Really enjoyed our tour with Tiago. He was lovely and very knowledgeable. We did however, feel that it ended rather abruptly and we weren't informed that we were walking back to the station. 40 plus minutes of travelling to and from Potsdam cut into the 4 hours allocated plus we finished with half an hour to spare. It would perhaps be better to meet at Potsdam thus allowing more time for the tour. It would also have been nice to have had the opportunity to stop for refreshments or even been told that the tour was close to finishing so that we could have perhaps decided to stay in Potsdam to have lunch or a drink.Informative tour

I have been to Berlin a few times before but now I had the time to explore the city a little more. I booked the Gems of Potsdam Tour with Miha and - due to a public transportation strike - we quickly decided to do a Gems of Berlin Mitte Tour :-) Miha is very open and it has been so easy to start a conversation with him. You can tell from the first minute that he loves Berlin and loves what he is doing. He tailored the 'improvised' tour exactly to my taste. He is talkative and knows so much about history, (street) art and those little stories that only locals know. I really enjoyed the time exploring the city with him a lot. Betty was just incredible! I would say our trip to Potsdam was easily the most fun & memorable of our eight days in Berlin because of her. She has a great sense of humor, is very lively, enthusiastic, flexible, and very, very knowledgeable. I found her to be a natural story-teller, bringing to life such characters as Frederick the Great and his father and the uniting of Germany so as to help make sense of everything we were seeing around us. She could point things out about the art, architecture, sculpture, and layout of the city around us, how it came to be, the thinking behind it, how it was impacted by the war. This was only topped, perhaps, by her insightful, loving, and sometimes wry perspectives on Berlin itself as we traveled by train to and from Potsdam; I learned more from Betty's thoughts and observations about Berlin and what has made it what it is today in a few short hours than I did in all the rest of our time there. Warm and easy to be with, always thoughtful, Betty is a guide I would enthusiastically recommend to anyone who wants to learn anything about Berlin!Amazing tour guide

AWESOME excursion. Potsdam has played a tremendous role in history and this gem should not be missed if your a visiting Berlin. Whit was very familiar with the area of Potsdam and very versed in the Architecture, Art and area how it played its part in bought Germán and World History. Yes the city of Berlin has many excursions and attractions but Potsdam should not be missed by any means. Explore and experience. This was the best way to get to know Berlin on our first trip to the city. Pablo showed us the big sights, but took us to less well known places that we would not have otherwise visited. He told us the history and stories behind the sights which was exactly what we wanted from the tour. Martin was fantastic. Provided us with insights into East Berlin and the political and social culture of the time. Brought the not so distant past into sharp relief with stories and interesting facts that we would never have had the chance to experience or understand. The private tour is well worth the money as we were able to ask lots of questions and interact with him. He made us feel comfortable right away. I did the tour mostly because of my husbands interest but I left feeling invigorated. Plan on watching all the movies he suggested and learning more about the Cold War because of Martin’s tour. Touring Berlin with Martin was an absolute DELIGHT!! I booked five hours with him and the time flew by. He is extremely knowledgeable, great company, a wonderful storyteller, and answered my myriad of questions in a thorough and thoughtful way. We enjoyed our food tour of ‘ten tastes’ in Berlin with Thiago who did a good job considering he explained he wasn’t feeling great when we started the tour. In heavy snow (beautiful!) we wandered the suburbs of Berlin and ate a variety of foods. There were some interesting tastes included on the tour, which wasn’t quite what we expected. We had expected the best of traditional German cuisine but Thiago explained that much of the fast food was traditional. Overall we felt the Experience was a little expensive but interesting. Ways to improve the tour would be include some drinks (even water) as lots of the food was high in salt. On previous European food tours seating was reserved ahead of arrival and food was higher quality, but in hindsight the cuisine in Berlin was unlikely to match the likes of Thailand or Rome!Food tour in Berlin

We have a 12 & a 5 year old so It is not easy to lead a tour with children. But he was very patient & tried to tailor the tour to suit the family needs. He brought us to the key attractions and he took into consideration where we like to visit and dropped us off at our first x’mas market. ( we were doing a road trip in Germany) My son left his phone at the Holocust memorial he was quick to offer to go back to look for the phone. And by the grace of God, we found it!
