I had the privilege of taking a private group historical walking tour with Viktor as an introduction to incredible Mexico City! It was easy to book. Viktor communicated before the tour to ask if we had any special interests or limitations. The meeting point was really busy because it was a Sunday afternoon, but we connected with no problems. From the first minute I knew we had the “right” guide for us. His enthusiasm and love of his city and country were immediately evident. We walked at the right pace, never felt rushed and he adjusted his timing as needed throughout the tour. The included snack/ beverage was great and very welcomed about 2/3 into the tour. His knowledge of the buildings and history were incredible. I will be back and hope to have another tour with Viktor. Great guide, great tour

Juan Miguel was our tour guide through the Historical Center of CDMX. Given it was a Monday, many of the museums were closed but Juan was able to show us many sites that were open and interesting. He also gave us many restaurant recommendation. For a young man, he is an old soul and well studied especially when it comes to the architecture of the Historical Center We very much enjoyed out time with Juan Miguel and would highly recommend him. Mabel is so personable, we could have spent all day with her. We took our 3-hour tour of the historic part of Mexico City with Mabel on the last morning of our stay in Mexico City...our only regret is not doing the tour earlier in our trip so we could explore more of the places that Mabel recommended. She was very flexible and really easy to communicate with prior to the tour. I would absolutely recommend her to anybody looking for a tour guide. She filled us in on all of the details of the history of Mexico City, picking right up where our guide (the day before) at the Anthropology Museum had left off when the Spanish came to Mexico. Mabel was able to weave the whole history of Mexico into the buildings on the tour, which made our visit to El Centro more meaningful than we would have ever been able to do ourselves. She had answers to all of our questions, and recommendations for everything we wanted to know. She is a true local! Thank you, Mabel!Amazing Tour!

We had an amazing tour! Laos was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to connect with. Mariel was an amazing tour guide! She is well studied, very knowledgeable, articulate, and has a deep appreciation for her country's heritage and culture. And she was extremely kind and fun to spend a morning with! While she speaks great English, we opted to have her do the tour in Spanish (we are conversational in Spanish but not fluent) and we could understand her perfectly. But when we needed clarification, she was easily able to explain in English. Would highly recommend!!¡Muy excelente!

This was our first time using Withlocals and we went into it with high hopes...the experience far exceeded our expectations! Our family of four (including an 18-year old and a 12-year old) can be a tough crowd at times. We have very different interests and the idea of trudging around for nearly 3 hours can be daunting. I was half-expecting somebody in the family would be miserable and want to pull the plug early, but that's not what happened at all. From the moment we met Victor, he had all of us fully engaged. He's such a nice and personable guy, you can't help but like him. He is so incredibly knowledgeable. In addition to a the very detailed and standard tour stuff, he was able to answer all of the random questions we through his way. And the moment he happened to bring up anime, he had our kids eating out of the palm of his hand. Our kids don't typically get excited about museums, history, dates, etc. But Victor's approach was so interesting and entertaining, he kept them engaged the entire time...listening intently and asking questions. It was such a joy for us as parents to see them taking it all in and enjoying the experience. They got so much out of it, we all got so much out of it! I don't think we could get the same benefit any other way. The only downside was having to say goodbye to Victor again. Obviously, I can't recommend Victor and this tour strongly enough. Our experience with the Whitlocal platform was easy enough and we will definitely look to use it again every time we travel.Great experience & Victor is phenomenal!!!

My wife and I did a tour of the Centro Historico with Mabel and her knowledge and passion for the history of Mexico really came across. I met up with Rogelio, near my hotel and we went to Palacio de Bellas artes, Casa Azulejos and Zocalo. I learned a lot about the city. We had a great visit to a bakery which I would not have found on my own. It is amazing the knowledge Rogelio has about the history and I’m glad I took the tour. I would do it again. Our tour was automatically reassigned to Laos a couple days beforehand. The tour was nice and he had a deep appreciation for the art and architecture around the Historic Center. Unfortunately, the museum we were supposed to visit was not open and we were not provided the local snack or drink that was supposed to be included in the package. Laos can give you a deep look into the history and hidden murals around town, which was very interesting! He was on time for the tour and helped us better understand the city. Thanks Laos! Rogelio gave me and my sister and our 83 years young mother a fantastic tour of the historic center. He was super knowledgeable, including sharing detailed information about the complex history of the city and its artwork, especially the murals at the Palacio and the sculptures and architecture nearby, and as advertised layered in some true hidden gems. He was able to accommodate the pace of our esteemed elder :-) and still give us a rich, comprehensive overview of the city. A great introduction to CDMX.Super interesting and responsive tour!

We really enjoyed Mabel as a host. Super friendly, helpful and informative. We arrived the day before the big women’s demonstration and since the historic area was all boarded up Mabel suggested we meet in a completely different part of the city. We didn’t realize this was an hour Uber drive for us but it was completely worth it because we would never have thought of going here and really enjoyed everything we got to see and experience.
