Zum ersten Mal in Paris , endlich! Alleine, 66 Jahre mit Verkühlung! Habe mich auf Anhieb sehr gut mit Olivia verstanden. Wir mussten nicht lange gehen und schon sind wir in dem versprochenen Jazzkeller abgetaucht. Tolle Atmosphäre , die Musiker trotz Jugend absolute Profis. Olivia fürsorglich, lieb. Einen Drink und ich wusste, dass ich diese Entscheidung nicht bereuen würde. Olivia hätte mich noch weiter zum nächsten Jazzclub geschleppt, aber ich war zufrieden mit dem was mir geboten wurde. Später durfte ich noch herausfinden, dass Olivia selbst eine hervorragende Jazzsängerin ist. Da verrate ich aber nichts Danke liebe Olivia!Bester erster Abend in Paris!

Loved spending an evening with Olivia- she is a jazz singer herself and knows all about the Paris jazz scene. Got us into a hard to find great little historical club where the swing music was wonderful and the dancers very accomplished. She gave us a lots of history of the area, how the clubs and jazz developed (and the war's impact), the current types of jazz music and where to find it as well as history of historic buildings nearby and the clubs. would love to do it again!!Cool Jazz scene with Olivia.

Olivia was accommodating, friendly and took us around the jazz scene in Paris on a weekend at last minute notice! Loved being with a local musician to meet other musicians and to hear their stories! And feel their passion when playing! Olivia gave us great backstory surrounding JAZZ in Paris dating all the way back 100years+! We then walked through the streets to what was an underground jazz cafe previously and enjoyed our 25 wedding anniversary evening sampling the delights of the Adrien Brandeis and band members! An evening of delight! If we return, we will definitely contact Olivia again and will also direct any friends her way, too!!!Best way to spend an evening

Olivia is a beautiful person who is genuinely interested in pleasing her clients. She is very knowledgeable about the history of Jazz in Paris & very good company . What a wonderful experience.! Olivia is charming and engaging with very positive energy. We met at a neighborhood cafe, walked to a small local bar on a tree lined side street for a drink and conversation about music, France and Paris. Then on to one of the newest and hippest jazz clubs in all Paris. The band was spectacular! They had just started when we arrived and the feeling in the room was of reverence. As they moved through the set it cut loose and by the end the audience was on their feet calling for more. Which they delivered in an extended improvised piece that had the house rocking. Olivia is a totally delightful soul! I was traveling last week in Paris and went to see a cool jazz band — in a 17th-century cave underneath a bar — with Liv. She’s a jazz singer herself and lined up a super fun evening! She was thoughtful about the type of jazz I like and lined up an amazing event. We thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour of Montmarte with Olivia. There were 3 of us (two 21 year olds and a 50 year old). Olivia took us on a great tour, hitting key sites, sharing the history of Montmarte and Paris, letting us go at our desired pace (stopping to go inside churches when we wanted and to do a Photo Booth on the street), with a few delicious snacks along the way and terrific recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Four of us - all in our 70’s and one with a bad knee - thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon walk through Montmartre with Olivia. Ostensibly a food tour, it was so much more than that. While we walked, and between and during our tastings, Olivia introduced us to the history and art and culture of the neighborhood. Since she lives there herself, she also had personal information and anecdotes to share that brought life in Montmartre today alive for us; and we were grateful for the suggestions she offered for further explorations of the area. Because Olivia slowed down the pace of her tour for us, and because we told her we were as interested in history as in food, we didn’t stop - by our request, not hers - at all of the ordinary food tastings she offers on this tour. However, what we did taste was all wonderful and plentiful (bread, pastries, cheeses, oysters, wine, and the best quiche we’ve ever had); we were so full that we carried home with us what we just couldn’t eat. Olivia is so easy to spend time with - within moments of meeting her, it feels like she’s someone you’ve known for years. She is articulate, knowledgeable, professional, patient, accomodating, and so engaging that the time with her seems to fly by. We could have spent another couple of hours with her. We are a couple who have travelled to Paris a lot but were travelling with our teenagers who had never been. The tour was perfect for our all of us. We saw parts of Monmartre that we never would have explored, ate amazing food and leant loads about the area. My wife and I were looking for a fun and unique experience in Paris, and this tasting tour with Olivia was amazing. Definitely come hungry! We were expecting just small bites throughout the tour, but we had enough to fill our stomachs (and then some) during the three hours we spent walking throughout Montmartre. It was the perfect way to enjoy a variety of foods during the lunch hour. Olivia took us to a wide variety of restaurants, coffee bars, patisseries, boulangeries, fromageres and creperies, all of which served a delicious sample of all the amazing food that France has to offer. While the food was incredible, what added to the experience was Olivia's knowledge of Montmartre and the background of Parisian food, which made the tour so much more immersive. We felt right at home with Olivia, who navigated the streets of Montmartre and interacted with all of the vendors as a true local who lives there on a daily basis. Olivia was incredibly insightful and engaged throughout, taking time to answer all of our questions (as well as asking some of her own questions to us) and encouraged us to interact with the vendors as well. We were able to take our time to thoroughly enjoy the experience...never feeling rushed. Our only regret was having to leave Olivia after the (short) three hours were over. We had a wonderful food tour in Montmarte with Olivia. My family of 5 can be a little picky but she found several items that we loved.
