Daniela was a fantastic guide! So kind and caring. Provided a personal look at popular and hidden Mallorca sights and history. Very knowledgeable about the land. Wonderful English and translator with the locals. We saw off the path hidden sights as well as some of the more popular areas. We had a really lovely day with Daniela. We had been in contact before the day and she organised the perfect itinerary. A mixture of culture, views and gardens. When a serious accident blocked the coast road and made us turn back she managed to find a lovely alternative place for lunch and still get us to the beautiful Alfabia gardens. Daniela was a terrific host! She was able to squeeze us in at the last minute and provided a unique and very well paced tour. We left the planning to her and she did a great job of working around the crowds and taking us off the beaten track. We enjoyed an early walk through a near empty Jardines de Alfabia, a scenic mountain drive, a lovely lunch on a secluded village restaurant terrace and a stroll through lively Valdemossa with an afternoon snack of almond cake and cortado. She was gracious and easy to talk to. An extra plus is that she is a very good driver! We highly recommend this tour!Lovely day in Mallorca

The foodies was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and Billy´s fun personality and knowledge of where to go and hang out. My Husband and I booked a wine farm tour with Billy, he took us to several vineyards, all very different. What an amazing day we had... The first was a prestigious, and informative winery where we had a taste of varied and specialised wines of the region, it was one of the highlights.. We then visited a family run farm, this, for me was spectacular, a four generation business that was able to show my husband and I how the wine was farmed from the vine to the bottle. The last stop was a winery where we were able to have our wine tasting with some delicious tapas in the most spectacular setting.. Our tour with Cesar was great! His knowledge of the local history was impressive and very informative. Our ship arrived at port a little late and he was kind enough to adjust his schedule to accommodate our late arrival. Valldemossa is a beautiful town and a must see, especially for Chopin fans. He treated us to a special Valldemossa sweet bread...Coques de Patata, which was yummy! He also customized the tour for us by showing us Deia and Palma. My only negative comment is that the car is a little small for 4 people. My husband and brother are both over 6 ft and the 3 of us in the back were a little cramped. Our experience with Cesar was outstanding from start to finish. He worked cooperatively with us to design two full-day itineraries that comported with our interests and dietary needs. Cesar was punctual in picking us up from our hotel each morning and made appropriate adjustments to our plans as needed based on traffic, opening/closing times for sights, and the like. Parenthetically, Cesar navigated steep hairpin turns (such as between Valldemosa and Port de Valldemosa) and tight parking with aplomb. He is knowledgeable about Spanish history in general and Mallorcan culture and history in particular, and never hesitated to answer our questions or give dining or beach recommendations. He even brought us to an archeological site in Palma that none of the guide books mentioned and introduced us to his wife, who worked there. My wife and I have already recommended Cesar to friends considering a future visit Mallorca.

Cesar was awesome. He has overly accommodating with a late minute request to add 2 additional people to the tour. He was knowledgeable about Mallorca and had hidden gems of knowledge. Drachs cave was awesome and it was pretty clear that he had the 'in' with all the folks working there and had secret ways to get us in the right place at the right time ;-). We also wanted to go to a beach for a while and what an awesome Cala we went to (w/ locals instead of tourist location). Mallorca is a gem of a location and he was the rockstar of the island. We did a wonderful three hour walking tour through Palma, and Alvaro was amazing. With the ride level of detail, not too much not too little, but whenever we wanted to know more, he was extremely knowledgeable. And most of all very entertaining, including our kids. We’ve traveled extensively over the past two decades—on every continent except Australia (so far)—and have had well over 100 tour guides, including more than 40 through Withlocals. We had an absolutely wonderful walking tour with Alvaro in Palma de Mallorca. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and incredibly enjoyable. Even before the tour began, Alvaro was fantastic with communication. We had some unexpected travel delays, and he was so understanding — adjusting our meeting time without any hassle. That flexibility really set the tone for how thoughtful and accommodating he is. The tour began with a visit to the stunning cathedral, where Alvaro brought the history and culture of the site to life with engaging stories and a deep knowledge of the region. My sisters and niece have never been to Mallorca — while my husband and I have been here many times. We all learned so much with Alvaro! We went on an amazing 3 hour walk through Palma - stopping to taste Mallorcan delicacies! Alvaro knows where to go and what to order — some things, even as a chef, I have not tried before! Alvaro is knowledgeable and fun to spend an afternoon with in Palma. Definitely worth it and good for lots of age groups. Lots of walking - so littles may need a stroller if part of the group. I booked this introduction to Palma experience as my sister and I were making our first visit to Palma and were only staying for the weekend - so we couldn't afford to waste time in the wrong parts of town! 10 tastings tour of Mallorca with Alvaro was one of the best experiences we had on our trip. Alvaro is obviously passionate about the city, it's history, and architecture. We stopped by 3 different places and tried multiple foods and drink from the area. I really can't say enough good things about this experience. Alvaro described so many details that we would not have known about otherwise. He was obviously friends with many of the locals. At each of the places we stopped to taste test he explained each dish and what it meant to the culture and even in some cases how it was prepared. Our group of four girls started our 4-day stay in Palma with the '10 Local Food Tastings" with Álvaro and it was the highlight of our trip and a great way to find our bearings in this lovely, welcoming city. Álvaro was in touch ahead of our meeting, which was reassuring and met us at the appointed place at the agreed time and from the 'get-go' he was giving us chat, pointing out interesting places, facts and so on. Having spent time in Dublin working, his English was perfect and the chat and banter was great the whole way around the tour. The food at the local food market was interesting and challenging - offering those already familiar with Spanish cuisine the opportunity to try something new. Food wasn't his only passion; he truly loves Mallorca which was evident as we weaved around the city for some time before our next stop - which was welcome as the tapas at the food market was quite filling. We stopped at viewing points, churches and all sorts of interesting spots; Álvaro certainly knows Palma, and Mallorca in general, and was happy to share his knowledge recommending places to visit, to eat and drink and how to get about the island, if that's your thing. Next food stop was a tiny little family bar offering some lovely local delicacies and some fantastic Vermouth which was followed up by a visit to a beautiful traditional café to enjoy some wonderful Ensaïmada served with hot chocolate and refreshing sorbet. A short walk to the Plaça Major where Álvaro left us to continue on around the old town ourselves. In total, Álvaro spent more than 3 hours with us - it certainly didn't feel like that, but time flies when you are having fun!! Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this fun tour and would certainly recommend spending time in the company of Álvaro. For us the ten tastings were just perfect (although in total, I think we actually had more - five tapas, two different sandwiches with two different olives, a glass of Vermouth, some Ensaïmadas, sorbet and hot chocolate) but for people looking for a full-on foodie experience they might prefer something more focussed on just the food rather than the tour.Time flies when you are having fun!

Did the half day tour of Palma with Cesar. Picked him because he was recommended by our friends who did two tours with him on the island. This tour was the highlight of the trip! Cesar is fun, engaging and full of history and interesting facts. The time flew by walking the streets and listening to the history! Cesar also recommended some restaurants and things to do on the other days which were very helpful. Highly recommend him. Incredible tour with Cesar

This was my first time visiting Palma. I didn't want to wander around aimlessly, so I booked this tour. Alvaro was great. We hit the major sites, but he also took us around the narrow streets of the old town, pointing out so many things we would have never found on our own. We did a food tour with Alvaro in 2023 which was amazing. We loved him and Mallorca so much we came back in 2025 with the in-laws so they could experience a food tour with Alvaro. He is super knowledgeable and will answer any question. The foods we tried were amazing. We will be back for a 3rd time soon. We came back
