Minty went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. We threw a last minute change at her when she picked us up, and she accommodated us easily. She helped us navigate the sticky waterfalls, called the hotel to reschedule another activity when we ran late, and was very clear about the timing for each drive and stop. The day spent with Minty was memorable. Minty went above and beyond to make sure our day around Chiang Mai was AMAZING and memorable. She picked us up right at 5am so we could do the sunrise and explore the temple. We got an extra temple on the way down. Grabbed breakfast. The highlight was visiting a local farm where we made Thai new year flag (the craft was done by his mom and grandmom), then we explored his farm fields, tried local thai rum, saw tobacco farming. After we visited the "sticky waterfalls" and Minty did a great job navigating the traffic for us. Finished up the day with a raft down the river and even saw an elephant in the river! Minty was exceptional and made us feel so welcomed to her homeland! We cannot recommend this trip enough!!! Thank you so much! Amazing Day with Minty!

Minty was an excellent guide! She picked us up at 8:30 in the morning, at our hotel, and took us to an elephant sanctuary, where we got to interact with the elephants and learn all about them. It was such a fantastic experience! After the elephants we were taken to a local lunch place and had a great meal before heading out to the sticky waterfall. Minty knew exactly where to take us and showed us how to go down the waterfalls safely. She also explained which waterfall route was easiest and which was the hardest. Without her we would’ve been lost! She was a great guide, but not only that she was a very sweet person and we really enjoyed our day with her.Amazing day with Minty!

Minty was simply amazing! She picked us up in a luxurious van and timed our activities perfectly well. She suggested we visited a farm after we’d been to the sticky waterfalls and we just loved it. We learnt to plant rice, ride buffaloes and walked around the beautiful countryside. We didn’t feel rushed while doing lots. It felt more like spending the day with a friend than a guide, she also explained a lot of Thailand’s history, provided us with snacks and drinks and overall was very attentive and flexible. It’s not always easy to plan a day that makes both children happy (one is 11 and the other is 18) but Minty really aced it. We booked minty for a half day adventure in Chiang Mai and had a perfect time. She was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and very sweet. She arrived in a clean, comfortable new truck at the time we discussed and took us to the Buatong (Sticky Waterfalls). She walked us through the falls so we felt super comfortable scaling it down and back up. After she took us to a really lovely lunch for some authentic Khao Soi. We booked Minty for our family (boys aged 11 and 15) trip to the sticky waterfalls. Minty arrived promptly in a lovely clean, air-conned people carrier and whisked us out the city. We had a great time at the waterfalls, they were a bit busy but it was a Thai holiday and still amazing to see/climb. Minty also provided us with water shoes which was much appreciated! She then offered lots of other places we could visit on our way back to Chiang Mai. We opted for a cave temple and lunch overlooking a different waterfall. Lunch was great and it was lovely to chat with Minty and learn more about her and Chiang Mai. She then sent us some great recommendations for places to eat in Chiang Mai. We spent an amazing day with Minty. She took us to the sticky waterfall and showed us the best way to climb it down and took great pictures on the way which she sent us later. Then we had some time to ourselves which was nice - the waterfall is beautiful and surrounded by nature (and cool!). After lunch she took us to a small elephant rescue which was amazing, because it was super cute business where we were the only guests. Elephants were amazing of course. Our visit to Bua Tong Sticky Waterfalls was fantastic and Minty was a terrific guide! She expertly showed my husband and me how to safely navigate walking up and down the waterfalls. It’s daunting at first but we trusted Minty and quickly got the hang of it. It is stunningly beautiful and such pure, joyous fun! Minty took loads of photos of us so we had no need for our phones in the waterfall. Minty was wonderful. She took us out on tour and we had a wonderful time with the Elephants. It was me and my husband with three elephants! Also, she took just the best photos. Most of the tour guides take photos for you which is a nice bonus service but Minty really had an eye of where we would look the most 'Instagramable'. We had a blast with Minty and will book with her again if we make it back to Chiang Mai (crossing my fingers that we do). Best Photographer!!!

