Jon provided excellent support for our 3 day visit to Singapore. Comms were good during planning and Jon gave us a good tour through the areas we were interested in. My wife has mobility issues and that never held us back with great drop-off/pick-ups and use of a wheelchair. I would recommend Jon as a guide in Singapore.Excellent support in Singapore

I had a fantastic time exploring Singapore with Jon. Jon is a great guide. He is extremely knowledgeable, witty and charming. We started the tour at 5:30 pm so we could see some of the sights during the day and others at night. I am unable to walk long distances and Jon tailored the tour to our needs. Jon's car is very comfortable and easy to get into and out of. Even though it was raining, his knowledge and passion for the city's history made the tour very enjoyable. Jon was prepared with umbrellas for us and made sure we were dry as we went from place to place. We walked Haji Lane and learned about the mosque in Kampong Glam, saw Little India and ate a wonderful vegetarian dinner in Chinatown next to the temple. Thanks to Joh, helping to order for us, we had two huge plates of food (more than we could eat) for only $8SG. We got to see everything we asked to except for the Merlion, as it was raining so hard that Jon said we would be wetter than it, if we tried to get out and see it. Jon kept us engaged as we traveled asking us questions testing our knowledge and filling in the gaps. Would highly recommend Jon to anyone looking for a private tour of Singapore.Great

we spent some eventful hours with Jon on a city tour in Singapore. He is a passionate Singaporean with a lot of knowledge about the city and the people who live here. He was very flexible in adapting the tour to our needs and we felt very comfortable with him due to his friendly and helpful nature. My husband and I specially booked a city tour with a car, as I am walking disabled and can no longer walk long distances. Jon always found good parking so I didn't have to walk so far and even got a wheelchair whenever necessary to make me as comfortable as possible. we got a lot of insight knowledge about singapore through him and through his humorous way and the interesting mediation it was never boring for us on the tour. Since we were still with him after the city tour in a restaurant for lunch, we can also highly recommend him as a food expert. We liked the day tour with Jon so much that we also booked him a second time on our last evening for a tour with lightshow in the Garden of the Bay. Also on this tour everything was perfectly organized, he thought of everything (mat to sit on, mosquito protection, snacks and cold beer) and gave us a great ending. Jon’s private Singapore tour is the best way to spend three hours during transit. My wife, myself and our daughter went on this private tour recently. Jon is knowledgeable and combines his commentaries with humour. He picks up on your likes and tastes very quickly and customises the tour for you that you actually end up seeing all that you wanted to see in three hours without feeling rushed. He was punctual, the vehicle was tidy and comfortable and went out of his way to help. His price was also better than the other ones we saw. I booked a private car tour for myself, husband and 2 kids ages 5 and 8. The ship was late being cleared at Singapore terminal but our local guide, Jon, was waiting patiently for us at the gate. We had requested a tour to refresh our minds of the layout and places to see in Singapore (as we had been there before) and we had some time to kill before checking into our hotel. Jon took us to both familiar and unfamiliar places and gave us time to get out and walk about and take photos at several stops, and was more than willing to take shots of us if we wished. He was very knowledgeable, and answered any questions we had...as well as asking us questions to see what we knew/needed to know. When we stopped in "little India" he asked if I would like to have a henna pattern on my hand. I had been curious about the process for some time. He took me to a man who had a book of patterns. I chose one and the process was quick and produced an amazingly delicate pattern in a short time...he had obviously been doing this all his life! Meanwhile Jon changed some money for me so that I could pay for it. Jon helped me with customs pertaining to lighting incense in the old Buddhist temple, and in informing me on how to behave and where to go in the huge new temple to see the Buddha relics on the top floor. He was well spoken, a good driver and knew Singapore well. I would recommend him for any tours of Singapore you may be contemplating.Enjoy your visit to Singapore, with Jon.

We had an 8 hr layover in Singapore and chose Jon to take us around the city. Jon met us at the airport, took us around to several sites and made our layover fly by! Our daughter wanted dumplings while in Singapore and Jon took us to an excellent restaurant which made her day. It was great having a private tour guide just waiting to take you wherever you wanted. We had a great time with Jon on our tour of Singapore yesterday. He is so helpful and friendly and boy does he know his stuff about this city. We communicated regularly during the planning phase of the trip and he was so accommodating to all of my requests. On the day of the tour he arrived early and was waiting for us at the hotel. His vehicle is large, super comfortable and immaculate. Before we headed off he confirmed all the places I wanted to go then we took off. He covered all my requests plus so much more. We visited special places that we never heard about that we that we loved and he taught us so much about all the places we visited in a fun and entertaining style. Fantastic airport pick up and overview tour of Singapore before our 3;00 pm check in time at our hotel. Helped us to plan our stay and a great way to see everything in several hours. It was a rainy day so also a great way to see the city without getting totally soaked. Jon had interesting stories & perspectives to give us knowledge about Singapore’s history & architecture and neighborhoods. He had lots of great suggestions on eating, shopping, activities and even places to stay, as we were open to moving hotels for second half of week to see a new area. Fantastic overview in 4 hrs!!

Where do I start. Starting from the reservation, Jon was super flexible and planned the trip based on my interest. He walked me through the singapore history start to current in very catchy and humorous way, even person like me that's not too much into history was intrigued with the stories he told. If you stop in Singapore for a Layover, this tour is perfect for you. Since we had more time than just "3 hours", I wrote Jon in advance and he made us a custom offer for 3 people and a 5h tour. So glad we were lucky enough to find Jon during our search for a tour guide in Singapore. We arrived early morning to catch a cruise ship in the afternoon. Jon was great ... we started with a personalized tour of the City. He was a guide, historian, cultural scholar, food expert and critic, and story teller and entertainer. At the end of the tour he suggested an itinerary for us to follow for the next few days, then noticing my wife's mobility issues he organised a wheelchair hire to enhance our sightseeing. He also provided transport for us on one of our sightseeing trips, and for our return to the Airport. On our previous time in Singapore, we had toured many of the highlights. This time we wanted something different, a visit to some of Singapore's diverse neighbourhoods. Jon was a great guide in Singapore. He was meticulous, precise and willing to accompany us in just 3 hours (the time of the stopover at the airport) to see the major attractions of the city. He was also very kind to organize us a little surprise in the botanical park: during the light show he brought us fresh watermelon and snacks to have a little picnic. We honestly can't praise Jon enough. I mentioned in my initial contact with him that I had reduced mobility and he turned up with a wheel chair for my use. His car was wonderful and spacious and his manner was exemplary. He was kind, charming, very thoughtful and helpful. He made our all too short a time in Singapore so enjoyable. I was staying in Singapore about 36 hours on a long layover and booked two Withlocals tours and I’m so glad I spent some of that time on a tour with Jon! He was so kind and knowledgeable and personable. I really enjoyed learning about the various places in the city we ventured to and why they were important to the culture of Singapore. I loved leanring about the significance of the diversity and the history of the people and where they came from. I have rarely ever found myself traveling alone globally, but Jon made me feel right at home. He picked me up from my hotel in his very nice/new/comfortable van. It was raining almost the entire day but he was well equipped with umbrellas for both of us. He tailored the trip to things I hadn’t yet seen and he took PLENTY of pictures for me.
