Poor guy. No knowledge. No English abilities. Walking around like a stray dog. No idea why we were strolling in places that have no meaning or interest. Seen two graffiti and two statues. Had mild knowledge to explain what we are seeing. After two hours of marching for no apparent reason we told him it would be enough. Total waste of time and money. And sore legs.Worst ever

We recently joined a guided tour with Maria She is very nice, approachable, and flexible with our requests, which we truly appreciated. However, there were some challenges. Her English level is not very strong, which sometimes made it hard to fully understand the explanations. Additionally, the tour included a lot of Polish names and details that were difficult for us to follow and felt less relevant. My husband and I booked Marcin for a walk of Praga. We are so glad we did. It felt like walking around with a friend. First of all Marcin made the area accessible. We could have walked around by ourselves, but Praga doesn't have many sights in the conventionel way - you need to know what to look for. We covered history and the present and also music and ethics and talked about our lives in generel. We also got some great advice for the area of Warsaw where we stayed. Like Walking with a Friend

I read that Praga district is becoming more and more interesting nowadays, there is a lot to see and do. For example street art, cool places to hang out and more. I wrote to Marcin that we are interested in street art and basically everything about art. He showed us some murals yes, but did not know anything about why or how they got created, no background at all. He walked us around the districted and it was interesting to see yes, but all the same - he basically talked about the contrasts with the new and old buildings and that was all. we went to the old town market and it was closed, I mean literally nothing to see but empty stalls (why go there at all?) we found out later that there where many more murals to see in the area (and went ourselves for free this time) and that there was a really cool museum of neon lights and soho factory (also came back later to see it ourselves). As we were staying on the other side of the river in the old town, the going back and forth was time consuming and frankly irritating because we payed for the tour, wrote our interests and could have seen everything in one day! All in all really disappointed :( it is not the first tour we took, we travel a lot and always take private tours in all the cities to get to know the culture and history better. It was the worst experience we ever had. And also the most expensive one we took on this trip. The other tours were amazing, with a lot of background, knowledgable and passionate guides, this was just a huge disappointment. Really disappointed :(

Marcin walked us into the heart of Praga, showing us an alternate Warsaw. Praga is on the other sode of Vistula, and in the middle of a changing phase from poor district to... gentrified-hipster-mecca? Who nows? Anyway it reminds me strong of East Berlin 20 years ago or even more. Through Marcin we had the possibility to deep into the quarter, his houses, his courtyards, hos shops, and discover the signs of the WWII, still present in the memories of peoples and on the walls of some houses. Even if me and my wife had a little organisation problem because of other appointments, Marcin was very flexible and managed to solve it. It was fun to go through Praga along with him and we are grateful for this wonderful opportunity. I suggest Marcin’s tour to everyone interested into digging deep on Warsaw!Streets of Praga

From minutes after I booked Sebastian was attentive to our needs and interests. We asked for a tailored tour around the Warsaw Uprising time period and he took us to areas and showed us places we would never have found on our own. We stopped for lunch at a Milk Bar, a communist holdover, and enjoyed a traditional polish lunch. Again, we wouldn’t have known about milk bars without our guide. After lunch we headed to the Royal Castle where Sebastian shared his extensive knowledge of both the building and its previous inhabitants. The day after our tour Sebastian texted me information on what we planned to do that day and also ensured we knew it was the 81st anniversary of the Uprising and where to be at a specific time to honour the day. Again, can’t say enough good things. Thanks Sebastian.Don’t miss your for an amazing experience!

wir waren mit Sebastian begeistert unterwegs. Es war genau das, was ich mir gewünscht hatte. Es war infomativ, unterhaltsam, komfortabel in seinem Auto und an manchen Orten zu Fuß. Wir haben viele Dinge erfahren über die Geschichte meiner 6fachen Urgroßeltern , die jüdische kKaufmannsfamilie Szmul Zbytkower und Judyta Jakubovicz. Das steht nicht alles im guidebook oder im Internet, besonders, welche Bedeutung sie für die Geschichte Warschaus hatten. Sebastian kennt alle Hintergründe, kann die Geschichte auch politisch einordnen. Es war eine große Bereicherung und ein einmaliges Erlebnis. in 3 Stunden sahen wir den Stadtteil Praga mit jüdischem Friedhof, altem Gelände des Anwesens von Szmul, aktuelle Nachbarschaftsaktionen der bestrickten Straßenpoller; alte russische Kaserne, Wandmalereien; Hinterhöfe, Kapellen uvm. Sebastian spricht sehr gut deutsch. Der Ausflug hat viel Spaß gemacht und sich sehr gelohnt. auf den Spuren der Vorfahren in Praga
