We had hoped to see the Frida Kahlo museum but couldn’t get tickets, but went to Cuoycan anyway and had very enjoyable tour with Al. It’s only about 25-30 mins from the city but it’s much slower, relaxed pace. We walked all along cobble stone streets to see some of the beautiful old homes, stopped in a watercolor painting museum, saw the town square and got some ice cream and churros. It was really nice way to spend our last day, highly recommend Al. Relaxed walk through Cuoyacan

If you are thinking of booking a tour with Victor--do it right away. He books up fast and with good reason. My husband and I, who travel a lot (though this was our first time in CDMX) and like to use local guides, booked three tours with Vincent, and all three were among the best we've ever had. We did the Kickstart tour our first day in town, the off the beaten track Coyoacan tour, and a tour Victor put together for us of the Lagunilla Market (a huge flea market on Sundays that would have been impossible to navigate without Victor). From start to finish, Victor was friendly, charming, and so knowledgable about a city he clearly loves dearly and understands deeply. He was so flexible about seeing what we wanted and making suggestions about routes that we would like best, following up with lots of information after the tours so we could continue to explore more on our own. By the end of the tours with Victor, we not only learned a lot about CDMX but we feel like we made a new friend for life!Victor is 100% the best!!

Our group of 6 friends was lucky to book Victor in two different tours. The first day we explored Mexico’s historic center and the second day we went to Coyoacán. Victor is very knowledgeable of Mexico’s history and made our experience highly educational, interesting and fun. It is evident that he knows and loves his city. He took us to many spots we had never visited before in previous trips to Mexico and provided great historical context. Alaya communicated several times with me before our trip to Mexico and was very detailed in describing our meeting place. She is charming and a fun person to be with. She was able to tell us about the history and the many streets we walked on, including the park through which we walked. She was sure to take us through the market and pointed out good ice cream. At our stopping point, she directed us to La Casa Azul, only 2 blocks away. Walking around Coyoacan would have been OK by myself, it's got parks and cafes and markets, but seeing it with someone who knows the city and its history so deeply was so much better! Nalleli taught me a ton about how the area fits into Mexico City's culture and history, and we got to see a lot of niche spots that I would have never found. It was really nice having someone show me the little museums, cafes, and historical buildings I would never have access to without local insight (or any real Spanish-speaking ability). Nalleli is a gem and I would gladly learn more from her.Had the Best Time in Coyoacan!

We loved learning more about Coyoacan: the culture, the people, the traditions, the coffee and ice cream, and the history. Since we had already been to the Frida Museum, we wanted to dig deeper, and Alaya provided a hands-on walking tour. We learned so many "local" tidbits about the area that you don't often read in a guidebook. Put on your walking shoes because the best way to see the area is by walking through it. We were even "blessed" in one of the parks and saw so many families and couples eating, dancing, eating, listening to music, and enjoying life. Alaya brought it alive for us by telling us the back stories, and showing us where to get away from the hubbub of one of the largest cities in the world! Daniel was such a great guide. His love for Cuyoacan came through and helped us fall in love with the neighborhood. It was so special to see everything through his eyes, interacting with local merchants and others. He also knew so much about the history and culture of the area and Mexico City more widely. He was early at our meeting point, which I appreciated. Mariel customized our tour of Coyoacan to include a tour of the Frida Kahlo museum, and as it was a very hot day, she brought a mini electric fan to help us get through the heat!
