We had a great tour today with José. He took us to a very local small restaurant where we had amazing tapas and wonderful local wine. Thenwe went horse riding on the beautiful Andalusia horses .. fantastic afternoon .. José was super friendly. I would highly recommend his tours Fabulous afternoon

Jose is a wonderful person with a lot of inspiration and great storries about Sevilla. We had a great, crazy and funny time with him and on the top a lot of great hints about restaurants, bars and hidden gems in our pocket for the following days. Jose is a warm and wonderful host. He welcomed us into his home in Algaba and made us feel very welcome. He fed us delicious local food and entertained us with his stories. The horse ride along the orange orchards was memorable thanks to the horses, the route and the horse handler Manuel. When I mentioned to Jose that I wanted to buy seeds, he went out of his way to take me to a shop that sold them. We absolutely loved this tour and would recommend it to anyone who visits Seville. We had the most wonderful time with Jose. We met and learned ed about their local food, ultra, and traditions. We went horse back riding and the horses were perfect and rode through orange groves and saw beautiful scenery. After the ride, we went to the Three Kings parade in town. Jose was the best local guide from start to finish and seemed more like family!Most fun day ever!

We had a great day with Jose. He took us to some great places, and had great things to eat drink, so much so that we went back to a couple of places that evening. Even though we booked this experience on short notice, Jose moved very fast and made all the arrangements necessary to make it possible. He was very welcoming, english was great, food was excellent and the horse experience was just what we were hoping for. I was a bit sick that day, so didn't manage to finish the tour, but overall I'd recommend this experience if you want to try something different.Horseriding through the orange fields

Had such a brilliant time with Jose wandering the streets of Seville eating and drinking delicious things. He picked us up from our accommodation (even though it was off the beaten track) and pointed out places to eat, shop, drink and sightsee in the area, and helped us plan our stay. We had great fun eating and drinking in the old town, trying lots of delicious tapas, beer and wines. He’s hugely passionate about food and drink and really knows some of the best local places to eat as well as everyone in them. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough! Definitely worth doing at the start of your stay so he can give you loads of advice about what to do on your trip. He’s a lovely warm, entertaining host and brilliant company. Au début, nous étions un peu déçu car la température avait été difficile depuis notre arrivée à Seville et que notre visite avec Jose Andre était prévue un jour de pluie. Cependant, José s’est montré extrêmement agréable et proactif lorsqu’il nous a proposé de bloquer un autre jour dans son calendrier pour nous accommoder. Le jour de notre rencontre nous avons ri et nous sommes tellement amusés avec José! Il était très compétent et a ajusté les plans en fonction de nos préférences et besoins. À la prochaine José, on espère se revoir à Seville ou bien au Québec 😜 merci !La journée parfaite à Seville!

Jose is een geweldige tapastour gids! Hij heeft ons naar drie super sfeervolle en zeer authentieke tapasbarretjes gebracht in drie verschillende wijken van Sevilla. Genoten van heerlijke locale tapas en verrukkelijke wijntjes! Hij hield rekening met de vegetarische wens van één van ons. Super! En zelfs de niet vegetariërs onder ons vonden deze tapas óók heerlijk. Veel informatie over Sevilla en goede tips gekregen. Bovendien is Jose een zeer fijne en gezellige gids. Jose was amazing. The passion he has for his city is palpable. He makes you feel right at home and gives recommendations on where to go and where to eat for the rest of your trip (all of which were excellent) After the introductory pleasantries he asked about what we had already done and what we had planned. We had a fantastic time with Jose! He is an expert at knowing Sevilla and besides taking us to some awesome local spots he also gave us a ton of recommendations on where to eat for the rest of our trip. We also were lucky enough to book this on the night of the pilgrimage return to Sevilla and he made a point of us experiencing that as well. This was so cool and not something we would have otherwise known about! Additionally, with a group of us consisting of a vegetarian, someone with food allergies, someone who does not drink alcohol, and food lovers he made amazing accommodations for all of us. Jose was an excellent guide for our food tour - highly recommend him! He showed us spots we never would have found on our own and introduced us to foods we wouldn't have thought to order. Incredible experience with Jose. You get to experience where locals go, what they order, and how they eat it. and you get recommendations for things to do and where to eat for your entire trip. The path forward is wherever the vibe of the night takes you. Jose is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and funny. I can’t imagine having come here without this experience. I never would have had the opportunity to experience the Romería de El Rocío without him telling me about it and even offering to go with me (we did the next day and it was beautiful). Can’t recommend enough. ever wanted to travel like Bourdain?

