Mia picked us up at our hotel on Paper Island, and we headed straight to Cristiania. An interesting part of Copenhagen, but where the value of a great guide like Mia is important. After this first part of the tour, we went through Christianshavn, visiting some important buildings and highlights, to Vesterbro. Mia is from this part of the city, and very knowledgeable to show us the interesting parts. A fantastic way to visit the not so ‘popular’ parts of the is great city. We walked 12Km and happily had some Smørrebrød to finish the morning. Out of the beaten teacks

We hired Mia on our first day in Copenhagen which turned out to be the best decision of our long weekend there. Mia customized our tour to what we were interested in and took us to some amazing places which I don’t believe are on a regular touring schedule. Her knowledge of the art scene and all the neighborhoods that would be of interest to us, were off the beaten track and we loved it. Mia is super accommodating and a fun person to be around. While the guide was flexible and friendly, the depth of the content was not there and clearly lacked the promised intimate knowledge of the area the story telling component. The tour had finished ~ 40 min ahead of the paid 3 hours - i guess there was not much else to say….Adjust your expectations

We had a really great time with Sergiu and walked through three different districts. He is a perfect guide if you are hungry for detailed information about the city. Next time we won't buy a travel guide (book) in advanced. We can fully recommend him, but make sure not to eat too much, Sergiu is pure 'brain-food' and we gained a broader insight view into the daily life of Copenhagen! :) Very interesting! My husband and I booked a custom tour with Sergiu. Throughout the booking process it was a true conversation with Sergiu. It was plan from the beginning that he wanted to be clear what we were looking for and what our expectations were. He put time in up front and the results did not disappoint. We had a very limited time in Copenhagen but after 4 hours with Sergiu, we felt like we knew the city, not just the tourist areas but nooks off the beaten track. More importantly we had a real feel for the culture of Copenhagen. The time spent with Sergiu made us appreciate our remaining time in Copenhagen so much more. I highly recommend Sergiu's tour of Copenhagen. Prior to our visit, we had a chat session, where our tour was mapped out. Sergiu responded to all of my questions and concerns immediately. Our family rarely is in the same place at the same time and it was such a special treat to be able to have a family reunion in Copenhagen over our spring break this year. A highlight for us was to have our annual family portrait taken in such a beautiful city and that is how we met Sergiu. Our tour was a little over $500USD for what we expected to be a customized bike tour of Copenhagen. We specifically asked to avoid the most touristy sections of Copenhagen and focus on getting to know how the city was laid out and where the locals lived and frequented. The three hour tour we received was a rushed lap around the city with only one significant stop, a brief coffee break in Christiania (probably the most “touristy” spot on the tour) and very little useful information we couldn’t have gleaned from watching YouTube. This is our first time using WithLocals and I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say we were taken advantage of by Monica. I would suggest any others considering a private tour to look elsewhere as there is no sign thus far WithLocals is particularly interested in remedying the situation.A poor experience for a premium price

My daughter and I had the pleasure of doing a tour with Claudio a few days ago and it surpassed our expectations. We love food, and we equally love history and learning about the people and the culture of places we visit.
