I booked a tour of Sagrada Familia with Alessandro as a way to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. It was his first time in Spain and I wanted to do something really special on the big day. I had never before scheduled a private tour without going through a hotel concierge so I wasn't sure what to expect, but am SO glad that I went this route and will definitely do so again in the future! Alessandro is kind, knowledgable, and passionate about history, art and culture. He made our time fun, interesting and incredibly memorable. I made a few requests in advance of our time together, and Alessandro was more than happy to oblige. He responded promptly to chat messages, we met him right on time, he got us past all the lines, handled the purchasing of our tickets in advance, and gave us tons of insight and information we would not have otherwise had. I had the pleasure of having a tour with Alessandro on my recent trip to Barcelona. We walked all over the Gothic Quarter, the Jewish Quarter, La Rambla, the Roman Temple of Augustus, Cathedral of Barcelona, and so much more. He was so knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona, the culture, the people. He pointed out little things here and there that as a casual tourist you would never notice. While on our cruise, we realized we had 3.5 hours after we disembarked in Barcelona before we needed to check in for our flight. After an awesome Barcelona pre-cruise food tour with Vicky, we decided we wanted her to pick us up at the Cruise Port, see some more of Barcelona and then drop us off at the airport. Vicky developed an itinerary with the cost, emailed it to me for approval and then she and the driver picked us up at the Cruise Port. Another awesome tour of a wonderful city with a rich history, culture and food. We stopped and toured around the Olympic Village and walked along the beach. We stopped at a noted Paella restaurant for a very tasteful lunch. After taking a post lunch walk and visiting two Chocolate stores, it was time to head to the airport. Highly recommend that you engage Vicky in any tour that she leads! She has become family and we can’t wait to visit Barcelona again to have her show us more highlights. We booked a walking tour with Ellie pretty late the night before we wanted to meet with her for a tour. We sent her a couple of questions about the tour and was hoping she'd see the questions before we planned out the day prior to our meeting. She contacted us promptly the next morning, answered the questions and set up the meeting. She was very vigilant in making sure we were all together, had great, up-front views of the buildings, and were protected from some of the distractions around the city. Not only was her tour of Gaudi's architectures very in-depth but the way she weaved the back stories lent life and character to his works. Rather than seeing just a building, we saw Gaudi's emotion, dreams, and his reality in the works of art. After this tour, I have a much greater appreciation for Gaudi's work and life's work. Ellie was great in making sure all of our teen and pre-teenagers were included in the tour and could see what she was describing. Her knowledge of city of Barcelona, the Catalan culture, the rich history was remarkable and her unique point of view was refreshing. She took a genuine interest in our background so as to better be able to relate Gaudi's story in a way that we could better relate and understand. I would highly recommend a tour with Ellie. She has an admirable passion for her trade and is a library of wonderful knowledge. My only wish was that I could stay in Barcelona longer so that I could take other tours with Ellie. We loved the walking food tour with our guide. We were a family of 4, with an 11-year-old child. She made it fun and interesting for all of us. We learned about the history of Barcelona and saw some interesting things along the way to the restaurants, like a folk festival with dancing and a band, and a parade as well. The tapas we got to pick out at the restaurant were enough to count as a meal. The dessert we had at the restaurant next door was heavenly!Great food tour in Barcelona!

My wife Carrie and I had a great tour with John. We had not been on a bike in years yet John seemed to be able to lead us through the hustle and bustle of Barcelona leading the way with ease. We were joining a larger group tour 2 days after our arrival in Barcelona. We asked Alessandro to arrange a walking tour that would visit other areas of the city and not overlap the group tour itinerary. We also asked to arrange a day trip out of Barcelona. After providing our interests, we left the rest to him. He provided a suggested itinerary and reserved the entry tickets and train tickets ahead of time so that everything went smoothly His educational background in history was obvious. We liked our time with Laura. She was punctual and pleasant. We appreciated her flexibility during the planning stage and she was quick to respond and suggest tweaks to the plan. The actual “tour” was ok - she provided high level overview of various Gaudí buildings however the depth was lacking - we had higher expectations given her architectural background however she only provided very high level information which was somewhat disappointing. Overall if you are looking for a nice walk through Barcelona and high level overview of Gaudí and his creations Laura works be a good choice. If you are looking for an in depth dive into the architecture and architect - looks elsewhere. Good high level overview of Gaudi and city