We actually booked the food tour with Clara but when she cancelled Jose stood in at short notice - but this was no second best. Jose is a true character, provided us with a huge amount of information about the city, the surrounding areas, the food and drink, and more besides. We sampled manzanilla sherry, several amazing wines, wild boar, vintage manchego, potato salad with tuna, menudo, scallops and cod nuggets marinated in vinegar and deep fried. This was a brilliant tour and host. I would recommend to anyone with open mind and palette!Food and much more

Five stars for Jose and his amazing Seville food tour and excursion to Ronda! We had a fantastic time exploring the city with him as our guide. Not only did we taste some incredible local food and wine (seriously, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!), but Jose also pointed out all the cool historical streets, shops, buildings, and even told us about the upcoming Holy Week activities. It felt like we were getting the real Seville experience, not just the touristy stuff. But the fun didn't stop there! The day trip to Ronda with Jose was the highlight of our entire trip to Spain. We ate delicious food again (shocker, right?), explored fascinating historical sites, and just had a genuinely lovely time. Jose is a wealth of knowledge and made everything so interesting. We can't wait to go back to Seville someday, and now we even have a new friend there in Jose. If you're looking for a fantastic food tour or an excursion guide, look no further! We had a great time with Jose Andres. He was kind enough to meet us at our hotel and then we were off!!!! We enjoyed a tour that blended the “Highlights of Sevilla” with his food tour. Jose Andres took us all over the city—exploring churches, squares, small streets—all the while explaining history, culture and interesting facts about Sevilla. We visited the week prior to Semana Santa and Jose Andres went out of his way to ensure that we were able to go into several churches across the city to see the gorgeous processionals that would be carried throughout the city. He explained the history and importance of Semana Santa and made the city come alive for us. Along the way, we stopped at some of Jose Andres’ favorite local tapas spots to try different dishes and to take a rest. This was a highly active and fast paced tour—which was great for us! We even had the opportunity to try a local favorite dish in Triana—fried quail! It was amazing. Anyone who wants to walk, talk and try new and different food should take this tour! Jose was really great. Even though we had been in Seville for weeks prior, he still showed us new areas, amazing restaurants, and ordered fabulous tapas. His knowledge about everything Seville (especially food) is vast. He’s easy going, he made adjustments to his plans when my mom couldn’t walk too far, and we had a fantastic time seeing Seville through food. Definitely recommend!Tasty and interesting!

Jose provided a marvelous food tour of Seville! He was very communicative ahead of our visit and made sure to customize our tour to our preferences, including our kids (ages 12, 10 and 7). He has a wealth of knowledge and took us to a mix of places both in the touristy area and in a local neighborhood. Jose was wonderfully engaging with the kids and truly made the evening a highlight of our time in Seville. Jose was so enthusiastic giving us a lovely food tour with examples of all the famous local tapas dishes in smaller backstreet bodegas we would never have found ourselves. We hebben een fantastische privé rondleiding doorheen Sevilla gekregen van José. Op vele plaatsen gekomen die we anders nooit ontdekt zouden hebben. Onderweg fijne uitleg en vooral veel tips gekregen voor de rest van ons verblijf. We had such a great time with Jose! He showed us some really great hidden food spots as well as making a few additional stops to show us his favorite parts of the city. He catered the menu to a dietary restriction which we appreciated. Jose is a very friendly and easy going guide who entertained us for a bit more than the alloted three hour tour. He seemed more like a friend by the end of the tour rather than a guide. We did the off the beaten path tour. If I did it again, I might include a bit more of the typical sites. Very helpful pointing out where the locals frequent with good eatery recommendations.
