It was way too fast we did not take the time at all to eat , as soon we were sitting we were already living a place. We told our guide we were disappointed but it’s more than this, it feels we were scammed more than anything for the price we pay. English was so so as well and we did not learn at all from a local perspective. A disappointment and scam in my opinion Too fast, rushing, nothing locals

We are no strangers to great Korean food but Sanghee Priscilla led our group of 4 through Gwangjang Market and made the entire experience so fun and relaxed. We were so grateful for her recommendations and by the end of our time together, we all felt like we had made a new friend. She was really prompt in her communications beforehand and took my son’s nut allergy into careful consideration. 100% recommend any tour Sanghee Priscilla would give! Sanghee Priscilla is the best!

Our food tour with Sanghee was a travel highlight OF MY LIFE. She knows her way around Gwangjang market like a pro, best seats, best tastes and she is a brilliant conversationalist, fascinating, engaging and sets a great pace. Our group of three, aged 65, 54 and 22 were equally enthralled throughout this culinary, cultural, social, political adventure - lots of tidbits about how Netflix has infiltrated the market and changed the fortunes of a lucky few while the rest just keep on loughing on. We got to eat Cho's handmade noodles and even watch her make them. And the kim chi dumplings OH MY GOD! This remains a busy place for locals too as well as a scattering of tourists. I ate some of the best food of my life and woke up thinking about the "drug bimbap" - the delicious seaweed wrapped warm rice treats that even Gordon Ramsay couldn't resist. We end the tour with a queue for the world famous twisted doughnuts that Bree Larson keens talking about and they don't disappoint. Best tour ever. And sochu in a chilled bar with Sanghee at the very end was icing on the cake. YUM YUM YUM. There's a very good reason why people keep exploring the town with Sanghee, she is a living treasure of wonderfulness. Bucket-list with truly wonderful Sanghee.

Die koreanische Küche unterscheidet sich gänzlich von der kontinentaleuropäischen Küche. Aber das macht sie nicht weniger geschmackvoll. Um in die Foodmarkets einzutauchen sollte ein Einheimischer an ihrer Seite stehen. Shanhee erklärte mir zuerst die koreanischen Essgewohnheiten, bevor wir dann bei den einzelnen Ständen die verschiedensten Snacks kosteten. Darunter möchte ich vor allem die Dumblings, die koreanischen Gnocci mit scharfer Sauce und die koreanischen Donuts hervorheben. Abgerundet wurde die Tour mit einem korenischen Milcheise (das beste gibt es aber in der DMZ!). Ich kann die Tour nur wärmstens empfehlen. Machen Sie die Tour unbedingt am Anfang Ihrer Reise! Korean cuisine is completely different from continental European cuisine. But that doesn't make it any less flavourful. To immerse yourself in the food markets, you should have a local by your side. Shanhee first explained the Korean eating habits to me before we tasted the various snacks at the individual stalls. I would particularly like to emphasise the dumblings, Korean gnocci with spicy sauce and Korean donuts.The tour was rounded off with a Korean milk ice cream (but the best is in the DMZ!). I can highly recommend the tour. Make sure you take the tour at the beginning of your trip!A must in Seoul

I don't know if Sanghee remembers, but we were two Canadian tourists this summer and we visited a very busy market. Sanghee is friendly and will tailor the tour not only to your tastes but also to your dietary restrictions. She makes the experience very comfortable, memorable and offers a very varied itinerary. She also knows so much abou different topics. You will have the opportunity to experience Seoul and Korean food outside of the tourist staples and you will be very satisfied. Also, always take the bottle of makgeolli! Two is even better.. Very late review

Williams was the perfect dinner host. We arrived hungry and left totally stuffed with delicious food. Despite the pouring rain, Williams was accomodating and a great conversationalist. As I shoved excitedly through the passageways of the busy markets searching for the next taste of Seoul with Williams, I realize... I fell in love fast & hard with Korean food thanks to him! When your job is your passion it’s not ‘work.’ Pride is taken in what is produced. As a client of Williams’ & a Travel Firm owner, this was evident to me by the high quality tour that he delivered. Williams was a great tour guide and host. We have 3 children (3, 6. & 12). He was very patient with all our bathroom breaks and stroller pushing, he even helped the kids out during our meals. Williams is very knowledgeable of the Korean culture and fluent in the language, he is also very well know not only by the vendors he took us to but by the others we passed, it seemed that the other vendors may have been jealous that he was not taking us to their spots( Williams is also a know local food blogger and personality here). The food we experienced on our customized and affordable tour was so good, he even allowed us to stop as we wished to learn about other foods we passed. You must go with him to the famous dumpling place that was featured on Netflix that lady can cook! We will without a doubt book him when we return and we highly recommend him as he is an absolute expert in Korean food and he know the Seoul food spots like the back of his hand!. Jason is a one-of-a-kind private tour guide. I was on the lookout for a tour guide with three key qualities: great communication skills, a charming personality, and a wealth of knowledge. He was super responsive to my messages. He really listened to what I wanted to see or do in Seoul. He even made sure his tour itinerary was all about what I wanted to get out of it. Jason was a great tour guide! There were 5 of us and he made sure to pick us up at our hotel and have a very nice van available that fit us all. We previously gave him some ideas of what we would like to do, and he accommodated to them very well. He took lots of family pictures and videos for us dressed in hanboks at a palace. He also took us to a restaurant and a cafe away from the city with the best mountain view! My mother-in-law had lost her glasses on the bus the night before, so he took us to a glasses store where they were able to give her an eye exam for a new pair. It was very helpful having him with us because it would have been very difficult to speak with them since we didn't know Korean. He also helped us pick out the perfect pair as well as had them delivered to our hotel! He even checked back with us to let us know they had been delivered. We ate lunch and dinner with him at delicious restaurants and made sure there was something for all of us to eat (mother-in-law is a vegetarian) and he felt like part of our family. My kids are 14 and 17 so he made sure to do things that they were able to enjoy. He was a great tour guide, and I am glad to have chosen him!!Tour of Seoul!
