Overall, we were disappointed with the experience. While the tour guide was friendly and we were able to see parts of the city, the interaction often felt awkward as the guide never made eye contact with us. This lack of engagement made it difficult to start a conversation, and large portions of the tour were spent in silence. In addition, the advertised theme of the tour was unfortunately not delivered. We had booked the Hausmann Tour, which promised “stories of transformation, architecture, and design,” but what we received was essentially a standard Paris city tour, including explanations of basic concepts such as a zebra crossing. Overall, the tour did not meet the expectations set by its description, and the guide’s skills appeared to be, at best, average.Paris Tour

Although we have been to Paris several times, Anukool still managed to surprise us with his excellent knowledge and enthusiasm for this wonderful city. He took us to the museum of Paris and there he bought to life the complex history of Paris. Anukool is an excellent guide … friendly and informative. We did a walking tour of The Marais with Welly and I have to say it was absolutely fantastic. My partner and I have been to Paris about 9 times between us so on this trip we wanted to try something different so decided to go with a private tour to get learn about the history of the area and also see things we just wouldn’t see on our own and that is exactly what we got. Welly tailored to tour to what we wanted to see. He was an absolute wealth of knowledge about Paris and the Marais area. We learnt history from the inception of Paris right through to WWII and the more recent history of the Marais region particularly. We had an interest in the Jewish history of the area and Welly was able to meet those needs perfectly. We whole heartedly recommend Welly for a tour. Welly was so wonderful at communicating with us before our tour to ensure we had exactly the day we wanted. Our tour went at the pace we needed (slower after many days of walking) and focused on sights and history according to our interests. I do a lot of tours all over the world and I can say quite confidently this was up there with the best. Mainly because Welly really knows his stuff, speaks perfect Engliwh, and balances well between being dwtailed and informative while still presenting Paris in a fun, engaging way. Anukool helped us get the most out of our time in Paris. Our group spent 6 hours him during which time he showed us major historical sites, lesser known attractions, and some hidden gems of Paris. I have visited Paris on another two occasions but this visit was certainly the standout and most memorable and I think part of this was because we kicked off our time in Paris with a fabulous walking tour through the streets with Welly as our tour guide. We really loved getting to hear more about the history of this wonderful city and have a local take us through some of the notable but maybe less touristy and less well known sites that were local to Saint Germaine where we stayed. Having a tour flexible to our preferences and from a local gave us a whole new perspective and insights into Paris we personally found to be valuable and something we got more from than a standard hop on hop off tour that is more touristy and covers the sites everyone knows. Welly was also great at sharing information and planning a tour that engaged our children ages 11 and 13 and answering their questions. He was patient with them and his English was easily understood by us Australians with limited French language skills! Lastly he really took note of our interests and preferences during the tour and afterwards sent us a lovely bunch of recommendations crafted to our personal interests that were convenient to where we were staying in terms of restaurants, shopping and places to visit. We found this personalised touch very thoughtful and useful. I am so glad we booked this tour with Welly and believe it really helped us all fall in love with Paris. We will be back again! Everything went extremely well and he customized our tour just as we asked taking us around to "hidden gems." We met Welly for a 3 hour tour on our first morning in Paris. Welly curated a walking tour for our family through a series of neighborhoods we were most interested in. This tour was satisfactory but didn’t blow us away. Our guide, Anukool was friendly and had some great historical knowledge. However, we had to put him back on track a few times as he would drift into conversation about sports or travel elsewhere, we really wanted to learn as much as possible about the St. Germain area and the tour was a bit loose / not structured. Anukool also arrived 15 minutes late and we ran almost an hour over time. Which was fine but might’ve left people who had later plans not getting the full experience. Walking tour. Latin District

My wife and I booked an afternoon tour with Anukool around Montmatre. Met Anukool and he is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy who gave us a great tour of the area and told us many things we would not have learned if we had done this on our own. He recommended some great places to visit and eat. Montmatre as a area is well worth visiting and whilst there are the obvious attractions such as Sacre Couer there also many hidden gems. My 21 year old son and I had the best morning with Anukool. He took us to the most fabulous places to taste French delicacies each one better than the last.
