I have been in Barcelona now for about a month and one area I had not known anything about was Raval. It was the part of the city I was interested in because of its artsy feel that I had read about.......Also, a bit skeptical about touring it with my friend alone, also because of what I read about 😊 Tomas was great! He was very relaxed about the area, put us totally at ease and took away all preconceived ideas. We didn’t just walk through the area, We engaged with Tomas in many discussions....his wealth of knowledge and history of Spain and other countries as well, was very impressive. The tour seemed to have ended so quickly as we were having such a good time. The we I refer to is my friend and I. If you can take a tour with Tomas you will be very happy you did! We started our tour in Old Town, which is a wonderful part of Barcelona. We visited a number of unique restaurants where we tasted an interesting assortment of Tapas. Federico chose a wonderful and diverse menu based on our preferences. The evening ended with a visit to the Chocolate shop where we tasted terrific sweets dipped in chocolate. Federico provided us with a very informative tour and chose fun and interesting establishments to visit. He was knowledgeable and answered many of our questions about the history of the area. We did the 10 tastings of Barcelona with Elvira. As a family of four ( 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 13), we had very different preferences for food. She adjusted quickly and made sure we had a great tour. As it was our first day in Barcelona, and we were very jet-lagged, we were not as hungry as we should have been for such a tour, so she quickly pivoted and included some walking and historic tour of the City. She was very knowledgeable. She was very generous with her time, and made sure everyone had a good time. I highly recommend!Super flexible and great with kids!

Sebastian was punctual and waiting for us with a big smile, that made us feel like old friends from the first moment we met. He guided us through delicious local tapas and patisseries at unique local spots that we would never had found without a Host :) Between spots he told interesting stories and fun facts about the city. The whole tour was a perfect balance between a laid back and well organized local experience. Thanks to his actor skills, he is a great communicator and sociable, which made our time together truly enjoyable! What an amazing experience! I can't even just call it a tour, it was definitely an experience! Alan was amazing and really went above and beyond! We ate so much delicious food, trying things we hadn't yet as well. He picked great places to stop. Drink recommendations to pair with our food was great as well. Now comes the best part...Alan our guide, friend, host, teacher... He was AMAZING! So much knowledge shared in such a wonderful way! To say he went above and beyond is an understatement! He showed us so much. You could tell he loved being there sharing his knowledge of the beautiful city of Barcelona as much as we did! Elvira was patient as we got lost and were running behind and greatly appreciate her flexibility! We had a fun walk around the gothic quarter with our family of 3 adults and 3 kids, all under the age of 4. some of the topics felt a bit confusing and unfinished / where we would jump around and didn’t feel like a natural flow of details but not a deal breaker.