Minty picked us up with her nice and comfortable pick-up for the little more then 1 hour drive to the sticky falls. She knows the place really well and guided us safely through this extraordinary experience,leaving us lots of time to discover it by ourselves, she was also taking great pictures/videos of us to bring home. After a really nice lunch, we took the road again for a short drive and we arrived at the Chiang Mai Karen elephant Care to live an amazing experience with three very cute elephants. We prepared their food and then spent a long time feeding and hugging the elephants before giving them their bath. We were the only guests at the small sanctuary that day, which made it even more special. The Karen people were very kind and nice, they gave us lots of time (and bananas ;) with the elephants. And Minty documented the experience with great pictures and videos. Thank you very much Minty for this great day! knowledgeable & kind guide - great day!

W-O-W! Minty really did an outstanding job as our local guide. The communication leading up to our day was spot on: quick reactions, taking our wishes into consideration and coming up with nice alternatives, providing a packing list, and when we did not have watershoes for the Sticky Falls she provided them for us! Minty is fluent in English and has lots of knowledge about the history of Thailand and in particular the region of Chang Mai. She provided us with many great old tales and current events that are now happing in Thailand. We had an amazing time at the sticky falls; such a wonderfull experience. And Minty was our personal photographer and provided us with enough pictures to fill 2 photoalbums. And that wasnt even the best part of the day. Me and my bf had this dream of interacting with Elephants. Minty went out of her way to arrange this for us! We went to a local elephant sanctuary of the Karem Tribe. It was such an amazing experience; it felt like a warm blanket and you could really see the beautiful connection between the Karem Tribe, the Elephants and the nature around them. We could actively engage in the day to day ritual of the elephants and the carers. We pressed to Minty that we wanted to have an ethical experience; where we do not harm the elephants in any type of way. The Karem people were wonderful and caring; the elephants have been in their care since generations before them so they really have a unique familybond and it showed so well. Minty really has so much knowledge and excitement for the activities. It was a day to never forget. We had a fantastic day with Minty. First we stopped at the Sticky Waterfalls. Minty provided extra sticky shoes. Later we went to a lovely, non touristy farm with elephants. We were the only guests there and we got to feed and wash the elephants. A lovely experience. Then we had extra time and Minty took us white water rafting. That wasn't even on the itinerary and was a great addition. After dropping us at home, son realised that he had dropped an ear pod on the street at our second to last stop. We had a great trip with Minty who took us on a wonderful hike to a hidden waterfall and a wonderful walk up the sticky waterfall. The nature was wonderful, the sticky waterfall a unique experience unlike any other we have had. Minty was helpful and assisted with photos and instructions as how to best walk the waterfall. It was truly a unique experience trekking to the hidden waterfall. We had a great time adventuring through the jungle and seeing something not even all locals knew about. After we trekked to the hidden waterfall, Minty took us to the base of the sticky waterfall where we had a great time climbing up it. Minty took lots of pictures for us and was kind enough to hold some of our belongings as we ventured through. She was knowledgeable about the area, had great food recommendations and was funny and kind to talk to. Would recommend going on an adventure with Minty any day!Wonderful Experience!

The best part of this experience was the hidden waterfalls. You could do the sticky waterfalls on our own, but the hidden one is super secluded. We were literally the only ones there. Minty was very friendly and knowledgeable. I'd recommend bringing shoes that have good grip (that you don't mind getting muddy), a waterproof bag, and bug spray. Very secluded!

