We had one of the best private tours with Fabrizio. He showed us all of great sights in Cusco, was very interactive, and taught us lots about Incan history. He even switched up the tour half way through to show us more things that we were interested in. He’s a very friendly and genuine guy and it was amazing going on the tour with him. Fabrizio is a fantastic guide! It was an easy meet up and he took us to various spots around Cusco. He gave us an in-depth tour of the market and taught us about parts of the culture through this experience. We tasted fruits and chocolates and learned how various produce and products are used in daily life. A wonderful experience for our senses and mind. I adore With Locals and recommend it to all my friends that travel. To use a baseball analogy, this tour was a "swing and a miss." Harry was friendly, kind, and knew his way around Cusco. We visited the Market (drank juice), a Catholic church (not the Cusco Cathedral), then visited Three Monkeys cafe and sipped lattes. Our conversations were thoughtful, lively, and light on history and facts. I was ready to learn about Cusco's rich history and place in the Inca Empire but instead got a lot of sweeping statements and generalizations. Most of all I was extremely disappointed we only walked past the Temple of the Sun where Harry paused briefly to tell me, "supposedly that turret was once covered in gold." And off we went. I believe Harry's more suited for the foodie tour over history. But I'm not deterred, I'll definitely use With Locals again.Friendly, but not what I'd hoped

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with Fernando. He was great and showed us several interesting spots and was very interesting and informative. Fernando is highly recommended. The negative part is that we signed up for the tour that included a local tasting and entrance to the convent museum. That was not communicated to Fernando as he said they were not included. Also, the app did not work. It did not recognize my credentials after repeated tries, so there was no way to communicate through the app. Great guide; poor logistics

Omar Gonzalez, our tour guide, never showed up and it wasn’t possible to reach him either because it is this websites policy to not allow exchange of contact details. It was extremely frustrating because we had to wait for 30 minutes to be ensured a full refund, which we haven’t received yet. I’m extremely unhappy both with Omar and with withlocals and will never try this website again. It was a no show

Fernando knows every meter of Cusco, and his knowledge of its history and perspective on the Inca empire, and the culture clash between the Spanish and the indigenous people, gives you so much insight into this unique and beautiful city. Our destinations had barely any tourists in them, and we saw parts of the city we simply wouldn't have without his help. He also chose a couple of great places for coffee, and a hidden gem museum. I took the "Best of Cusco" tour with Omar. He was an outstanding guide. Fabrizio is an incredible host. The food was excellent, being vegetarian was not an issue. He accomidated us with exceptional flavors of Perú! We've done 3 tours with Fabrizio - Sacred Valley, Cusco city tour and the 10 tastings of Cusco. We've had a great experience starting with the food tour as one of the first things we did in Peru. Fabrizio won't bring you to fancy restaurants and give you food no Peruvian would touch - he will instead give you the chance to try real local snacks, talk to you about the history and culture of his country and quickly turn into a local friend. Do not hesitate to ask him for a favor in accomodating your tour schedule, we found him to be very flexible and supportive with the specifics of our case. Furthermore, he also adjusted the tours to fit our wishes, resulting in the ability to see more than initially planned. We suggest that you book one tour with Fabrizio and take it from there - with all the tips and recommendations he could give you about Cusco. Ask a lot, be curious and connect! We’re a family of five with kids ages 18, 15, and 11. Fabrizio was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and spoke excellent English. He even took us slightly off the beaten path, which we really enjoyed. Along the way, he introduced us to a traditional Peruvian game called Sapa. HE IS THE BEST TOUR GUIDE IN CUSCO and ONE OF OUR FAVORITE GUIDES OF ALL OUR TRAVELS!! We had the opportunity to spend 2 AMAZING days with Fabrizio. We signed up for the 3 bites and a drink Cusco and 7 hr Sacred Valley tour. The bite and drinks evening was the best tastes we had in Cusco. We went back to the restaurants he took us too because they were so good. Time flies by when talking with Fabrizio. His insight and and understanding of Cusco and the INCA history/culture was extensive. It felt like we had a college professor with us for those 2 days. We had an excellent tour with Fabrizio. My mom ended up injuring her knee so he slowed it down so we could take it at her pace. The food we sampled was what the locals eat and it was perfect. We have been on numerous food tours in many different countries. The only reason for 8 and not 10 is at times there was some silence where on other tours the guide always had some interesting facts to share about the town, culture, or food. Still, do not hesitate and book Fabrizio! What the Peruvians eat!

Angelo and Cesar set up a great custom 1/2 day Cusco city and surroundings toiur. We wanted to see the main sites bit also a couple of others, and needed to start in the afternoon since we were flying in that morning. Angelo also gave us some great restaurant recommendations! Fabrizo was very flexible when we had to change our tour date due to other commitments. He picked us up at our hotel to start the tour which was very nice. We went to two restaurants, the first where we had fantastic adobo and chicarrón and enjoyed a local beer. We then went to another restaurant and had picarones. Delicious and we were so full. Plenty of delicious food. But what we didn’t know was that we wouldn’t get the tastings that were listed on the itinerary. It felt a little more like we went out for dinner and dessert rather than sampling a bunch of things. But it was still all very good. If we had known the change of date/time would have changed the food itinerary, we may have considered cancelling or going with another guide. It’s fun to sample multiple things. Fabrizio was a very knowledgeable guide. He knew a lot about the city and answered all of our questions. A bit more quiet and not as gregarious as our experience with other tour guides, but still provided us a good tour and experience. Nice tour of Cusco and great food
