Thanks to Bibiana, my family and I had the opportunity to spend a very pleasant evening at the Louvre. Bibiana took care of buying the tickets in advance (which on our day were free and we didn't have to pay) and quickly helped us skip all the lines. We then decided together on the visit that best suited our needs considering that we only had two hours and also a teenager with us. Bibiana is very knowledgeable and passionate about art and was very patient in answering all our questions. Her enthusiasm was contagious and made us want to return for a more in-depth visit. We loved our time with Bibiana! She was so sweet and did such a good job making the Louvre interesting to our 11, 14 and 17 year olds! We learned a lot and had a good time. When we talked about it afterwards, our 11-year-old said "I'm really glad we had a guide! I learned so much that I wouldn't have otherwise". That really sums it up! Delightful host and experience!!

Booked a private tour guide for the Louvre through WithLocals for our honeymoon in Paris. Such an amazing experience to see iconic works of art, but also to get to know the history and importance of these pieces. Hugo was professional and overwhelmingly knowledgeable, but made the learning experience laid back and loads of fun. His English and education is impressive to say the least! We chose to book a time slot at the Louvre on a Friday evening and had the unique experience of having the museum “nearly” all to ourselves. Hugo made sure to show us the must see exhibits as well as the historically or artistically most important works as well. He was kind enough to take photos of us throughout the tour and ensured that we had an evening to remember. This was a one of a kind experience and we highly recommend booking with Hugo. Emilie was great at communicating before our visit about meeting and tickets. She kept us on schedule and showed us a large variety of the collection in only 2 hours which I know we could not have done on our own. She also was informative about the art without being dry. Bibiana was a great communicator. She helped us navigate everything and we didn't have to wait in any of the lines. Since this was our first time, she started by explaining the building's history itself and how it came to be a public museum, which was really interesting. Then we covered three main areas and periods of work. Two hours is not terribly long but we got through a lot of things and it made it so much more enjoyable than if I had wandered around myself unsure of why I should be interested in different pieces. Lovely first experience at the Louvre

The Paris Saint-Oeun flea market can be overwhelming! In fact, my husband and I have bern there many times. Our tour with Lucien made all the difference! He’s smart and interesting as well as flexible. We hired Hugo for a tour of the Louvre in January 2024 and found him to be extremely knowledgeable, very interesting, funny, and just a bit irreverent in the best possible way. This January we had friends visiting with us and since we had such a great experience the year before, we hired Hugo again. All of our friends agreed, Hugo makes such a large museum as the Louvre completely approachable, covers all the highlights with wonderful anecdotes and histories and leaves you at the end of the tour with insights and a plan for the remainder of your museum visit. Bibiana was excellent and prompt with all communication, very knowledgeable about the Louvre, art history, etc. She was very nice and helpful throughout preplanning and the tour, she made all members of our group comfortable from baby in stroller to adults. I can’t fathom doing the louvre without a private guide, it’s so insanely crowded and huge, even just entering is an ordeal, but not with Bibiana. She knew just how to move us through the crowd and skip the lines and navigate the huge museum. She also helped us to understand why the most famous pieces are famous and really expanded our knowledge of the renaissance. Thank you! Great tour, wonderful guide.

We booked Lucien for our visit to the Lourve, and we definitely found the right person! We were late and Lucien was able to get us in quickly which was amazing! He was very enthusiastic about everything in the Lourve, our 2.5 hours tour was way too short! Lucien gave us a very interesting and informative tour which was exactly what we were looking for! My daughter is 11 years old and she thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Lucien was very easy going, he was happy to show us the sections that we were more interested in (which was not in the itinerary). Fernanda was incredibly knowledgable and gave us an overview of art styles and techniques on a whirlwind tour of the Louvre. We adjusted to do a 3 hour tour so we could see more, and we were all glad we did. Obviously there's a lot of the Louvre we couldn't see in 3 hours, but she got us to the big famous pieces more efficiently than we could have on our own and provided a narrative of artistic development, meanings, and context for a lot of pieces. It's costly to hire an educated and well-versed guide but for those who can afford it, I highly recommend Fernanda who made the visit to the Louvre more informative and cohesive - and so more memorable- than just viewing discrete works on our own. We were 2 adults, a 10yo and a 14yo and all of us greatly appreciated Fernanda's tour. Fantastic tour of the Louvre

We booked our Montmartre tour with Max on a rainy and gloomy winter day. Max was a great sport, led us through hidden alleys and passageways. We stopped to warm up in churches and coffee shop. The area is spectacular and it helped to have a knowledgeable guide to discover gems off the beaten path. Maxime is a history and art buff, and will gladly engage in philosophical and cultural discussions. Book him if these subjects resonate with you too.