We had the pleasure of spending 3 hours visiting a variety of temples, sites and markets around Chiang Mai's old city. Minty is a wonderful guide and easily accommodated when a sudden rain storm hit where she took us to the Chiang Mai Museum until the rain passed. Minty had a fantastic local knowledge and gave us some hints and tips for visiting Chiang Mai's other areas. My cousin and I had the best half-day introduction to Chiang Mai, thanks to MInty. In an afternoon, she walked us across the backlanes Old Town, offered us highlights of popular temples with an in-depth visit of the most breath-taking one (IMHO! :D) and finished off with an extremely comfortable drive in Minty's luxury van to the Chinatown Night Market / Flower Market PLUS a secret roof-top, birds-eye view of Chiang Mai along the river that we most certainly would have not discovered on our own. We appreciated that she was able to tweak the programme en route once she learned more about us (foodies!) and accommodated pit-stops along the way (coffee! fruit! glutinous rice snacks! braised pork rice!) that personalised this for us and really added value to the experience. We paid for all the extra eats, of course. The best introduction to Chiang Mai

Minty met us in the Marriott lobby at 8:30 and we rolled out of Chiang Mai through a rush hour far less daunting than Bangkok’s. Minty is a very well informed and personable guide who gave us a brief and clear account of the absorption of the Chiang Mai’s Lanna kingdom into modern Thailand under Rama V and its development as a tourist destination and agricultural center. Minty is also an excellent photographer whose pictures never fail to capture the captivating beauty of the tour and the happy faces of her clients. The countryside was lush except where dried rice stubble awaiting burning. The air was acrid with smoke until we started ascending the foothills of the Thanon Thong Chai mountains toward the Doi Suthep-Pui National park. Along the way to the park, we stopped at the Wachirathai waterfall, an 80 meter cascade that drew hordes of awestruck tourists and made a beautiful rainbow at its base. The views from both vantage points were spectacular; from the upper one, the torrent seemingly just beyond arm’s reach. , We entered the park and visited the Rama IX and Queen pagodas, built on gorgeous twin peaks to commemorate the 60th birthday of the beloved late king Bhumibol and the 25th anniversary of his reign. They are serene and shapely, and surrounded by dreamlike mountains and valleys thinly veiled with mists, but breezy and cool, interspersed with gorgeous gardens filled with blooming snapdragons. Inside the queen’s pagoda has frescoes depicting the life of Buddha, and the king’s bas reliefs of the holiest places and moments of Buddha’s life: his birth, enlightenment, first sermon, and death. We drove to Thailand’s highest point, and the crypt of the last King of Chiang Mai. Beside the chedi is a rounded brass plate on which visitors are invited to balance a coin. After watching a succession of coins tilt and fall, I succeeded, and my secret wish will soon be granted. We celebrated with lunch at a Hmong restaurant Romphoti, where we a had the best tilapia ever. After lunch, we stopped at viewpoint overlooking a verdant valley where flowers and vegetables, perhaps including those we’d just lunched on, are grown beneath canopies. We drove to the entrance of the Dai Inthanon park, collected bamboo walking sticks, end set off into the forest led by Minty and assisted by a local guide, Miu, a young Karen girl. Rainforest trees towered above us, We trekked downhill near a river whose roaring cascades filled the forest with soothing sound and delighted the eyes with their beauty, so close it seemed possible to touch the whitewater as it raced by. We crossed a wobbly bamboo bridge backdropped by a torrent of falling water, then hiked past coffee trees, some with ripened red beans, growing in the shade of the forest canopy. We reached a Karen village where Miu left our group and stayed with a group of elder Karen women looming the textiles for which they are famous. Then Monty returned us to Chiang Mai just after sunset. A great tour near Chiang Mai with Minty

Minty was an incredible guide! She was friendly, very knowledgeable and super flexible. She took us to restaurants and spots we would have overlooked, and gave us a really authentic, fun and exciting experience in Chiang Mai. Minty was also super flexible, able to make changes immediately and seamlessly. The transportation she arranged was fantastic and comfortable. She also gave us some great recommendations for restaurants (again, that we would have never known), and helped ensure we got back to our hotel easily by arranging pick up/drop off.
