I booked this course for my 2 kids and myself , and we all had a great time ! Gianpaolo came to pick us up at our hotel which is a huge plus - and drove us back afterwards of course. We felt very welcome and at ease straightaway. We had a lot of fun together as a family making, then eating the pizzas on Gianpaolo's terrasse. Going for a walk and getting a lovely ice cream afterwards was a great ending to a memorable evening. Thanks you Gianpaolo !! Fantastic from start to finish

We had a very nice tour with Gianpaolo and Mimo. The boat tour around the bay was very interesting and gave a good insight into the history of the bay. I have always been interested in learning more about the historic and volcanically active area west of Naple. Gianpaolo took us out of crazy traffic in Naples and toured us around his home town area where traffic is less hectic. We saw recently active volcanoes and caulderas, Roman temples, bathes, an old Spanish fort and finished up at a Roman amphitheater about half the size of the Coluseum in Rome. Gianpaolo's knowledge of the area along with his good humour and excellent speaking ability in English helped make this a very enjoyable trip. We recommend him 100%! Gianpaolo was friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. He gave us a wonderful tour and explained about the history of the city as well as showing us lots of different foods - definitely come hungry! It was very hot due to the heatwave and we would advise bring water with you as not all food offerings came with a drink and after walking down the hill we were hot and thirsty but otherwise it was a great experience and a wonderful introduction to Naples and the food.Fantastico

You can’t go wrong with Gianpaolo! The tour with him was so much fun- he brought us up to enjoy one of the best views of the city with a glass of Prosecco and then took us down to the historic center to taste everything that Naples has to offer. He was knowledgeable, funny, and overall just awesome tour guide! Also- he gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants and tips for the rest of our trip that made our vacation so much better! This was a wonderful experience. He had us start at the top of hill with a breathtaking view of the city. We then chatted as we walked down hill and through the streets sampling the food. Prepare for a good time. So, I had only one day in Naples and I walked around earlier I n the afternoon. I had a 3-hour walking food tour with Gianpaolo from 6-9pm. All I can say was WOW. I felt like I did 8-hours worth of fun with him in just a short 3-hour block of time. We met, talked Naples history, went for a stunning city view, then popped into various places for genuinely Napoli food (drinks, staples and desserts). He was super conversational and I learned a lot from his stories. I’m sad I did not stay longer in Naples. I must come back and I will look up Gianpaolo for more of his tours. Highly, highly recommend. Had I not done this tour I would have missed on on what to eat, what to know about Naploli, and as a solo traveler, I would have had fewer memories to take back home. Well worth the money. Gianpaolo was a phenomenally geeat guide

Gianpaolo was a late substitute as our original guide developed a conflict, but he did an amazing job! We started at the top of Napoli as sunset approached, overlooking the central city with a Prosecco toast. After opting to ride the Funicular down due to rainy conditions, we spent a delightful evening tasting fried treats, delicious ziti napoliano in ragù, pizza portafoglio, and several sweet treats. Throughout Gianpaolo shared his live for the city as well as answering our questions about life in Napoli. We had a great time, as did our sons (23 and 12). No need to eat after this tour - you will be full! Note: lots of walking on this tour - wouldn’t have been a problem except we had just finished walking all over Pompeii, but Gianpaolo was very patient and gave plenty of tasty breaks. Highly recommend!Great local food experience!

We did the food tour with Gianpaolo and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would not hesitate to do another with him. Food first - everywhere he took us was interesting, authentic, and so tasty! And what we also appreciated was that there was no pressure to eat everything. Which might sound a bit crazy, but we had done another one elsewhere, and hadn’t paced ourselves which meant we couldn’t enjoy the last few stops. With Gianpaolo he gently reminded us throughout to not feel obliged to eat everything - so we managed every stop and still felt good at the end. Gianpaolo himself - he was full of interesting facts and anecdotes, he pointed out interesting places, he balanced chatting away to us with also giving us space to look around, ponder and chat amongst ourselves. It was an excellent introduction to Naples. A thoroughly enjoyable tour

We couldn’t ask for a better guide than Gianpaolo! Every food stop that we made was amazing, and he is very knowledgeable about Napoli’s history, the various neighborhoods, and, of course, S.S.C. Gianpaolo was great every step of the way! We took a trip through the Amalfi coast and it was a very relaxed, take your time tour. Absolutely no rush, just taking it all in(amazing panoramic views) and all the while having cool conversations with Gianpaolo. We mostly stayed away from tours on our trip but this was totally worth it and more so in the Amalfi coast where you're hopping between towns and moving through out the day. Awesome all day expirience!

Gianpaolo was a great guide for me., conversation was easy and we spoke of the region, and language throughout the day. I didn’t have much time to explore the region on my own but I really wanted to get the highlights. To know what to comeback to for a deeper dive. We moved at the speed I wanted pausing to look into a few shops here and there or take photos. I didn’t feel stuck in the car or like we wasted time on things I wasn’t interested in. Our half-day Tastes of Naples tour with Gianpaolo was great fun for our family of four (which cannot be said for every experience with teenagers)! We all loved Gianpaolo's easygoing nature, local information, and especially his chauffeuring. I can't imagine doing a first trip to Naples without a guide, and Gianpaolo led us expertly through the historic center, stopping at the most important places--for food! We did the Amalfi coast tour with Gianpaolo and it was the best use of our day. We got to see so many little things that others would have missed. Gianpalo was so accommodating and fun to chat with. We did the tour of the Almafi coast with Gianpaolo and it couldn't have gone better! He was extremely friendly, kind, funny, sociable and patient whenever we would take lots of pics haha. We spent about 10 hours with him and left with the feeling of him being a true friend. He show us more than we thought we were going to see, never rushed us, planned & specialized the tour just for us and overall provided the absolute best experience for us.
