We (4 adults) spent the morning with Ellie. She did an excellent job of explaining the history of Gaudi to us and showing us the many examples of his work. We also went to Park Guell. The best part was her knowledge of the exterior of the Sagurda Familia! She really made the entire project make sense to all of us. Would definitely use her again and highly recommend her.Great guide!

We did Ellie's walking tour that gave an overview of Gaudi, Casa Batllo, Casa Mila, Sagrada Familia and ended with us going into Park Guell. We chose to do this the day before we did interior tours of these places and are SO glad we did. Because Ellie is so warm, personable and knowledgeable, we were fully prepared and enjoyed our interior tours the next day more than we would have. We cannot recommend Ellie enough! The explanations to everything were so well though out. This was my third tour and the majority of the details said were new to me, great experience. I have one thing to say, I have no issue with having the tour in english since I’m bilingual, but I put spanish in the tour language and didn’t get which is fine, but would’ve liked it in spanish.Excellent tour

Our family of 5 really enjoyed this Gaudi tour. She shared great info infused with general history of Barcelona and kept us enthralled the entire tour. We were also able to adjust the tour a bit to add the interior of Sagrada Familia and she showed us an amazing chocolate shop that we went back to later that afternoon for traditional drinking chocolate and souvenirs to bring home. This was our first withlocals tour and what a great experience! The tour guide walked us through so many beautiful site and told us so many insights and stories in a fun way. We were staying in Sitges with a group of my coworkers for a few days and only spent one day in Barcelona. This was our first trip to Spain and of course to Barcelona as well. It was our first trip to Barcelona, and we were hoping to find someone who could help us experience the best of Barcelona. Also, having never used Withlocals before, we were a little hesitant but so very glad we decided to go for it. Ellie was wonderful. Ellie was amazing from the start. She Arrived right on time at our meeting location and it was like we were old friends. She described Barcelona fantastic, and gave us the history of Catalonia. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. It was like Ellie, my wife, and myself were three friends experiencing Gaudi for the first time, except Ellie was a professor. She showed passion in the things that mattered to us, and great knowledge as well. We never once felt like we were rushed. Even though we had skip the line tickets to Sagrada Familia, and Park Guell. The Gaudi sights are out of this world amazing. A must see on your trip to Barcelona, and I could not recommend anyone above Ellie for your tour. She is worth every penny and more. Don’t hesitate for one bit. Me and my mother-in-law (75 yrs and walking with a cane) did the 4-hr tour and it was beyond expectations. Ellie is so knowledgeable and really uses storytelling while smoothly guiding you through the streets of Barcelona.
