Lucia was very friendly and knowledgeable. The walk was hilly but frequent stops made it manageable. Lucia was flexible with the itinerary which worked well for us. Lots of local knowledge shared which we were able to use during the remainder of our stay. I would recommend a tour with Lucia early in a visit to take advantage of her insider tips. Meine Tochter und ich haben in 3h mit Lucia viel über Lissabon und die Geschichte der Stadt erfahren. Wir haben eine tolle Zeit mit ihr verbracht und waren über den Restaurant Tipp begeistert! Das afrikanische Restaurant "Cantinho do Aziz" mit den Gerichten "Chamussa" und "Caril de Camarão" waren super lecker! 😋 Lucia ist sehr engagiert, kompetent und lustig. We spent our first afternoon in Lisbon walking with Lucia and over the three hours that we spent Lucia introduced us to Lisbon's geography, history as well as providing practical tips and pointers about how to get around the City. At the end of the tour we felt that we had made a friend and had got our bearings which we were then able to apply to the next two days of our itinerary. We will return to Lisbon in two weeks and will no doubt continue to reap the benefit of Lucia's advice. Lucia is highly knowledgeable about Lisbon's multi-cultural history and translates it into the vibrant City that it is today. Highly recommend this experience. Luisa was a great local to wander through the city with. She has a very unique insight because she lived in one of Portugal's overseas territories for years before coming to Portugal. We had a slightly adapted version of the tour because we'd already visited one of the locations. Luisa introduced us to some of the hidden elevators the locals use to get around, showed some great viewpoints, and gave us a brief version of the history of each area. Mostly, we talked about life in Portugal over the years. At the end, she brought us to the best pastel de nata we had all trip, gave us an expert tip about the best seafood in town (we went twice it was so good!), and helped us plan our public transit there and to where we were going the next day. Lucia was an amazing host, showing us some great places to eat, shops and experience the city! We learned of much of the different cultures in Lisbon and the history that have left behind as well as the history being written now, with new cultures and tourism coming in. We found some great hidden gems along the way that Lucia pointed out and took in a lot of rich knowledge on the city. She was amazingly warm and considerate with a great sense of humour, making the tour a true joy! It really was like being shown around by a friend, me and my girlfriend felt very relaxed and looked after. We had great conversations to do with many things and there was never a dull moment! Such an amazing person and truly lovely human! Warm, energetic and very knowledgeable!

If you are considering booking a tour with Luci, do it! She’s the best! My family and I arrived in Lisbon 3 hours later than planned, jet lagged and tired. Luci was our first introduction to the city. She was funny, insightful, kind, and just an overall joy to be around. As soon as we met she made an effort to get to know my kids (1 and 3 years old) and to incorporate them into the tour. Wherever we went, she ordered little treats for them and made them feel special. She also introduced us to new foods and local restaurants that we never would have thought to try on our own. By the time the tour was over, we had completely forgotten about how tired we were and couldn’t stop talking about how much fun we had all had. If we ever come back to Lisbon, we will no doubt book another tour with Luci. Thank you, Luci, for making our first day so special!Luci is amazing!

Die Zeit die wir mit Lucia verbringen durften , war fantastisch. Wir hatten eine halben Tag mir Lucia wo sie unser Foodguide war. Lies uns köstliche Speisen probieren und hat uns immer wieder Einblicke in die Kultur und Lebensart der Portugieser gegeben. Am zweiten Tag hatten wie eine tolle Tour durch Alfama , sind mit der Rolltreppe gefahren, hat uns zu einer tollen Aussichtsplattform gebracht mit Blick über ganz Lissabon (kostenlos!) . Zum Schluss hat Lucia uns noch gezeigt wo die Einheimischen essen gehen. Grandios :) Wir haben es am nächsten Tag ausprobiert, super lecker!!!! We had a private tour with Lucia at the end of April, booked through Withlocals – and it was simply perfect! Communication beforehand via WhatsApp was smooth and personal. Lucia really tailored the experience to our group – we weren’t looking for dry facts and figures, and she picked up on that immediately. We saw all the major highlights, heard fascinating stories, and got so many insider tips for the rest of our stay. One of the spontaneous highlights was stopping by a local tavern to enjoy a glass of Ginjinha. Lucia speaks excellent German and has such a warm and engaging personality. Our tip: book the tour at the beginning of your trip so you can make the most of all her recommendations. Highly recommended! A true highlight of our Lisbon trip!

Wer Lissabon nicht aus typischer Tourisicht mit den üblichen Hotspots kennenlernen möchte, sondern individuell, mit Insidertipps und dabei noch unterhaltsam, dem empfehlen wir unbedingt eine Stadtführung mit Lucia! Wir (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) haben in 3 Stunden einen tollen Einblick sowohl in die Stadt, als auch ein wenig in die portugiesische Mentalität erhalten und waren sehr glücklich mit unserer Entscheidung für Lucia. Die Kinder wurden von ihr immer wieder mit kleinen Aufgaben betraut und hatten ihren Spaß, wir Erwachsene sowieso. Herzlichen Dank nochmal!Eine Empfehlung von Herzen!

Wir waren mit Lucia 4 Stunden unterwegs in Lissabon sie holte uns an unserem Appartment ab. Mit den Kindern 3 und 8 Jahre alt war sie sofort auf einer Wellenlänge sowie mit uns. Ich kann mir keinen besseren und netteren Guide vorstellen. Sehr informatives und auch auf die Kids abgestimmtes Programm. Alles in allem finden wir besser geht es nicht. Lucia is wonderful! She told us where to meet and was waiting on the bench. We walked through several areas, and she knew where to take elevators with no lines and avoid huge hills! She took us to pastry shops, the oldest book store, a Ginjunha stand, Alfama district, and so much more. Instead of waiting in an hour line to get a view from St. George castle, she took us to a coffee shop balcony with the same view-no lines! It was a great experience! If you want a walking tour with a guide who knows and loves Lisbon, talk to Lucia!So much fun!
