I was really looking forward to this tour, with Milan being the fashion capital. However this was a real let down. All we did was walk up and down 2 streets in Milan. We'd walk into a shop, Caterina would speak with them in Italian, we'd have a look around and we'd walk out of the shop. I did buy one thing, however, when I went to Venice, the EXACT same thing was half the price that I paid for in the shop that Caterina took us to. The tour was supposed to include a stop at a gelateria... it didn't happen. The tour was supposed to be for 3 hours... it was only 2.5 hours. I'd originally booked the tour for 10.30am. Caterina changed it to 11.30am... then she changed it yet again to 11am. When we started the tour, Caterina said that she was doing another tour at 2pm. Not good enough! All the things that I had wanted to buy in Milan, I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for in Venice. If I could give this tour a 0, I would. Caterina just didn't seem at all interested in doing this tour, her heart didn't seem to be in it. And she was more interested in buying stuff for herself. Some tour guides are great, they are engaging, entertaining and tell you a bit about their town and its history. This tour wasn't one of those tours. Uninteresting and the giide was uninterested.Not worth the money

Keit did the impossible! My grown son, who loves fashion and quality, has such a difficult time gaining access to these things. Most shopping areas feature women’s clothing or are mass produced making selection limited. Keit found several local artisans with high quality that satisfied both our desire to stay local and fit his style. This tour was indeed a highlight of our Milan visit!Take the fashion tour!

Caterina was so friendly and helpful. She took us to an area I had not gotten to on my own. And the last stop was the best fabric store. I had done some research on my own regarding fabric stores but her knowledge of Milan got us to places my Google search could not. She was fun and adaptable. We didn’t have much time in Milan so we booked a fashion tour with Cat. We were taken to a lower profile street, where smaller, upcoming designer shops were present. Cat arranged for us to gain discounts at some of the shops. My wife and I scored in several stores, as my wife purchased boots in one store, and a skirt in another. I had been looking for some men’s boots, so she took us to this shop called Benheart, where we both scored on boots. I bought two pairs and could’ve easily bought 5. My wife scored again and bought 2 more pairs. The only unfortunate thing is that since we spent so much time at this store, we weren’t able to visit other stores, which cut time with Cat. Cat was pleasant, funny and easy to work with. Strongly recommend Caterina. Succesful Fashion Tour

We experienced great and different shops in an interesting area. Shops we never would have found ourselves and background knowledge of the italian fashion, we didn't know. The top experience was definetely the visit in Luisa Beccaria, which was unbelievable and was absolutely once in a lifetime experince if you love beautiful dresses❤️❤️❤️ Nice shopping and THE EXPERIENCE

Caterina was exceptional! We came to Milan with a special purpose in mind- to find my fiance a suit for our wedding, but we didn’t know the first thing about suit shopping in Milan. Caterina went above and beyond. She did research before our appointment/tour and lined up four (4!!!!) special Milan suit places for us to visit. Two were ready made collections and two were appointments with special tailors who would make custom suits. The variety of the visits was perfect- two traditional and two modern. When the day came, having Caterina with us was amazing. While everyone could communicate with some english, having Caterina there to translate the details was a life saver. We were able to have specific conversations about what we wanted and learn a ton about what the suit makers/tailors thought was the best thing. When we went to the tailor made suit shops, Caterina was amazing at helping guide us through the process and broke everything down into steps for us. We got the best outcome we could have hoped for- a beautiful, tailor made suit for our wedding!! And the next day, when we went on a walking tour through Milan, another guide said (of the area of the places we visited with Caterina), “this is where real Milan people live and shop”. He didn’t even know we had purchased a suit there the day before! I cannot recommend Caterina enough. She made our Milan trip totally worth it and we are forever grateful!!! Book with Caterina and you won’t be sorry. She’s friendly, funny, energetic and knows her stuff!Beyond expectations- Caterina is the best!

I only wish we could have done a tour every day! I think both Caterina and I were curious how this Fashion Tour would go. I’m much older than the typical Fashion Tour client and I had never done a tour with With Locals. Well it turned out to be a great time. I was exposed to some of the local artisans which was why I signed up. But more than that I got to spend time with an open minded, open hearted local. We shared our own stories as we walked along ducking into local shops. It was all topped off with a spritz in Navigli. Grazie Caterina! Ciao ciao ciao!Give me more, give me more!

We had a good 3 hour walking tour of “fashion” in Milan. Caterina did a great job of listening to our interests and modifying the tour to meet our needs. Eg. Looking for younger hip fashion or more conservative, leather, accessories etc. When you take this tour with Caterina, I would suggest you shoot her a txt outlining what you are looking for. My husband and I learned so much in just a few fun hours! We appreciated Caterina's humor, stories, and ability to find shade on a very hot day. She knows the Duomo well. Our food tour with Caterina was so much fun! The food was delicious and she showed us some cool stuff around the city too. She’s also a riot, we laughed so much and got to vicariously feel like a fun local chatting and joking with the many shop owners/workers we met along the way. My only regret was that we did our tour on our last day in Milan so we weren’t able take advantage of all the tips Catarina gave us about things to try and see in the city. Guess we’ll just have to go back!So much fun!

Don't think twice - just book this food tour! Not only did we get to try delicious food (much different and more authentic than the food at places that are tourist traps), but we had so much fun doing it!! Caterina was so understanding when a rainstorm foiled our travel plans, and was still able to accommodate us - and I'm so glad that she did. I haven't laughed that much (or eaten that much) in a while! :)Just book this!

We had an amazing time touring the Duomo with Caterina, even in the midst of a torrential downpour! She took us up to the top, umbrellas in tow, and also gave us a great tour of the inside. Her English was amazing and we learned a lot. She also has a great sense of humor so it was really fun despite all 3 of us being soaked. We started our Italy adventure with a very quick 24 hours in Milan. We wanted to get something out of the day versus just meandering through the city. We booked our food tour a few months before and started communicating with her about the day. The trains to our next destination were not running on the day we needed them due to a holiday and construction and Caterina helped us navigate through that. We also added a tour of the Duomo and she was so knowledgeable and we got a lot out of it. Would highly recommend spending part of your day with Caterina!! Milan with Caterina!
