Paolo was a fantastic guide through Montemartre. He shared interesting historical details, fun facts about different locations, buildings and the area. We were traveling as a group with a 10 year old, 2 40 something’s and a 70 year old - and he was interesting and engaging to everyone. We stopped to purchase snacks along the way as we needed and Paolo was very helpful in picking the best spots. He even waited in a fairly long line with us for Sacre Couer which seemed above and beyond. At the end of the day he gave us additional tips for other spots to check out and even provided a dinner recommendation after we had parted ways. Highly recommend!Fun & informative

My wife and I booked an afternoon tour with Anukool around Montmatre. Met Anukool and he is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy who gave us a great tour of the area and told us many things we would not have learned if we had done this on our own. He recommended some great places to visit and eat. Montmatre as a area is well worth visiting and whilst there are the obvious attractions such as Sacre Couer there also many hidden gems. Maxime is awesome! He is so knowledgeable and personable and has a wonderful sense of humor. His love for Paris and it's history is obvious. We learned much more about the Montmartre area than we could have ever learned on our own. He was patient with our questions and sensitive to our pace (2 of us are seniors). A lively and insightful tour of Montmartre touching on architecture, civic history, art, local crafts and Paris’s signature bakery seductions. Having mentioned that I was step-averse, our local guide, Bibiana, devised a way to get to the basilica with as few stairs as possible. Spending three hours with Maxime touring Montmarte has been the absolute highlight of our tour, and there have been many (on our "sampling trip" that started at Budapest, to Vienna (via Bratislava) and finally Paris). To say Maxime is knowledgeable is an understatement. What stood out was who Maxime is: a very kind, empathetic, socially conscious and extremely personable young man. He truly won us over with his genuine love of this area and his understated passion. Even though he was somewhat under the weather, he spent more than 3.5 hours walking the hills of Montmarte with with us, allowing us to take our time to stop and pause at what may have caught our eyes and at each stop would give us insight into history, social, cultural and art background. I cannot thank him enough for being such a kind person and a wonderful tour guide. My wife joins me in wishing him the very best. My goodness! Where do I/we even begin?!

Absolutely worth doing the Trip with Paolo. Lots of interesting details. We were a family of four, the children being 17 and 20. Both not at all interested in being guided around, in arts and especially not that evening. In the end, they asked a lot of questions and told us, that Paolo was great and despite they didn't want to go out again, it was worth it participating. My husband and I loved the tour and the way, Paolo presented all the information. He was humerous, had lots of patience with the kids and didn't loose the good mood so in the end, all of us had a really good time. Thanks so much, Paolo!Adorable

We thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour of Montmarte with Olivia. There were 3 of us (two 21 year olds and a 50 year old). Olivia took us on a great tour, hitting key sites, sharing the history of Montmarte and Paris, letting us go at our desired pace (stopping to go inside churches when we wanted and to do a Photo Booth on the street), with a few delicious snacks along the way and terrific recommendations of things to do and places to eat. We had a flight cancelation and reached a day late. Nella was very understanding and rearranged the tour. My 10 year old was super tired with only an hour of sleep, yet Nella managed to engage him and showed us plenty in Montamarte to feel accomplished. Highly recommend. Fantastic

We booked our Montmartre tour with Max on a rainy and gloomy winter day. Max was a great sport, led us through hidden alleys and passageways. We stopped to warm up in churches and coffee shop. The area is spectacular and it helped to have a knowledgeable guide to discover gems off the beaten path. Maxime is a history and art buff, and will gladly engage in philosophical and cultural discussions. Book him if these subjects resonate with you too. Welly was excellent. We were on a river cruise and had a day in Paris; we were entirely tired of being herded and shearing the earphones provided so we decided not to do the tours offered by the ship and book privately at the last minute (same day!!) I made a tourist mistake while booking (got the district mixed up) and Welly immediately got into action and recommended an alternative. He was very gracious and even picked us up at our hotel! He arrived promptly and we started our tour going on the subway (cool experience); he showed us how to buy tickets and gave us other tips. Very informative. For the next 3 hours we walked, talked, asked questions, stopped as needed, learned a ton and he’s super helpful, knowledgeable and speaks perfect English! Although we had communicated in advance that we were going to be late, and called Lucien several times while we were en route, asking him to please wait for us, he did not wait. He made a judgment that there would not be sufficient time for a good tour. We believe it was up to us to decide if a shorter tour was still worth it. We had paid in full for three hours of his time, and we expected at least the remaining hour and a half. We are very disappointed that he did not wait for us. We have requested a partial refund. We spent the afternoon wandering the streets of Montmartre with Nella. We had a fantastic artists view of the history of the suburb, which we really enjoyed and learnt about some of the more hidden aspects as well. We even popped into the local craft brewery which was a treat! It’s not always easy to keep a family of 5 ( kids 17,15,10), but Nella did a great job of chatting to each of us throughout the tour, making sure each of us got something out of it. We had a nice walking tour in an area of Paris that we have not visited before. Anna is knowledgeable and very nice. We were pretty tired and don't have much art knowledge so it might not have been the perfect match up for us on this day. There was a little communication difficulty prior to the tour when Anna asked to reschedule at 8am and then didn't get back to my response until the afternoon. We ended up meeting as originally planned. If you have an art history knowledge this would be an awesome tour for you. Note: We also did not have one drink or snack as advertised in the tour description. Beautiful area
