Overall experience of the bike tour booked is poor. 1. Bikes: These were very outdated and dangerous. Two bikes had a wobbly crank, making it difficult to cycle as feet kept slipping of the peda. One other bike had a broken break and the guides bike even had a wrong rearwheel mounted. 2. Knowledge: We booked a tour to Go through the Old Town of Marbella. When the guide arrived he asked us what we wanted to see (bit odd but ok). First we went to see a pier at a port close to the Old Town which wasnt special at all, with no exiting views or fun facts about the location. The guide himself also didnt really know what to do there. Then we went to the Old Town, where we parked our bikes, and we started to walk through the narrow streets. No information, no fun facts. Just that the buildings were typical for Marbella (Ok….). As the guides English was very poor. We were given his mobile phone with an article describing where we were and what we should be seeing (that should be the guides job). Even something simple about the ancient walls… No info at all. We walked around a bit more, but even the bar he proposed to have a drink was closed. At that time we decided that is was enough and we ended the Tour early and went back to hand in the bikes. Where we told him that we were disappointed. But die to the language barrier I doubt the message came across. Overall we were very disappointed with the tour. We paid €230 (5 people) for a 2.5 hour bike tour and really expected some nice views, fun facts etc. But nothing what so ever. Also being provider with faulty bikes is nothing more then dangerous when navigating traffic. For future trips it will be very unlikely that we would book with Withlocals again. And based on the above, a refund would be more then appropriate. Dangerous bikes, poor knowledge
