Alvero is a true professional and was helpful from the start. Before leaving for our trip he was easy to communicate with and designed a tour especially for our group. Once in Sevilla he also took responsibility for securing our tickets and handling some of the enhanced security protocols in place. This made our visit stress free. During the tour we had ample Time for questions and Alvero kept us in the shade during a hot July day. He shared interesting anecdotes and historical gems that weren’t part of our pre-trip reading. He even managed to keep our teenager interested and engaged! Once at the cathedral he handled a minor issue without our needing to intervene and gave us a detailed tour that included references to religious, historical and political figures. We had the best tour ever today with Alvaro. He is the most enthusiastic tour guide we have been with and has an incredible amount of knowledge regarding the history of Seville - we learnt so much. We also loved that Alvaro showed us all these hidden and quiet courtyards which were a great place to rest and cool down whilst being the middle of the city. My wife and I met Alvaro in a busy and safe location. He took us through the rich history of the city and shared lots of background about the culture of Sevilla. We hung out at all of the coolest spots with the locals in the community of Triana. He is also very attentive to dietary restrictions when it comes to ordering the food for you. We don’t eat pork, red meat, or dairy (sounds like a lot when you list it out like that) and we are also “texture eaters”.. he took all of that into consideration and was still able to order delicious tapas for us and enjoy with us! We recommend him for your trip! Alvaro is great!

Álvaro brought us to all the hot spots for food tastings and so far on our trip this was my favorite experience. We scheduled a highlights and hidden gems tour to take place on the day of our arrival in Seville. We found this to be a very good way to acclimate ourselves to a new city. Alvaro was an accommodating and patient guide from the start. He patiently waited for us to resolve an issue with our accommodations and then provided a fun and memorable tour of this beautiful city. Alvaro offered much appreciated advice on how to spend the rest of our visit - areas worth more exploration. We especially appreciated his restaurant recommendations! Alvaro was very friendly and knowledgeable. He met us on time, and made sure we had a great time providing interesting information about the history of the palace, and the city of Sevilla. He kept my 10 y.o. son interested and eager for more! When a break was necessary, we found a lot of subjects to discuss, ranging from soccer to rock music. Alvaro was friendly and knowledgeable and the food good. However as there were just two of us it cost €280. For that we went to two bars, had 8 tapas and two drinks each and 2 hours of Alvaro’s time. (Not 3 aa advertised). When I complained I was told that despite the website stating ten tastes as well as drinks, the ten included drinks. To be fair, I have been given a voucher ( value unclear) for another Withlocals tour should I choose to use them again. I have done this type of tour in other cities in Spain going to more bars for less and would suggest using another company. Alternatively there are a number of restaurants with fantastic tasting menus for less in Seville! I can not recommend this tourOverpriced

Alvaro was very personable, and our first stop was magnificent! Most unusual tapas (one carrots, one beets, one stuffed mushrooms) flavored so well that ALL four of us loved them!!! A new wine to us that Alvaro chose complemented everything beautifully His second stop was closed and the backup plan left a lot to be desired.
