Lucia ist eine sehr nette Person, sie weiß unglaublich viel zu Lissabons Geschichte und den Vierteln. Sie geht super auf die Kinder ein und gestaltet die Führung sehr entspannt und kurzweilig. We truly enjoyed our tour with Inês. She was extremely accommodating and ensured we learned a lot at a pace that felt reasonable for everyone in our group. Inês is extremely friendly and quickly won over our 6- and 8-year olds by sharing fun facts about each of the places that we saw as well as their interests, which she asked for ahead of time. She was a wealth of information on Lisboa and also gave us great advice for the remainder of our trip. She was thoughtful to build in breaks and fun stops for the kids. André was timely, so knowledgeable, funny, patient and ressourceful. He was very patient with our 3 kids (15,12 and 9) who spent 30min in the oldest bookstore atop in business. He had great and funny stories that our kids engaged and provided great addresses for restaurant and pastries. Despite the extreme heat, he offered us a 3h tour and took the metro with us all the way to the restaurant. He is a true historian that loves to share his passion or Portugal. Wir (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) haben in 3 Stunden einen tollen Einblick sowohl in die Stadt, als auch ein wenig in die portugiesische Mentalität erhalten und waren sehr glücklich mit unserer Entscheidung für Lucia. Sonia was great! We had a great time even though it rained for some parts of the tour. She was very attentive and flexible and allowed us to go at our own pace. We booked her for a walking tour for our family of four (me, my wife, our 4 and half year old son, and our 7 month old daughter). We had a stroller for our son and my wife and I took turns carrying our daughter in the baby carrier on our chest. Lisbon is known to be hilly, but the tour was not strenuous. We got to sample the famous custard pastries and the cherry liqueur (served in a tiny chocolate cup). Sonia provided us with interesting factoids and insights about the city. This was our first time visiting Portugal and we wish we had a couple more days to continue exploring and experiencing Lisbon. We would highly recommend Sonia as your tour guide! We did the Family Friendly Lisbon tour with Rita on our second day in Lisbon and loved it. We have two boy aged 6 and 3 and while it was a lot of walking for our oldest (the youngest was in the stroller), Rita made sure to take lots of breaks and show us fun playground for the kids so they wouldn't get bored. She helped keep them entertained while educating us on the different neighborhoods of Lisbon and where to go and what to avoid. The icing on the cake was the trip to Santinis for the best gelato we ever had and I think we visited that store 4 more times while we were there. If you're going to Lisbon with kids, make sure to book a tour with Rita. PS - She also made herself available on WhatsApp for general recommendations and advice, which was a game changer when we weren't sure what to do or to go to one place vs. another.Amazing family tour - great for young kids

Before we even started the tour, Angelo was kind and accommodating. My husband and I were travelling with my elderly parents and our 6-year-old daughter. My father has some mobility limitations, and Angelo was extraordinarily accommodating by meeting us at our centrally-located hotel, taking a very slow pace for the tour and adjusting the tour with frequent breaks and routes that allowed us all to participate. Angelo possesses an infectious love of his home city, Lisbon, and shared amazing stories and historical facts about the city with us. Angelo also finished the tour by forwarding many suggestions to us for places to eat and other things to do/see. Lucia hat uns am ersten Urlaubstag Lissabons Zentrum gezeigt und auch Historie, Politik usw Portugals erläutert. Unsere Runde war trotz der hochsommerlichen Temperaturen sehr gut gewählt, so dass wir aufwärts mit Liften unterwegs waren und oft in schattigen Gassen dahin geschlendert sind. Zu vielen schönen Aussichtspunkten und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zwischendurch auch eine tolle kulinarische Pause mit Rast in einem Café bei ausgezeichneten Pastel de Nata. Sie spricht super Deutsch, so dass es auch für unseren Sohn (8) passte. Und zum Abschluss gab sie uns noch weitere Empfehlungen für die nächsten Tage in Lissabon... We had the most excellent experience with André as our guide. We, family with 3 teenagers, did a very relaxed city tour. André was very knowledgeable, and not only mentioning names and numbers, but he made really nice stories and surprised us with fun facts. This was very entertaining to all of us. Two days after the tour he helped us out when another tour was canceled. Without any benefit for himself, he managed to get us last minute of an alternative tour, that turned out great as wel. An absolute win starting off our holiday in Portugal with "withlocals". The experience provided a base for further "withlocal" tours we did in other cities. Our family of 5 had a lovely afternoon with Jorge getting oriented in Lisbon. We started at Miradouro de Sao Pedro de Alcantara. The kids were entertained by a guy making humongous bubbles while Jorge gave us a history lesson on Lisbon while pointing out places from our beautiful viewpoint we were at as well as showing us on maps he had. We stopped multiple times to get snacks including pastel de nata, cod cakes and gelato. We covered a lot of ground on our tour but had ample breaks to rest. We visited many places including the Elevador de Santa Justa which was probably my favorite stop and we finished at São Jorge Castle to see the peacocks and take in some more great views of this beautiful city. Jorge was a very informative guide and I would recommend him. That being said Withlocals changed our tour guide twice after I booked originally.Lovely afternoon with Jorge

We took a tour with André and he was wonderful! He had a group of 7 with 3 small children and a handicapped family member. Aside from just one section with some stairs, he was able to make the entire tour wheelchair and stroller accessible for us. We were so afraid we wouldn’t be able to do a walking tour of Lisbon, and André made it possible. He was very knowledgeable and you could see his passion for the history of the country and city. He recommended some fantastic restaurants for us to try for lunch and dinner as well. He was also great about keeping in touch and answering questions for us while we were still in Lisbon. Angelo was an excellent tour guide!! We had such a great experience walking around Lisbon with him. Our group was 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 12, 8, and 5). He was so good with the kids and showed them a video about the city. He engaged them by asking them questions and seeing if they could memorize some important dates. It's been over a month and they still remember the dates. He was very patient when the kids were slow moving and even adjusted the tour based on their needs. The kids especially loved using the local transportation and riding a bunch of escalators to keep from having to walk up big hills. Angelo also tailored the tour to include things we requested such as Pastel de Nata (so extremely delicious!! ) and Ginjinha (cherry liqueur). Luis was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, patient and flexible. He knew the city in and out and took us to places we would have never seen on our own . I would highly recommend a tour with him. Family with littles
