Ilona was very knowledgeable about Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, and she definitely pointed out things we wouldn't have seen without her. She introduced us to Patisserie Hafmann which was incredible! My girlfriend and I had a great dancingnight with Gonzalo and his wife. They took us to a dancing place in Gracia. We had our first lesson in bachata and salsa with a couple of other people in the bar. We learned the first basics of bachata, also as a couple. Contact with Gonzalo and Rebecca was easy and nice. We loved the walking food tour with our guide. We were a family of 4, with an 11-year-old child. She made it fun and interesting for all of us. We learned about the history of Barcelona and saw some interesting things along the way to the restaurants, like a folk festival with dancing and a band, and a parade as well. The tapas we got to pick out at the restaurant were enough to count as a meal. The dessert we had at the restaurant next door was heavenly!Great food tour in Barcelona!

Maria was patient, calm, knowledgeable, friendly (all of the above)! It was so nice to just walk around not worrying about getting lost. What a great introduction to Barcelona! Jordi guided us away from the main drag pointing out significant sites and explaining the history of the city particularly from an architectural perspective. Jordi was friendly and outgoing and his introduction to Barcelona was the perfect launching point for our 5-nights in Barcelona recommending point of interest including day trips. Jordi’s style was easy going and relaxed. He knows his stuff and shared an enormous amount of info during our morning walk. Great introduction to Barcelona and Gaudi!

Muriel is a Barcelona native with tremendous knowledge of the city's culture and hidden gems. She was friendly, kind, very accommodating, and great with our kids. We did a fantastic walking tour through the old parts of the city, and ended up at the Maremagnum mall, where Muriel helped us to arrange for a portside lunch reservation. Her love for her city really shines through. One thing that I really appreciated is how flexible she is-- as we were brand new to the city, we asked her to meet us at our hotel, which she did.
