Just had a brilliant afternoon in Triana, exploring the market and local tapas bars with Mabel. She brought us off the beaten track to places she likes to go herself, recommended dishes and drinks, as well as giving us lots of insight into Seville and Spanish culture. We had so much fun on this tour and it was a great way to see Triana. Could not recommend Mabel enough, she was a wonderful host 😊Fantastic afternoon in Triana!

My husband and I had a great time with in La Algaba with Jose. We started our tour with me taking an hour long horse back ride with one of Jose's friends while he and my husband shared a cerveza. This experience of the amazing city of Seville was top notch. With Elena, we not only discovered the food culture of Spanish city, but we also learnt so much history of the area. We did the Taste of Triana - Market & Tapas Experience with Elena. It was a fantastic experience with the best combination of food, wine and history. Elena had an intimate knowledge of the Triana Markets and so was able to show us around and order us tapas dishes, cheeses, salads and other local delicacies that we would never would have thought of ordering. She also introduced us to local wines and spirits that we had never experienced before. Elena’s personality was bubbly and gregarious - she had a great sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble. The experience with Elena was one of the best highlights of our visit to Seville. Jose Andres showed us many different facets of Seville. With stops at the Cathedral of Seville and the church of the Macarena, as well as City Hall, the parliament building, the Esplanada de España. At each stop Jose Andres gave us historical information or interesting facts. We visited the newer part of Seville where some of the popular night spots are. He always pointed out the beautiful architecture along the way like the Alfonso XIII hotel, and the Roman and Arabic walls around the city. All in all it was a great way to learn about Sevilla and which locations at which to spend our time.Getting the lay of the land

A delightful experience. Elena superbly guided us through some wonderful iconic sights, & hidden gems. It was terrific to share stories of our respective countries. Elena showed genuine curiosity & interest in our country, as we did hearing & learning from her. Given the heat in Seville, it was a welcome respite to visit the Convent & have lovely home- baked biscuits by the Nuns & have coffee in the nearby bar. Elena was fantastic! She took us to several different stops with a variety of flavors and explained the historical and cultural context of each dish and paired it well with drinks appropriate for the taste and the locale. Each place was clearly the favorite of locals as opposed to a tourist spot. Elena not only had deep knowledge of the wine and drink selections but also explained the cultural nuances of our surroundings. She also explained a lot about Flamenco and its origins and histories as well as the Andalusian language living right in front of us! Very much worth the value! We had a great time with Elena on the Drinks & Bites tour in Seville. Ordering tapas from a non-touristy bar is a huge challenge if you don't know Spanish - or the bartenders. Elena took us to fantastic hidden gems that we would have never found (or navigated) without her. She's extremely passionate about Seville, and loves to show off her city. Tapas and Vermut!

We had such a happy fun tour with Jose. He was totally brilliant and took us to all the fun bars and restaurants, which weren't the usual tourist traps. He was so enthusiastic and fun and my teenage children really enjoyed his company. We walked over the bridge to Triana and he showed us the colourful buildings and the new and old architecture, the ceramic museum and local restaurants and tapas bars. He was so much fun and I would definitely recommend him to my friends. The tour with him was the highlight of our trip to Andalucia.A really fun tour of Seville.

Elena was an excellent guide, with a really deep knowledge of Seville culture, food and traditions. She is also very relaxed and fun which made the day fly by. The food was, of course, excellent and she took us to small family run tapas establishments for some really different dishes. We ate too much, laughed a lot and learned loads. Elena provided us with a fantastic food tour experience in Triana. We tried lots of different foods and drinks, and were very full by the end of the tour. Elena also gave a lot of great historical background information on the food and neighborhood. Elena has training in gastronomy/wine, in addition to being born and raised in Seville, making her a fantastic tour guide. The one area for improvement would be around organization. Elena reached out to reschedule our tour the day before, which luckily we were able to accommodate. Additionally, we were not able to visit one of the locations due to it being too busy, but we were able to try the food from this place to go. Fantastic Food Tour Experience in Triana

We loved Elena! She is so warm, professional and deeply knowledgeable about her home town. We had such an amazing time that we booked her again for the following day! Seamlessly integrating information about history, culture, and food, she deeply enriched our visit to Sevilla. We learned and experienced things that we would never have had access to otherwise — for example, a bar steeped in the history of flamenco as a form of artistic resistance that served an exclusive variety of orange wine and a fantastic dish of pork prepared in an Arabian style. Everywhere we went we were warmly welcomed because we were with her. We did not encounter tourists or other guides at any of our food stops. Elena was also very generous with recommendations and answers to our questions beyond the time that we spent with her. Elena was a total pleasure to spend time with and she has my highest recommendation.Elena is phenomenal

This tour was the perfect start for our short trip to Sevilla! Jose Andres did a wonderful job of showing us around around town and treating us to a huge number of culinary highlights. We started out in Triana and made our way across the bridge for the full Sevilla experience. The mix between learning about the city’s history and at the same time getting to taste the local cuisine was just what we were hoping for. Jose was such an incredible host! He not only introduced us to local dishes and drinks in traditional bars and restaurants, he also gave us plenty of recommendations for the rest of our trip. After walking around town for almost 4 hours, we were a little tipsy and our bellies and hearts were full. Just perfect! That’s what a 10/10 looks like! Muchas gracias, Jose!Sevilla Snack Attack!

Elena was an AMAZING guide for our food tour of Seville. She was very knowledgeable, super friendly, fun and eager to accommodate our specific requests. We have taken several food tours in our travels but Elana's was by far the best. She took us to two different family-owned restaurants. The way she was greeted was like she was a member of the family. The service the staff provided us was second to none and they treated us like family. Absolutely loved touring Seville with Elena. We toured for 5hrs and could’ve stayed touring with Elena for longer. We had a group of varying ages and Elena was brilliant with all of us. Had such a brilliant time with Jose wandering the streets of Seville eating and drinking delicious things. He picked us up from our accommodation (even though it was off the beaten track) and pointed out places to eat, shop, drink and sightsee in the area, and helped us plan our stay. We had great fun eating and drinking in the old town, trying lots of delicious tapas, beer and wines. He’s hugely passionate about food and drink and really knows some of the best local places to eat as well as everyone in them. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough! Definitely worth doing at the start of your stay so he can give you loads of advice about what to do on your trip. He’s a lovely warm, entertaining host and brilliant company. Au début, nous étions un peu déçu car la température avait été difficile depuis notre arrivée à Seville et que notre visite avec Jose Andre était prévue un jour de pluie. Cependant, José s’est montré extrêmement agréable et proactif lorsqu’il nous a proposé de bloquer un autre jour dans son calendrier pour nous accommoder. Le jour de notre rencontre nous avons ri et nous sommes tellement amusés avec José! Il était très compétent et a ajusté les plans en fonction de nos préférences et besoins. Jose is een geweldige tapastour gids! Hij heeft ons naar drie super sfeervolle en zeer authentieke tapasbarretjes gebracht in drie verschillende wijken van Sevilla. Genoten van heerlijke locale tapas en verrukkelijke wijntjes! Hij hield rekening met de vegetarische wens van één van ons. Super!
