned about the history of Chiang Mai in brief, then we strolled on to the oldest local market and had the best, freshest fruit juice and shopped local goodies. We saw hidden temples and learned important lessons of buddism, and when our youngest became tired of the heat we were taken by car the rest of the tour. Boy was a very knowledgeable, pleasing and fun guide, who’s knowledge of his city is transmitted in a enthusiastic and fun way.Super interesting and fun local tour.

I traveled to Thailand to do a cycling tour—Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai—and decided to arrive early to adjust to the time zone difference (I am from the USA) and to experience the local culture of Chiang Mai before starting my journey, I booked two different tours with Wuthikorn (AKA “Boy”) and have been so impressed with his clear knowledge of the history of this area of Thailand and ability to share it in an interesting and authentic way while also making the entire trip feel so personal. I’ve had the privilege to travel to many countries during this stage of my life to bike, hike and have fun, and can genuinely say that these tours with him have been a true highlight, a great value and it makes me want to return. We had a great afternoon with Boy. He was mindful of my husband’s hearing issue and spoke clearly about the sites we visited. The temples were beautiful as it was late afternoon and the sun shone on the gold making it shimmer. A great time to walk around as it was cooler. Boy taught us a lot about his culture and the Buddhist religion. We had a great time together. I have no problem recommending him as a great guide. Great experience

Spending time seeing off the beaten track parts of the city with Naphat was an absolute joy.
